  Is there a way to edit the subject line of emails you've received in Thunderbird? I use email a lot for work and it would be a lot easier if I could change subjects to make things easier to find later. I found a plug-in but it only works for Thunderbird up to 2.0 and I'd rather not have to downgrade to get this feature.

  I currently have an SPF record with a hostname of @ that is: v=spf1 mx ip4:x.x.x.243/32 include:_spf.google.com include:amazonses.com ~all I also have another record of" spf2.0/pra mx ip4:x.x.x.243/32 include:_spf.google.com include:amazonses.com ~all We have had a lot of email being bounced back because of spam and now when I go to http://www.kitterman.com/spf/validate.html? and check the "Does my domain already have an SPF record? What is it? Is it valid?" it says no spf record exists. However, when I send an email using our Amazon SES script and check the headers it says it passes the SPF test. Is there something I am missing? Do I need to place that text in quotes ""? Any help would be greatly apprecaited.

  Hello, I'm running a small hosting VPS with CentOS and I have installed the WHM/cPanel control panel. The problem is that the email, either sent from the cPanel webmail or other client like Outlook does not get sent out with no visible error message on the client side.   I would like to monitor an email server - not whether the port is open and receiving, but rather that a "canary" message sent every so often actually arrives somewhere else. I have had a problem with a server getting firewalled off and no one noticing that cron jobs are not coming from the machine for a few weeks. Of course, the machine itself cannot send out a notification if it is having problems, so this requires an outside service. Any ideas?

  I created a rule for a contact group/distribution list in order to move emails to a certain folder. It works without any problems. Let's call this group 'distgroup'. However, for some emails that comes to the group email(distgroup), 'To' and 'From' fields are same as 'From'. Normally 'To' field is supposed to be 'distrgroup'. Because of this, when I cannot run the same rule for this type of emails since group email address is not written in either 'To' or 'From'. It doesn't move that emails to my certain folder. Is there any solutions about it?
