  • shell script over SSH ends unexpectedly after running 'ant build'

    I wrote a shell script that runs on remote host to build source code with 'ant build' command, and then distribute the built binary to other servers. However, right after Ant build is over successfully(I can see the command line output saying Build was successful), the ssh session ends and whatever commands after 'ant build' does not get executed. I'm confused what might be cause of this behavior. I suspected that it might be because the 'ant build' command takes too long time, and SSH somehow quits itself after that long command. But I don't think that's correct since if I just do 'sleep 60' in place of 'ant build' command, it actually execute latter commands as intended. I'm new at shell programming, so I might have made some silly misassumption. Can someone provide a pointer to a possible cause of this problem?     Intermittently we get a problem where a remote desktop session will get disconnected with the error message “Because of a protocol error, this session will be disconnected. Please try connecting to the remote computer again.” We are getting this with one server only which is running Windows Server 2008, connecting with Windows 7 clients. The session itself stays running, you just get disconnected, and you can try and reconnect. Sometimes you get in for a while then it will kick you out. We are connecting from Windows 7 clients. We have tried connecting using Cord on a Mac and this works fine, so it's not like the session itself is corrupted. One problem is that there are some critical applications running under the session (I know, let's not discuss the idiocy of that), so we cannot reset the session in any way during the working day – so any diagnostics must have minimum impact.     I am in the process of working on Umbraco and when I go throuogh the process of downloading it from Codeplex via TortoiseSVN, I get the following error message. C:\Projects\Umbraco\branches\rb403\umbraco\umbraco.webservices\Properties Can't move 'C:\Projects\Umbraco\branches\rb403\umbraco\umbraco.webservices\Properties\.svn\tmp\entries' to 'C:\Projects\Umbraco\branches\rb403\umbraco\umbraco.webservices\Properties\.svn\entries': The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. Has anyone seen this before and or know of a workaround? to download everything and sync?

  • OS X Terminal ends session at opening : permission denied

    I have an issue with Terminal on MacOS X 10.7.4. I know where it comes from, but I don't know how to solve it : Yesterday, I installed fish-shell as a shell replacement. Following the installation instructions, I ended typing the following command : chsh -s /usr/local/bin/fish I noticed I had to do a : sudo bash for it to work. Once done, I quit. Today, I try to run Terminal and I see te following message : Last login: Wed Jun 27 12:38:01 on ttys000 login: /usr/local/bin/fish: Permission denied [Opération terminée] (yes, I'm French, which explains my poor English). I cannot type any command since I have no access to the Terminal. I tried with iTerm2 but same issue. No command is set at launch in the default profile of Terminal/iTerm2 (well, in the UI). How can I take the power back ? Thank you.

  • Bluetooth headset turns off when Skype call ends

    For about 6 months, I haven't been able to use Skype because when I end a Skype call, my Plantronics Callisto headset gets turned off. I'm paralyzed so I can't turn it on manually. I have a Sony VAIO computer running Windows 7. I have updated my Bluetooth dongle software, uninstalled and reinstalled Skype and uninstalled Skype and gone back to an earlier version; all to no avail. Neither Plantronics nor Skype technical support are interested in looking into this problem for me.

I tried the following but couldnot solve the problem: 1)Client Side Scripting: I called a java script on client clik of button and set the disable property to true.How ever, server side saveButton_Click event is not called because of disabling the button on client side. 2)Disabling in saveButton_Click method on server side: In this case, as the call of saveButton_Click already happend and requested is sent to server,the client side is as it without any difference until the request is processed. I thought that declaring in my manifest something like this <activity android:name="Filter"> <intent-filter> <category android:name="android.intent.SOMETHING" /> </intent-filter> </activity> could be enough, but what kind of intent I have to put on the filter? Looking in the documentation I found only the intents that detects when a call is started. Is what I'm looking for possible? Thanks

  • PHP - post data ends when '&' is in data.

    Hi all, im posting data using jquery/ajax and PHP at the backend. Problem being, when I input something like 'Jack & Jill went up the hill' im only recieving 'Jack' when it gets to the backend. I have thrown an error at the frontend before that data is sent which alerts 'Jack & Jill went up the hill'. When I put die(print_r($_POST)); at the very top of my index page im only getting [key] => Jack how can I be loosing the data? I thought It may have been my filter; <?php function filter( $data ) { $data = trim( htmlentities( strip_tags( mb_convert_encoding( $data, 'HTML-ENTITIES', "UTF-8") ) ) ); if ( get_magic_quotes_gpc() ) { $data = stripslashes( $data ); } //$data = mysql_real_escape_string( $data ); return $data; } echo "<xmp>" . filter("you & me") . "</xmp>"; ?> but that returns fine in the test above you &amp; me which is in place after I added die(print_r($_POST));. Can anyone think of how and why this is happening? Any help much appreciated.   • CSS difficulty horizontally displaying / repeating left and right wrapper images to ends of screen

    I am having trouble getting my left and right repeaters to fill the available space left on wide screens for a website I am working on. The left and right repeaters are background images (approxamately 350px wide) that I would like to show part of, or even repeat if the screen (visible area of screen shown in red) becomes wide enough. In Visual studio 2008, one gets the message press any key to continue and pressing a key closes the command prompt window. How do I set this behavior in 2010? Thanks a lot...
