  • log4net 1.2 RollingFileAppender not working

    Hi Guys, I'm using log4net v1.2 with a Windows Service App. My RollingFileAppender seems not to work. I'm pasting the logging sections of my service.exe.config below.   • Continuously check nestat output for a particular program

    I have a android emulator running on port 5554. I want to continuously watch the netstat output concerning emulator stuff. right now I have to manually execute this command every time sudo netstat -plant | grep emulator I thought doing something like this would repeat above command automatically every 2 sec. watch sudo netstat -plant | grep emulator but instead it hangs the terminal. How to achieve such functionality ? Thanks

  • Copying only the changed files while mirroring a website

    I am using wget to mirror website using this code $ wget \ --recursive \ --no-clobber \ --page-requisites \ --html-extension \ --convert-links \ --restrict-file-names=windows \ --domains website.org \ --no-parent \ www.website.org/tutorials/html/ The next time I run it it starts downloading the same files again, however I want only the changed files to be downloaded next time. I am open to use any other tool or script(preferably PHP,Curl) apart from using wget.

    I am facing a very strange behavior on my server. I am using a linux cluster.On fail over server my broadcast application halts after 5 minutes.But it is working fine on Primary server. My application process listening on port and send broadcast.It is working 5 mins after that it wait on socket for further packets but it didn't receive anything. Same process is working fine at Primary server. Plz help me.

  • Share PC over network

    I have a server installed on one local Win7 machine (say as 192.168.2.14:8080/myAPP) and I want to access that server from different computer (say ip as 192.168.2.16). Even they are connected to same network I can't access server from other computer. I guess the problem is in firewall. This is working when I disable firewall and not working when I allow certain ports in windows firewall but keeping firewall on (As a rule to allow incoming connections).

I have three tables : ( EAV model style) 1: Items ( ItemId, ItemName) 2: Fields (FieldId, FieldName) 3: Field Values ( ItemID, FieldId, Value) Can you tell me how to write SINGLE query to get starting 20 records from ALL items where FieldId=4 is equal to TRUE. Expected Result : Columns = ItemID | Name | Field1 | Field2 | Field3 Each Row= ItemId | ItemName| Value1 | Value2 | Value3 Important concerns : 1: Number of fields per item are not known 2: I need one to write ONE query. 3: Query will be running on 100K records, so performance is concern. 4: I am using MySQL 5.0, so need solution for MYSQL Should I denormalize the tables if above query is not possible at all ? Any advice ?

    I want to draw a infinitely repeating parallax using Cocos2D on Android. Now, there are some solutions given to this problem in Objective C, but I'm stuck with my implementation in Android. I have tried using CCSprite background = CCSprite.sprite("background_island.png"); CCTexParams params = new CCTexParams(GL10.GL_LINEAR,GL10.GL_LINEAR,GL10.GL_REPEAT,GL10.GL_REPEAT); background.getTexture().setTexParameters(params); But it only extends the background in 1 direction. I guess I have to use 2 sprites, such that as soon as 1st finishes, the other starts and vice versa, but I'm stuck with the implementation.

So i have question: what happens for example when you run a function in php such as date("Ymd"); or file_get_contents("file.txt");?     HI All i am using the device orientation for some functionality like as in stating the as we run the app it should be in the landscape mode and in this mode if we orientate the phone in 90 angle than it should play some video than problem comes video play by default in the landscape mode but we need it in the portrait mode than for playing video in the portrait mode we put the code [ mPlayer setOrientation:UIDeviceOrientationPortrait animated:NO]; like this even this method show a warning but it do work for playing the video in the portrait mode. now what is the problem :-as we start the app the screen we were showing in the starting of the app just comes and disaapper and it just starts playing the video and not come to that screen we even use the default rotation function to make it usable but it doesn't work any suggestion thanks Balraj Verma
