Apache 2 Fails to Start After Upgrade with No Errors

Hi all Hoping someone can help me with a server issue. Recently we upgraded to the latest apache on 2 boxes within are organisation. One being the master box the other being for failover. The upgrade went fine on the master box but on the failover box apache fails to start with no errors, being output or logged. Both boxes have the exact same configuration so found this a bit strange. I've reinstalled apache and have been through checking the configs and did not find any obvious errors. Eventally I ran a syntax check on each config file being included and found that one of the files apparently has syntax errors. Invalid command 'Order', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration Invalid command 'php_value', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration Invalid command 'GeoIPEnable', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration I've trippled checked all the modules are enabled but it still fails. I've googled the subject of these errors loads but have been unable to fine a solution. I was wondering if anyone had encountered such a problem before and could point me towards a solution. Build associative array based on values of another associative array

I'm looking for an elegant way to turn this array: Array ( [foo] => 1 [bar] => 1 [zim] => 3 [dib] => 6 [gir] => 1 [gaz] => 3 ) Into this array: Array ( [1] => Array ( foo, bar, gir ), [3] => Array ( zim, gaz ), [6] => Array ( dib ) ) Note:, there is no relationship between the keys or values. When I try to drag the circle, the app just creates another circle over the original one, regardless of where I release the drag. qDebug() in DragScene's dropEvent() shows QPointF(0,0) everytime the drag ends. I'm having a hard time trying to understand exactly what I have to do, which classes I should subclass, which methods needs to be overriden, to make this work. The documentation on this isn't very detailed. I'd like to know how to make this work, and if there's some other, more comprehensive resource to learn about the graphics view framework, besides the official documentation (which is excellent btw, but it would be great if there was a more detailed treatise on the subject). EDIT: Following badgerr's advice, I replaced item-pos() in DragScene::dropEvent() with item-scenePos(), now the drop event creates a new circle in the drop site, which is more or less what I wanted. But the original circle is still in place, and while the drag is in progress, the item doesn't follow the mouse cursor. The QGraphicsSceneDragDropEvent documentation says that pos() should return the cursor position in relation to the view that sent the event, which, unless I got it wrong, shouldn't be (0,0) all the time. Weird. I've read in a forum post that you can use QDrag::setPixMap() to show something during the drag, and in examples I've seen pictures being set as pixmaps, but how do I make the pixmap just like the graphics item I'm supposed to be dragging?

Android Canvas.drawText

My code is: Paint paint = new Paint(); paint.setColor(Color.WHITE); paint.setStyle(Style.FILL); canvas.drawPaint(paint); paint.setColor(android.R.color.black); paint.setTextSize(20); canvas.drawText("Some Text", 10, 25, paint); The problem is the text doesn't show through the background, what am I doing wrong? If I remove the canvas.drawPaint(paint) and paint.setColor(android.R.color.black) you can see the text on the screen.....

Why / When / How is this Android serviceBinder resetting to null?

I've written a ListActivity for Android 2.1 which is used to display a list of event categories. As the user selects a category, the program calls a web service to retrieve a list of sub-events. For example, a top level event might be "soccer" and when the user selects this the web service would return various soccer associations (e.g. "english", "french", "german", etc.) and display them in a new list. The following code seems to work occasionally, however sometimes the call to the service (in EventsListTask) fails because the serviceBinder is null. Is there anything I need to watch out for when doing this? Am I calling the target intent incorrectly? Automating Portlet Deployment to WebSphere Portal Server 6.1

I've recently started on a project to develop some portlets which will run on IBM WebSphere Portal Server 6.1. Does anyone know of any scripts, Ant tasks, Maven plugins, etc. for publishing a portlet to Portal Server? In the WebSphere Portlet Factory plugin for eclipse it is possible to "publish" a portlet project to Portal Server instance, however I'd like to know what's going on underneath the hood here (or at least how to replicate the behaviour) so that I can do it in other places (i.e. from continuous integration server). UPDATE: From what I've read it sounds like the Portlet Factory publishes using a WebSphere JMX client. Does anyone know where I can find more details on this?

Qt - invalid conversion to child class

I'm drawing polygons using the Graphics View framework. I added a polygon to the scene with this: QGraphicsPolygonItem *poly = scene->addPolygon(QPolygonF(vector_of_QPointF)); poly->setPos(some_point); But I need to implement some custom behaviour like selection, mouse over indicator, and other similar stuff on the graphics item. So I declared a class that inherits QGraphicsPolygonItem: #include <QGraphicsPolygonItem> class GridHex : public QGraphicsPolygonItem { public: GridHex(QGraphicsItem* parent = 0); }; GridHex::GridHex(QGraphicsItem* parent) : QGraphicsPolygonItem(parent) { } Not doing much with that class so far, as you can see. But shouldn't replacing QGraphicsPolygonItem with my GridHex class? This is throwing a " invalid conversion from 'QGraphicsPolygonItem*' to 'GridHex*' " error: GridHex* poly = scene->addPolygon(QPolygonF(vector_of_QPointF)); What am I doing wrong?

Hi All, I have some commercial programming experience although it was not my primary role (C# and Java), SCJP 6 cert, some SQL experience and have been doing a lot of Android programming (I have one app with 36,000 downloads). I have a degree in Chemistry and a Diploma in Programming (half a degree made up of 2nd/3rd year uni courses). Loading default value in a dropdown and calling onchange event

Hi i have following dropdown <div class="fcolumn"> <label class="text" for="o_Id">Months:</label> <select class="textMonths" id="o_Id" name="periodName" > <option value="000">Select Period--</option> </select> </div> In the following jquery, first it loads fnLoadP() in a drop down list. Than as a default I am loading one of the values in drop down which is '10'. It loads too as default value. But it should be executing $("#o_Id").change.. which it doesn't. $(document).ready(function () { var sProfileUserId = null; $("#o_Id").change(function () { //---- }); fnLoadP(); $("select[name='pName']").val('10'); }); }); Basically my goal is. Display contents of file as binary.

Is there a good way to display the contents of a file as binary? I am creating a program that needs to save and load a 2D arrays from a files. When loading a saved file the result appears different. I need to be able to view the contents of the saved file in plain binary to tell if my problem in in my save or load function. Is there a program like octal dump but is binary dump? Thanks.

"2002-11-28T14:00:00Z" I want to just display the time portion. For which I would have to apply filter date: 'hh:mm a' I tried ng-model="labor.start_time | date: 'hh:mm a'" Please let me know how i can show only time portion in input box showin time only. passing value of index number to different php file.

Inside Red Gate - Introduction

I work for Red Gate Software, a software company based in Cambridge, UK. In this series of posts, I'll be discussing how we develop software at Red Gate, and what we get up to, all from a dev's perspective. Before I start the series proper, in this post I'll give you a brief background to what I have done and continue to do as part of my job. The initial few posts will be giving an overview of how the development sections of the company work. There is much more to a software company than writing the products, but as I'm a developer my experience is biased towards that, and so that is what this series will concentrate on. My background Red Gate was founded in 1999 by Neil Davidson & Simon Galbraith, who continue to be joint CEOs. I joined in September 2007, and immediately set to work writing a new Check for Updates client and server (CfU), as part of a team of 2. That was finished at the end of 2007. I then joined the SQL Compare team. The first large project I worked on was updating SQL Compare for SQL Server 2008, resulting in SQL Compare 7, followed by a UI redesign in SQL Compare 8. By the end of this project in early 2009 I had become the 'go-to' guy for the SQL Compare Engine (I'll explain what that means in a later post), which is used by most of the other tools in the SQL Tools division in one way or another. After that, we decided to expand into Oracle, and I wrote the prototype for what became the engine of Schema Compare for Oracle (SCO). In the latter half of 2009 a full project was started, resulting in the release of SCO v1 in early 2010. Near the end of 2010 I moved to the .NET division, where I joined the team working on SmartAssembly. That's what I continue to work on today. The posts in this series will cover my experience in software development at Red Gate, within the SQL Tools and .NET divisions. Hopefully, you'll find this series an interesting look at what exactly goes into producing the software at Red Gate.

Hello PCI Council, are you listening?

Mention "PCI" to any retailer and you'll instantly see them take a deep breath and start looking for the nearest exit. Nobody wants to be insecure, but few actually believe that PCI does anything more than focus blame directly on retailers. I applaud PCI for making retailers more aware of the importance of security, but did you have to make them PAINFULLY aware? POS vendors aren't immune to this pain either as we have to undergo lengthy third-party audits in addition to the internal secure programming programs. There's got to be a better way. There's a timely article over at StorefrontBacktalk that discusses the inequity of PCI's rules, and also mentions that the PCI Council is accepting comments until April 15th. As a vendor, my biggest issue with PCI is that they require vendors to disclose the details of any breaches, in effect "ratting out" customers. I don't think its a vendor's place to do this. I'd rather have the trust of my customers so we can jointly solve the problem. Mary Ann Davidson, Oracle's Chief Security Officer, has an interesting blog posting on this very topic. Its a bit of a long read, but I found it very entertaining and thought-provoking. Here's an excerpt: ...heading up the list of “you must be joking” regulations are recent disturbing developments in the Payment Card Industry (PCI) world. I’d like to give [the] PCI kahunas the benefit of the doubt about their intentions, except that efforts by Oracle among others to make them aware of “unfortunate side effects of your requirements” – which is as tactful I can be for reasons that I believe will become obvious below - have gone, to-date, unanswered and more importantly, unchanged. I encourage you to read the entire posting, Pain Comes Instantly, and then provide feedback to the PCI Council.

Debug message "Resource interpreted as other but transferred with MIME type application/javascript"

OK, I understand what the messages means, but I'm really not sure what's causing it. I'm using Safari and the Web Inspector on Mac OS X, by the way. I've got the following in my document head: <script src="http://local.url/a/js/jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="http://local.url/a/js/jquery.inplace.js" type="text/javascript"></script> jquery.js is handled fine, but the other file causes the warning. It also seems that the javascript in this file never gets executed. The file is being served via mod_deflate, so it is gzip encoded, but so is the other file. Has anybody got any ideas what's causing this, or how to resolve it? Cheers all, Gaz.

Data structure for unrooted trees

I'm having problems figuring out how to build an unrooted tree with weighted edges and what data structure to store such a tree. An example of an unrooted tree would be like the one here: http://www.bio.davidson.edu/courses/GENOMICS/seq/unrooted.gif The problem i am having is the leaves would only have 1 link to the internal nodes and the internal nodes would have 3 links(the internal nodes would have 2 children and a link to another internal node). Do i have to distinguish between the 2 different kinds of nodes or can i have one class having the function of both types of nodes?
