  • Windows 7 admin denied access to taskmgr, system32 dir

    I have a Windows 7 (32-bit) box with 2 users, both admins (my wife and I are both developers). My admin account was created during Windows setup, hers was created later. Both accounts are in the same groups, yet we have VERY different permissions. In the beta and RC, both accounts worked identically (RC to RTM was a fresh install on this box, not an upgrade). I have a C:\bin folder with the sysinternals utilities and a bunch of other stuff. Running anything in there or in system32 just works on my account, on hers I get access denied errors (cannot access file or path). If I right click and try Run As Administrator, I still get the same thing!!!

    hi all, i've a little problem, i've add a default.png in my app and it work. I've modify my file, delete file and reference and upload my new file. On my iphone the image does not appear, only some second of blackscreen and after my app start. In the simulator the splashscreen appear. I've try to delete my app on iphone, make a clean all and rebuild & install but nothing... I've try to make clean all, close xcode, delete default.png to my project directory (sometimes exist, sometimes no), open xcode, add my file and build & install on my iphone but nothing... Any ideas?

    I know this is common in most languages, and maybe in C, as well. Can C handle separating several functions out to a separate file and having them be included? The functions will rely on other include files, as well. I want the code to retain all functionality, but the code will be reused in several C scripts, and if I change it once I do not wish to have to go through every script and change it there, too.

    Hello, I'm new to C++, and I'm trying to write a short C++ program that reads lines of text from a file, with each line containing one integer key and one alphanumeric string value (no embedded whitespace). The number of lines is not known in advance, (i.e., keep reading lines until end of file is reached). The program needs to use the 'std::map' data structure to store integers and strings read from input (and to associate integers with strings). The program then needs to output string values (but not integer values) to standard output, 1 per line, sorted by integer key values (smallest to largest).   • ASP .NET MVC; return HTML along with JavaScript

    I have a partial view which renders a table. On page load, I am using JQuery to perform Zebra Stripping on it. Whenever ajax refreshes the table, DOM elements are updated, but since JQuery code to do the Zebra Stripping is not executed; table looks ugly. I have tried adding Javascript in my partial view if( Request.IsAjaxRequest() ) return PartialView( "AdministrationGrid", Users ); but javascript is not executed. I guess the only way to execute the Javascript as reply is to do: return JavaScript( "alert( '' )" ); Anyone with an idea how can I achieve this? I thought about JQuery Live, but it is used to bind itself to events.

    I have a Centos server acting as a NAT in my network. This server has one external (later ext1) interface and three internal (later int1, int2 and int3). Egress traffic comes from users via int1 and after MASQUERADE goes via ext1. Packet counters are not changing on MASQUERADE rule in POSTROUTING.   • CUPS printer on Vritual Machine can be access via CUPS admin, but not by XP?

    I have a Zebra label printer connected to a Linux Mint virtual machine. It was set up with CUPS and a Windows XP computer can then print to it via http://192.168.1.76:632/printers/labelprinter. That was all fine and dandy I then hooked up a Fargo Pro L PVC card printer to a Windows XP virtual machine. I had to disconnect the label printer as the server that hosted both virtual machines only has 1 parallel port. Now I plugged in the Zebra again, and it cannot print from the Windows XP computer anymore. If I go to the CUPS admin panel on the Windows XP computer, I can see it, everything looks fine, and I can send it a test page to print which works. If I try to print from Windows, I get an error that the printer is not found/cannot connect to the server. The only other thing that changed was the firewall on the router to allow remote desktop to another computer from outside the network, but all the firewall stuff was for external use. Nothing affected the IP address of the internal network. The Linux Mint VM also had a PDF pritner that was shared with CUPS. That printer is also down. I tried setting up a new CUPS installation on another VM, and when I go to share it with XP, I get the same error. I don't know what to try. It has access, it can get to the admin from that computer, it seems to be up and ready, but when Windows tries to connect, the printer isn't found even though 4 days ago everything was fine. Any ideas?

It prints test pages without problems. printername (Idle, Accepting Jobs, Shared) Description: desc Location: Driver: Zebra ZPL Label Printer (grayscale, 2-sided printing) Connection: socket://172.20.50.26 Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=oe_w288h432_4x6in sides=one-sided This is the output from lpstat -t. it shows that the printer is idle and accepting requests admin@SERVER:~$ lpstat -t scheduler is running no system default destination device for printername: socket://172.20.50.26 printername accepting requests since Thu 26 Jan 2012 01:29:35 PM CET printer printername is idle. enabled since Thu 26 Jan 2012 01:29:35 PM CET Now when I want to send a printjob to it via an LPR command it won't recognize the printer /usr/bin/lpr -P printername test.pdf Result lpr: ttn_seg_zebra1: unknown printer What am I missing here ?

    Hi, I'm using jquery and tablesorter plugin to sort a table in a php-page, which works flawless. Further I have this form in it: <form name="newrs" id="newrs" action="edit.php" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="POST" onSubmit=""> <input class="btn" id="bbtnNew" name="button" type="submit" value="New Recordset" /> </form> But since I added the jquery/tablesorter functionality, the form doesn't work anymore. (If I click on submit, nothing happens. What causes this behaviour? And how can I overcome this? Thanks in advance for your suggestions! ....   • tablesorter pager initial pagination

    Hi, This might sound like a very stupid question to some of you, but I assure you I've been checking through the internet and I haven't had any luck about this. My question is: is it possible to set an initial pagination number in the tablesorter pager plugin? By default it takes the 10 option, but I've tried to put a 5 as the selected option and it loads 10 anyway. If I change it and come back to the 5 it will load as said, 5, but not at the beggining. Is there any option when loading the tablesorter? My code for the tablesorter is this: $("#TST").tablesorter({ headers: { 0: { sorter: false }, 4: { sorter: false }, 5: { sorter: false }, 6: { sorter: false} }, sortList: [[1, 0], [2, 0], [3, 0]], widgets: ['zebra'] }) .tablesorterPager({ container: $("#TSTPager"), positionFixed: false //, //pagesize: 5 }); the pagesize attribute I wrote in the tablesorterPager was a test, but it doesn't do what I want it to.
