  • Tree View / File View Control for C#

    I have been looking for a C# tree control for displaying a file system that has the following capabilities: Select a starting directory. I don't always want to start at a "default" top directory level. The ability to grab an event when the user double clicks on a file in the tree. I want to handle opening the file within my application. I have been looking at this C# File Browser. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how to do meet my second need. (If anybody can clear that up for me, I would like that even better.) Thanks for any help.

  • Clear UIWebView content upon dismissal of modal view (iPhone OS 3.0)

    I currently have a UIWebView that is displayed within a modal view. It is basically a detail view that provides a view of a page when the user clicks a link. When the view is dismissed and then brought up again (when the user clicks another link), the previously-loaded content is still visible and the new content loads "on top" of the last content. This makes sense because the instance of the UIWebView persists between sessions and is only released when the memory is needed. However, I would like to completely clear the UIWebView when the modal view is dismissed so that 1) content is cleared and 2) memory is freed. Thus far my research and attempts have not found an answer.   • Non-modal WinForms FontDialog?

    Is it possible to display the WinForms "font picker" dialog non-modally? Or is there another font picker other than the standard one that can be used non-modally? Our application has many windows, and users who frequently need to interrupt what they are doing and switch to another window to look at something. This tends to lead to "buried dialog" scenarios with modal dialogs, where the UI is unresponsive, but it isn't immediately apparent why, because the modal dialog that has captured the focus is behind another window.

  • jQuery Dialog + Chrome - opening a second modal dialog doesn't dim the page

    I have a jQuery modal dialog with a button. When clicked, it closes the current dialog and open another modal dialog. This works fine in FF and IE, but in Chrome I lose the dimmed main page after the first dialog and the second one is opened. It looks like the CSS isn't applied anymore? I'm using jQuery UI 1.7.2 and jQuery 1.3.2 (can't upgrade to 1.4.1 for an unrelated reason). Any ideas/workarounds?

    I have a modal view that is presented and dismissed fine when my device is in vertical orientation. I have problems when my modal view is presented in the vertical orientation, but dismissed in horizontal orientation. The entire app switches back to vertical orientation automatically. How can I ensure that if I am in horizontal orientation, the view should dismiss properly?

How do I go about returning the CreateNormalPost.ascx? My folders are structured as follows: Controllers PostController.cs PostLogicController.cs Views Post Index.aspx CreateNormalPost.ascx There is no folder for PostLogicController.

  • How to display recently view items in iphone

    Hi friends, I have created tab bar and have three views. Tab-1 --> table view and it navigates to detail table view. Tab-2 --> map view. Tab-3 --> table view.(Recent view for Tab-1 items). Now i have displayed the names in the table view in tab-1. The names are changed dynamically and displayed using XML parsing. In tab-3 is the recent view. Now i want to display the details in recent view those who visit recently in tab-1 view. I want to display only 10 items in the recent view. So i have used NSMutableArray and i have set deleagtes due to get the items in recent view from tab-1 view. How to avoid the duplicate recent items and how to remove the older items and inserts the new recent items in recent view. Here my sample code, In Recent view class, stories = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithCapacity:10]; items = [[NSMutableDictionary alloc] init]; NSString *preferName = [devDelegate getCurrentAuthor]; //(get name dynamically) [items setObject:preferName forKey:@"preferName"]; [stories addObject:[items copy]]; cell.textLabel.text = [[stories objectAtIndex:storyIndex] objectForKey:@"preferName"]; So please guide me to how to achieve this.     I have a xib. the xib has a button that swaps another xib. the second xib has a uitextfield and a uilabel. how do I make the keyboard go away when I'm done typing? what do I need to wire or code? the second xib has it's own class (called CustomSign.m) Inside CustomSign.m, I've implemented the following method -(void)textFieldDidEndEditing:(UITextField *)textField { [customText resignFirstResponder]; signedLabel.text = customText.text; } - (void)awakeFromNib { //assume textField is an ivar that is connected to the textfield in IB [customText setDelegate:self]; } I get the following warning Class "CustomSign" does not implement the UITextFieldDelegate protocol

  • List View Selected Index Changed in a multi-selectable list view

    I have a windows form with a listview control. I set the MultiSelect property to true and I added a selected_index changed event. I get the event fired when I click the same index as the current selected index. My expectation is that I will not get the event fired. The strange thing is that the event fired 1 second after I click the index. I appreciate for any reply to explain why this is happening.

  • Android - Issue with View when set above another View while scrolling

    I've created a ScrollView with a RelativeLayout inside of it. I have a TextView aligned at the bottom of the RelativeLayout using layout_alignParentBottom="true" and a ImageView above the TextView using "layout_above". The layout works perfect when I am on a device where the display is large enough to not have to scroll up and down. When I test it on devices where you need to scroll to see the ImageView and TextView the ImageView doesn't line up above the TextView. Actually I haven't a clue where it goes because I can't see it anywhere. It might be behind the TextView. This also happens when I'm editing an EditText with the Soft Keyboard up, which causes the RelativeLayout to scroll. Anyone knows what's going on here?

  • 398 row datalist slowing down modal open????

    Hey guys I got a weird issue.. I have a datalist that's only loaded on pageload it contains 2 columns a name and date and has 398 rows.. In IE 7 and above(and prob previous version) when I open a modal via a button click it takes almost 5 seconds to open. HOWEVER, if I do not bind this datalist it's MUCH faster.. Also this is only happening in IE, Chrome, Firefox and opera both open the modal instantly with the datalist binded... Josh
