  Hello! I have a datagridview and a combobox which get populated randomly with data. However, the new data is never displayed automatically. Someone mentioned the idea of invalidating the control to force the application to redraw it and thus iterate through the contents and populate the control with the new data. • Can you configure Spring-Security programmatically?

  I am working to configure Spring-Security with an existing application, for just basic security (i.e. what pages a user can see based on their roles). The question came up wondering if we could set what roles are required for each page in java instead of the ApplicationContext.xml. The idea is to store them in a table in our database, so we can easily change them with out a redeployment. Is this possible? How?

  We're trying to get microphone input in a Flash movie and the post it to the server so it can be saved in a file. Currently, we're using PHP in the server, but I guess the key thing here is: How to post the audio to the server? After a post is made, then I guess it'd be a matter of handling the encoding and saving to a file, which can be done with pretty much any server-side language. Any idea if this is at all possible?

• getting sound on .asf video on Mac OS X

  When I try to open the following video: http://streaming1.hss-win.rpi.edu/ondemand/cogsci/issues_in_cs/issues_in_cogsci_02_04_2009.asf I can get it but without any sound... I tried it both inside the browser (Firefox) and in QuickTime Media player but still it does not work. Any idea how to get this to work on Mac OS X? Using version 10.6. thank you.

  I need to access the MSP and PSP registers (the main and process stack registers) of the Cortex-M3 processor. I'm writing in C/C++. The µVision and associated compiler doesn't let you do inline assembly for this Thumb-2 only core (and I'm not sure that'd be such a good idea anyway).   Hello everybody, I accidentally changed owner of all files on my plone site to plone, and I don't know how to fix this without reinstalling site, which won't be acceptable. I have backup version which keeps default owners but it's changed in the meanwhile on the dafault site. Maybe rsync can sync only ownerships between these copies??? Any idea would be precious. • jQuery color change or CSS?

  I've tried achieving a hover/selected color change for a particular field, but I'm thinking jQuery is the answer. I've looked into some button click tutorials, but maybe I'm not just seeing it or doing it correctly. The idea here is that when a user hovers over a Headline, the background color changes, when they click the headline to expand it, the background color remains constant (selected), however as it stands right now the background color of the expanded fields do not change. • Best way to figure out why didReceiveMemoryWarning is always getting called on a UIViewController

  I have a UIViewController and I'm noticing that I've done something to where the didReceiveMemoryWarning method is getting called every time I run it on an actual device. I've run the project with Run Run With Performance Tool Object Allocations (and Leaks also). There are no leaks but I have no idea how to read or understand the "Object Allocations" data that is displayed. So ... How do I read this information and what is/are the best ways to figure out (and resolve) why this is happening? Thanks
