  • Socket error sendig data from loftware to zebra zm400

    I have a problem with my Zebra zm 400. I print a label from loftware, and in random times comes the label not out from the printer. When this issue comes, then I can't ping my printer or I can't achive the webpage of the printer. Only I need to disconnect the UTP cable from te Zebra. and after this disconnect work the printer fine. And in variale intervals come this problem again! Thanks and regards, Mike

  • Generating Thermal Printer (Zebra Printer) Sized PDFs for FedEx Labels

    Background I own a company which does a lot of FedEx Ground shipping. We have a 3rd party fulfillment center, which stores some of our inventory and at our request ships it. Zebra/Thermal printers are the most cost effective shipping label printers available and our 3rd party fulfillment center has one. I want to generate the labels locally then e-mail the 3rd party fulfillment center a PDF of the labels which they can then print out on their printer. Problem The trouble is, I can't seem to figure out how to print these 4" x 6" labels to a PDF, as FedEx (both ship manager and fedex.com) uses javascript to detect what printer I have. Question What's a clever way to send my 3rd party fulfillment center a PDF (or equivalent) of our 4" x 6" zebra thermal printer labels so they can print them out without re-entering the data?

  • Win8/7/XP print spooler not getting along with Zebra ZT230 via WIFI

    I have a graphics-intensive 4"x6" label I'm printing to the ZT230. I'm printing multiple (10) copies. When connected via USB, all goes well. However, when connected via wifi, I only get 2 of the labels. A wireshark capture shows that at some point in the process my computer (presumably my windows spooler) is sending a reset packet, which, I believe, would pretty much kill the print job. I'm getting the same results on Win8, Win7 and WinXP. The print job was originally generated on Zebra's ZebraDesigner2 software. For easier diagnosis, I captured it to a .prn file.   • C# Printing and Zebra Printer

    I wrote a library which creates a bitmap image from some user input. This bitmap is then printed using a zebra printer. The problem I am running into is everything is very faint and blurry on the image printed by the zebra printer but if I print the bitmap to a laser printer it looks perfectly normal. Has anyone run into this before and if so how did they fix it? I have tried nearly everything I can think of printer settings wise.

    Basically I'm having this error after I import the Zebra library in Xcode 4.6 Undefined symbols for architecture armv7: "_OBJC_CLASS_$_Linea", referenced from: objc-class-ref in libZSDK_API.a(LineaBtPrinterConnection.o) (maybe you meant: _OBJC_CLASS_$_LineaBtPrinterConnection) ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture armv7 clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation) was wondering if anyone have encountered this issue with this version (1.1.5266) of the ZSDK_API. if anyone knows how to fix this, please post your instructions.     I am using this code to navigate through keyboard in table grid.In my code i have not added this zebra stripes coding.If i add this zebra stripes is overriding my highlighting. eg:first row dark color and second row white color.I can see highlight through keyboard in first row but i can see in second row.     I am trying to print a bitmap image on a zebra printer (TLP-2844-Z) and it comes out incredibly blurry and faint but when I print it on a laser printer it looks fine. Also, when I printer plain text to the zebra printer or the test page it comes out crystal clear. Is there something I am doing wrong?

  • Using Zebra LP 2844-Z over the network

    Hello, I am looking for a network-based label printer. I am looking at this Zebra LP-2844-Z printer. Unfortunately, it does not come with a network interface like the lower-end LP 2824 Plus. The ZebraNet 10/100 Print Server is both expensive for what it does (~$600) and only seems to support wireless networking, not wired. I prefer wired for reliability. Questions: Can I use a cheaper off-the-shelf print server to turn the LP-2844Z to a network printer. Would I get any trouble communicating with the printer via its own programming language or via OPOS? (instead of the Windows driver) Are cheaper print servers reliable? Would I be better to get another printer model that has it built in directly to avoid having issues due to the print server? What other printer would you recommend?

  • hidden row causing issue with tablesorter zebra striping

    Sorry if this has already been solved elsewhere but my searches have been able to turn up nothing and my attempts at solving the issue myself have made even less progress. :P Put quite simply I have a table that is using the jquery tablesorter and it's zebra widget. In this table there is a hidden column. I've so far been able to make it so that when a tr contains specific text (I was aiming for * but was seemingly unable to get \* to work for whatever reason...and I suspect my selector is perhaps not specific enough) the containing row is set not to display by ".hide()". The problem I am having though is when the row is hidden, tablesorter does exactly what it should do and stripes all the rows their specific colours based on their odd and even values. Of course .remove doesn't do the trick either as the table still sees some funny striping. Any thoughts on how to make it so that when a row is hidden, the striping compensates?

    I'm having trouble printing a label using ZDesigner GK420T using C# .NET. I converted the following string to Bytes and passed into the printer. ^XA ^FO3,3^AD^FDZEBRA^FS ^XZ The expected outcome was that the printer was supposed to print 'ZEBRA' but it didn't.   • Reading status from Zebra Printer

    Hi, I'm working on a project where we need to use a Zebra Printer for barcode labels. We're using C#, and we're doing OK on the printing side of things, sending raw ZPL strings to the printer (using winspool.drv). However, we also need to read from the printer, and no luck there. We need to get the status from the printer, which is the output to the ZPL command "~HS", so we can tell how many labels are in memory waiting to be printed. The EnumJobs() from winspool.drv only has jobs on the windows spool, and once they're sent to the printer, they're gone from that list. But that doesn't mean the label has been printed, since the printer has a peel sensor and only prints one label at a time, and we're obviously interested in sending batches of labels to the printer. I've tried something like (using the winspool.drv calls): OpenPrinter(szPrinterName, out hPrinter, IntPtr.Zero); WritePrinter(hPrinter, pBytes, dwCount, out dwWritten); // send the string "~HS" ReadPrinter(hPrinter, data, buff, out pcRead); But I get nothing on the ReadPrinter call. I don't even know if this is the right way of going at it. Anyone out there tackled this before? Thanks.

    I want to zebra stripe only select tables using. I do not want to use jQuery for this. tbody tr:nth-child(even) td, tbody tr.even td {background:#e5ecf9;} When I put that in a css file it affects all tables on all pages that call the same stylesheet. What I would like to do is selectively apply it to specific tables. I have tried this, but it doesn't work. // in stylesheet .zebra_stripe{ tbody tr:nth-child(even) td, tbody tr.even td {background:#e5ecf9;} } // in html <table class="zebra_even"> <colgroup> <col class="width_10em" /> <col class="width_15em" /> </colgroup> <tr> <td>Odd row nice and clear.</td> <td>Some Stuff</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Even row nice and clear but it should be shaded.</td> <td>Some Stuff</td> </tr> </table> And this: <table> <colgroup> <col class="width_10em" /> <col class="width_15em" /> </colgroup> <tbody class="zebra_even"> The stylesheet works as it is properly formatting other elements of the html.   • Printer Properties not sending the correct page size to program

    We have a Zebra 2844 Label Printer with 4"x3" labels in it. When we check the page settings in Windows XP, it is set to the correct size. When we go to print out of any program, it prints 4"x11". I have checked the page settings in one of the programs that we are using and it does show correctly the 4"x3" settings but prints at the incorrect 4"x11". I have followed the steps here Paper size: Printer Properties vs Page Setup and here Is there a way to programatically set the printer properties in windows? but have not been able to glean enough information to figure it out. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it!
