• Best program for keeping track of Time (motor racing)

  I need a program to control time, I need the time to go forth and back (for me to choose) and I insert the staring time. I also need a program to control lap times. If anyone know any program for these stuff (racing stuff), I would apreciate it, even if there only are paid solution, I still would like to take a look at them (I staring to make a program in python and it could be good for inspiration)

• maintaining consistency between program's files and add and remove program

  Would there be any problem if the program is listed in add and remove program and Program Files ? I have some application enlisted in "Add and Remove program" but files has been deleted. Also I have removed some program but it's file are still there and when i try to delete it manually, i get error "Access Denied ....". Is there a way to fix it? also a little help with quality standard ... i can't post question.

• Tips On Using The Service Contracts Import Program

  Prior to release 12.1 there was no supported way to import contracts into the EBS Service Contracts application - there were no public APIs nor contract load programs provided.  From release 12.1 onwards the 'Service Contracts Import Program' is provided to load service contracts into the application. The Service Contracts Import functionality is explained in How to Use the Service Contracts Import Program - Scope and Limitations (Doc ID 1057242.1).  This note includes an attached document which explains the program architecture, shows the Entity Relationship Diagram and details the interface table definitions. The Import program takes data from the interface tables listed below and populates the contracts schema tables:  OKS_USAGE_COUNTERS_INTERFACE OKS_SALES_CREDITS_INTERFACEOKS_NOTES_INTERFACEOKS_LINES_INTERFACEOKS_HEADERS_INTERFACEOKS_COVERED_LEVELS_INTERFACEThese interface tables must be loaded via a custom load program.The Service Contracts Import concurrent request is then submitted to create contracts from this legacy data. The parameters to run the Import program are:  Parameter Description  Mode Validate only, Import  Batch Number Batch_Id (unique id populated into the OKS_HEADERS_INTERFACE table)  Number of Workers Number of workers required (these are spawned as separate sub-requests)  Commit size Represents number of successfully processed contracts commited to database The program spawns sub-requests for the import worker(s) and the 'Service Contracts Import Report'.  The data is validated prior to import and into the Contracts tables and will report errors in the Service Contracts Import Report program output file (Import Execution Report).  Troubleshooting tips are provided in R12.1 - Common Service Contract Import Errors (Doc ID 762545.1); this document lists some, but not all, import errors.  The document will be updated over time.  Additional help is given in Debugging Tip for Service Contracts Import Errors (Doc ID 971426.1).After you successfully import contracts, you can purge the records from the interface tables by running the Service Contracts Import Purge concurrent program. Note that there is no supported way to mass delete data from the Contracts schema tables once they are populated, so data loaded by the Import program must be fully tested and verified before the program is run to load data into a Production system.A Service Contracts Import Test program has been provided which will take an existing contract in the application and load the interface tables using the data from that contract.  This can be used as an example for guidance on how to load the interface tables.  The Test program functionality is explained in How to Use the Service Contracts Test Import Program Provided in Release 12.1 (Doc ID 761209.1).  Note that the Test program has some limitations which do not apply to the full Import program and is not a supported program, it is simply a testing tool.

  Goodafternoon All! I have an issue in my application.My iphone application crashes at mid of running or during the application launch at times both in iPhone and simulator. I know that memory management is not proper or is it because os some other reason. My application is using a web service that pulls the data and displays it in the view,the working of web service is proper,because i see the data coming from the service in my app. Can anybody suggest how to manage memory properly (i.e,) where i have to release the objects,what are the objects that has to be released and the objects that should not be released. • Visual Studio 2010 Crashes when Creating or Editing a Report (.rdlc) with the Report Designer

  This is an issue I had with VS 2010 RC and was hoping would be solved with the first official release. Sadly it wasn't. What I have is a number of reports originally created with VS 2008. When opening any of these for editing in VS 2010's Report Designer VS hangs for about two minutes and then shuts down. Same happens when creating a new report using the wizard. Only difference is that a dialog opens up showing a "Loading ..." message then hangs for about the same amount of time and crashes. Running devenv /log gives nothing of value. • Too many connections to 212.192.255.240

  Recently, my Internet slowed down drastically. I downloaded a tool to see the TCP/IP connections from my Vista computer. I found out that a lot TCP/IP connections are being connected to 212.192.255.240 through SVCHost. It seems that it is trying to connect to different ports. I think that my computer is being infected with some kind of malware etc. But I am not sure how to get rid of it. I did a little bit of research on this IP but found nothing. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. UPDATE: This is the HiJackThis log file and I can't find any thing weird. Also, the program is also trying to create connections to 91.205.127.63, which is also from Russia. • How to prevent Gnome desktop from crashing?

  I have ubuntu 10.10 32bit running on my Asus EEEPC 1005PX. I am experiencing frequent desktop crashes. When I turn on my netbook at least once in 5 times the defualt ubuntu theme disapears and the classic gnome theme appears. Many times while doing some work, the desktop crashes and the CLI gets shown, and after a few seconds the login screen appers. I am not using any widgets or dock bars, I just have a single gnome panel with default menus. The crashes also happen when using the default bundled ubuntu apps. Is there any way to avoid these crashes?

• Windows Start Menu Not Staying on Top

  Hey everyone. I've had this problem since Windows Vista. I did a clean install with Windows 7 and hoped it would fix the problem. Also swapped out the video card just to rule out a strange driver issue. Here's what's happening. After running for some period of time (usually a few hours), the Start button/orb will loose it's "Chrome" and turn into a plain button that just says "Start." It will work fine for a while, but then the start menu will just stop showing. Additionally, when I hit Win+D to show the desktop, the entire taskbar completely disappears. I can get it back usually by moving/minimizing windows that may be overlapping where the start menu should show. Otherwise, it requires either a full reboot or I'll end up killing & restarting the explorer.exe process.   Hey everyone, I can't manage to make my code symbolicated ... I read the part "below" : Given a crash report, the matching binary, and its .dSYM file, symbolication is relatively easy. The Xcode Organizer window has a tab for crash reports of the currently selected device. You can view externally received crash reports in this tab - just place them in the appropriate directory. This is the same as the Mac OS X directory described in the first section. It doesn't matter which device you have tethered, but the directory in which you place the crash report must be the directory for the tethered and selected device. It is not necessary to place the binary and .dSYM file in any particular location. Xcode uses Spotlight and the UUID to locate the correct files. It is necessary, though, that both files be in the same directory and that this directory is one that is indexed by Spotlight. Anywhere in your home directory should be fine. But it doesn't work for me ... here is what I did : I opened xcode organizer and I had my iphone device with crash logs App and dsym files are in my xcode project which is on my desktop All the rest should be automatic, right ? but crash logs aren't symbolicated yet ... • How do I rename my old Program Files folder?

  I installed a new SSD as my boot drive (C:), installed a fresh version of Windows 7 64-bit, and kept my existing SATA drive in the system (D:). I want to keep using my D: drive for file storage (no sense filling up the SSD with stuff that isn't performance critical) and I haven't formatted the D: drive because there's stuff on there I want to keep. I also want to create a new "D:\Program Files" folder so I can install apps that aren't performance-critical there. So I decided I'd rename the existing "D:\Program Files" from my old Windows install to "D:\Old Program Files" and then create a new "D:\Program Files" directory. Easy, right? I can see "D:\Program Files" just fine in Explorer. I right click, select Rename, and type "Old Program Files." I get the alert that says I need Admin permission to do this, so I press the confirm button with the shield. But the folder still appears as "Program Files" in Explorer. I jump out to the command line, and it appears as "Old Program Files" when I do a dir. I can even do mkdir "Program Files" and when I do a dir they both appear. But in the Explorer GUI, it looks like I have two "Program Files" folders. This will be confusing during app installation because I won't be able to tell which one is which. I've tried poking around in the properties tab of the old folder, but can't find anything that would explain what's causing the issue. How do I rename the old Program Files folder?

Also made the SwitchViewsViewController load first, and not MainWindow. Everything builds but when I try to run the app it crashes and sends it to the home screen. Can anyone help me with this?

• Debugging OpenOffice crashes

  This is partly an OpenOffice question and partly a Ubuntu question. I'm running OpenOffice 3.2.0 and Ubuntu 10.04. I get frequent crashes of OO, especially the Calc app, although I get crashes in the word processor as well. They are very abrupt and accompanies by no warning or error message. I'm just typing away and then the app is gone. Sometimes I even end up thinking I'm typing in OO and discover that OO has crashed and I'm typing in whatever application was under OO. However, I can't reproduce these crashes on demand. They seem random. I can open the same file and do the same exact thing but it does not crash. In Ubuntu how do I trace, track, or diagnose these types of crashes? Is there software I can invoke to help diagnose? Can I start OO from a command prompt with debugging of some sort enabled? Note: if someone could add the tag OpenOffice, I would appreciate it

• how to change the default open-with program to a program on the second disk

  I have a 250GB HDD for my system and a 60GB SSD using a SATA port. I installed most of my applications on the SSD. There's a strange thing though. I can not change the default open-with program to a program which is on the SSD. I think it may be caused by permission so I gave my user a 'full control' permission on the security tab in disk properties. But changing permissions is not work. After I choose an application (I've tried Notepad++, Sublime, 7Zip, etc.), nothing is added in the below window: Also, if I install 7Zip on my machine, the right click menu items can not be added.

  I know use System.exit(0) can end a java program, for instance, if I have a JFrame window, it will close and end the program, but I wonder how many other ways, can it be closed and the program be ended ? Including when an error occurs, will the program be shut down and the JFrame be closed ?

• nautilus crash when merging/overwriting files

  On my Ubuntu 10.10, whenever I want to copy some files/folders over some other files/folders, or when I try to empty the trash, nautilus crashes! Example: I have a folder with some files. Now I want to overwrite this folder with a folder with the same name, same files, but some additional files, the merge window comes up, I choose merge and nautilus crashes (does not respond, when I press the close button I can force close it). Some times it even does the copying/emptying (trash), but it always crashes! This happens when copying to the same partition/ntfs partition/netshares, but not when I make a new folder and copy the files/folders into that (without overwriting anything). On a netshare, it's even possible to merge these files afterwards with another computer! dmesg/syslog/messages does not show any entry related to that problem. Does anyone have a solution for this very annoying problem? EDIT: dpkg -l nautilus* (see output in pastebin) EDIT2: I found out, nautilus already crashes before clicking replace/merge (as soon as the question appeares. In the video it's not entirely clear, that i click the cross before the force-close dialog appeares. • Best practice guide to install to Program Files

  Have seen quite a few questions in Serverfault and Super User but none that specifically answers my question. We have an application that is being provided and installed by a third party company. They are charging market rate 'consultancy' fee to do this. They installed majority of the folders in the root of the C drive, to my shock. Are there any official Microsoft Best Practice guides out there to say applications should be installed in Program Files.

  Hi all, I would like to implement a application which backs up all the internal datas like sms, mms, videos, audios, documents, call history stored in iPhone. But this seems to be not possible with api docs that the apple has released so far ... I have gone through the pdf of ENterprise distribution program and some of the links related to Enterprise Distribution Program, specifies about the Remote wipe and accessing of internal datas like Calendar, sms, mms ect .... But they didnt mention how to do it programmatically. Does Apple provide any special priviledges like extra api support to access the internal data in their Enterprise Distribution Program?. Is there any difference between Enterprise Distribution Program and Standard Distribution Program in the development point of view? And since in-house distribution does not require Apple approval, shall we use some other method which are not officially mentioned in apple docs, to access the internal stored data ..
