• Removing elements using XSLT 1.0

  I'm attempting to remove Component elements from the XML below that have File children with the extension "config." The code above works partially - the divs will show when the correct button is checked, but I need to add in some code to make the divs hide again once the button is unchecked. Thanks!

• Maven build fails on an Ant FTP task failure

I tried to specify skipFailedTransfers="true" ignoreNoncriticalErrors="true but these don't fix the problem and the build keeps failing. An Ant BuildException has occured: could not change remote directory: 550 /myBadDir: The system cannot find the file specified. Do you know how to instruct my maven build to don't care about this Ant task error

• 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'data'

  Hello guys, I am sending a SOAP request to my server and getting the response back. sample of the response string is shown below: <?xml version = '1.0' ?> <env:Envelope xmlns:env=http:////www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelop . .. .. <env:Body> <epas:get-all-config-resp xmlns:epas="urn:organization:epas:soap"> ^M ... ... <epas:property name="Tom">12</epas:property> > > <epas:property name="Alice">34</epas:property> > > <epas:property name="John">56</epas:property> > > <epas:property name="Danial">78</epas:property> > > <epas:property name="George">90</epas:property> > > <epas:property name="Luise">11</epas:property> ... ^M </env:Body? </env:Envelop> What I noticed in the response is that there is an extra character shown in the body which is "^M". Not sure if this could be the issue. Note the ^M shown! when I tried parsing the string returned from the server to get the names and values using the code sample: elements = minidom.parseString(xmldoc).getElementsByTagName("property") myDict = {} for element in elements: myDict[element.getAttribute('name')] = element.firstChild.data But, I am getting this error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'data'. May be its something to do with the "^M" shown on the xml response back! Any ideas/comments would be appreciated, Cheers

• MVC : Checkboxes generated using JavaScript not appearing in FormCollection on postback

  I took over another project (written by one contractor, modified by another and now it's not working) written using MVC/C# where a view that has a table (see below) is dynamically populated using JSON/Javascript - the first column of which is a checkbox. View (spark view engine) <table id='component_list' name='component_list' cellpadding='0' border='0' cellspacing='0'> <thead> <tr> <th>&nbsp;</th> <th>Component</th> <th>Component Type</th> <th>Evenflo Part #</th> <th>Supplier Part #</th> <th>Supplier</th> <th>Requirement</th> <th>Location</th> <th>Region</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> </tbody> </table> When the page is rendered, I look at the source for the page and do not see the table data (I wouldn't expect to see this). However, when the form is posted back, controller, the FormCollection is empty. Supposedly this had been working before the last contractor got their hands on it - which is another post all together. My goal right now is having the checkboxes in the FormCollection. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

  Several other questions on SO have come to the same conclusion I have -- using an ItemsControl with a DataTemplate for each item constructed to position items such that they resemble a grid is much simpler (especially to format) than using a ListView. Presumably it is making a few layout passes to get all the Auto-width columns to match up. This is very distracting for my users and I'd like to get it sorted out. Has anyone else seen this?

• How to improve performance of map that loads new overlay images

  I have inherited a website to maintain that uses a html map overlaying a real map to link specific countries to specific pages. previously it loaded the default map image, then with some javascript it would change the image src to an image with that particular country in a different colour on mouseover and reset the image source back to the original image on mouse out to make maintenance (adding new countries) easier i made the initial map a background image by utilising some CSS for the div tag, and then created new images for each country which only had that countries hightlight so that the images remain fairly small. this works great but theres one issue which is particularly noticeable on slower internet connections when you hover over a country if you dont have the image file in your browser cache or downloaded it wont load the image unless you hover over another country and then back onto the first country - i guess this is due to the image having to manually be downloaded on first hover. My question: is it possible to force the load of these extra images AFTER the page and all the other assets have finished loading so that this behaviour is all but eliminated? the html code for the MAP is as follows: <div class="gtmap"><img id="Image-Maps_6200909211657061" src="<?php echo cdnhttpsCheck(); • Selecting first instance of class but not nested instances via jQuery

  Given the following hypothetical markup: <ul class="monkey"> <li> <p class="horse"></p> <p class="cow"></p> </li> </ul> <dl class="monkey"> <dt class="horse"></dt> <dd class="cow"> <dl> <dt></dt> <dd></dd> </dl> <dl class="monkey"> <dt class="horse"></dt> <dd class="cow"></dd> </dl> </dd> </dl> I want to be able to grab the 'first level' of horse and cow classes within each monkey class. But I don't want the NESTED horse and cow classes. I started with .children, but that won't work with the UL example as they aren't direct children of .monkey. I can use find: $('.monkey').find('.horse, .cow') but that returns all instances, including the nested ones. I can filter the find: $('.monkey').find('.horse, .cow').not('.cow .horse, .cow .cow') but that prevents me from selecting nested instances on a second function call. So...I guess what I'm looking for is 'find first "level" of this descendant'. I could likely do this with some looping logic, but was wondering if there is a selector and/or some combo of selectors that would achieve that logic.
