  • Adobe Color Profiles/Color Spaces, how is it possible that this works?

    I'm learning about Color Profiles/Color Spaces/Monitor Color Management Profiles and I was just wondering how any of that justified considering the fact that I could throw the entire color anything off by adjusting the brightness and contrast of my monitor? Additionally there are things like lighting in the place where your monitor resides. I don't understand what makes it possible to know that the colors that you are looking at on your monitor are accurate. I really don't have any idea where to start (considering I obviously can't even get the terminology right in the first place...:-p)

It is worrying, because I have no idea how that might be reproduced. What are the different cases where this error happens, and how can this be fixed or prevented?

I'm also using a Ruby Facebook API gem (mini_fb) which signs my other requests, and in addition to having no idea how to set up the MIME multi-part, even if I did I'm not sure how to add in the required signature values with the gem. Please help!

    Heyo, I'm using UdpClient to query game servers about server name, map, number of players, etc. I've followed the guidelines on this page http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Server_queries#Source_servers and I'm getting a correct reply: I have no idea how I would go about to get each chunk of information (server name, map and the like).     Hello EveryOne, i m using asp.NET MVC 2 for my current project and i need to validate form fields both on client and server side. for that i started with DataAnnotations. Now, i figure out that i have to write buddy class for every model or i have to go to designer generated code and put my annotations there (not a good idea though). if someone can suggest me a solution that helps me avoid writing those buddy classes and get the same functionality.     We're trying to get microphone input in a Flash movie and the post it to the server so it can be saved in a file. Currently, we're using PHP in the server, but I guess the key thing here is: How to post the audio to the server? After a post is made, then I guess it'd be a matter of handling the encoding and saving to a file, which can be done with pretty much any server-side language. Any idea if this is at all possible?

If I use == operator the query works fine. I tried adding brackets to the where clause but it didn't help. Any idea what is missing. Thank you in Advance.

    I have an israeli spreadsheet reading right to left. When I read the values (using VBA) it places a question mark (?) at the beginning and end of the text, in other words it wraps the text with the question mark (ie ?0123456?). If you type Range("A2").value or .value2 or .text the results are the same. Any idea on how to prevent this?

    Is there an existing good example, or how should one approach creating a basic Template system (thinking MVC) that supports "Template Inheritance" in PHP5?
