• What's the best practice or design pattern for user registration ?

It's already done in .NET and SOL Server 2005. we are in the phase now of discovering all the problems of the current registration system to build a new robust flexible one that can be extended easily and can be more usable for all services. • How to change the color of the navigation bar in more than one table view controller

  I am trying to figure out how to change the color of the table view navigation bar in multiple table views. The table views are all connected to a navigation controller. For example, I want one navigation bar to be blue, but another to be red. I have tried the code below in the AppDelegate.m file, but it just changes all the navigation bars to the same color. Is there anywhere else I could place this code to change the color in specific places. I've heard that I need to create new files, but I don't know where to place the code, or what code to use in the new files. I am somewhat new to this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated![[UINavigationBar appearance] setBarTintColor:[UIColor orangeColor]];

  Hi, I'm pretty useless when it comes to math and I have a problem I need help with. This has nothing to do with schoolwork, it's in fact about alcatel and the ticketextractor. I have two values that needs to be calculated in a c# application according to a formula specified in their documentation: "The global callid is equal to: callid1 multiplied by 2 power 32 plus callid2" As I said I'm not big with maths so that statement says nothing to me. If anyone know how to calculate it i'd appreciate it! Thanks

  I'm deveoping a big project, I have the dev folder (connected to a specific subdomain) then the "real" folder, the live one. When I'm ready to push patches or whole new versions I'm currently copying the files individually, is there a program that can help me do this task?   Usually I just dump the database and reimport it with a new name. This is not an option for very big databases. Apparently RENAME {DATABASE | SCHEMA} db_name TO new_db_name; does bad things, exist only in a handful of versions, and is a bad idea overall. Oh, one more thing - this needs to work with InnoDB, which stores things very differently than MyISAM.

  I'm getting "could not find class" error when I run my app. Understand that copulation and execution path different but I followed the recommendations of another question to create a sub dir under my project of lib and put the jar there but still no luck. using Eclipse and it is when I run on a device from eclipse (unable to get the broadcast events I want to trigger this code from simulator, i.e. wifi and blue-tooth). Any way to look at the apk to see what's in it like this jar file? looking around did not see anything.

  Please have a look at this page www.pixeli.ca/issue. I have begun making a page layout using CSS framework 960.gs. My problem is that there is some strange space appears between block with top image and blue block with "hello" string. So you can see a green stripe there that shouldn't be visible at all. I tried different variants and have no idea what's wrong with it. I noticed that it happens only with the block with images inside them, but if there is only text, no space happens. Thanks.

  If I have a multiValued field type of text, and I put values [cat,dog,green,blue] in it. Is there a way to tell when I execute a query against that field for dog, that it was in the 1st element position for that multiValued field? Assumption: client does not have any pre-knowledge of what the field type of the field being queried is. (i.e. Solr must provide the answer and the client can't post process the return doc to figure it out because it would not know how SOLR matched the query to the result). Disclosure: I posted to solr-user list and am getting no traction so I post here now.
