  • Getting started with unit testing in VS2010?

    I'm new to both unit testing and Visual Studio 2010 (just upgraded from 2008). I'm interested in using VS2010's new built-in unit testing tools, but would like to get the lay of the land first. I haven't been able to find any resources or tutorials on unit testing with VS2010 specifically - has anyone found a good walk-through? I'm also open to persuasion that we should stick with NUnit or the like, if anyone knows a reason to avoid the built-in tools.

I know that this is a common question and asked many times. but there are so many available mail servers that i am not able to decide the one. Kindly tell that which is the Secure, Stable and fast open source mail server for Centos or Redhat Server. Is there any guide which can be used to deploy the mail server with all its components e.g. smtp, pop3, imap, spam, calender server, antivirus, DNS Setting. Currently I'm using sun messaging V6 which installed on Solaris 10 and my boss ask me to make a report for the best mail server today in the marketing? I tried to have a look on Google but I couldn't find interesting information for my report. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi i have a problem with my Eclipse and the SDK (i have download and install the latest ADT Bundle for windows ) when i start my eclipse i get this problem : This Android SDK requires Android Developer Toolkit version 22.0.0 or above. Current version is 20.0.0. please update your SDK tools to the latest version i have tried the option : Help - check for updates But with no new update find then i try this one : How to Update your ADT to Latest Version In Eclipse go to Help Install New Software ---> Add inside Add Repository write the Name: ADT (or whatever you want) and Location: https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ after loading you should get Developer Tools and NDK Plugins check both if you want to use the Native Developer Kit (NDK) in the future or check Developer Tool only click Next Finish But i dont have the option to click next to finish (the back , next and finish options are grey ) Then i try this method : Go here download latest version of ADT-22.0.4.zip (*) At Eclipse > Help > Install new software... > Uncheck Contact all update sites during install to find required software (last bottom preference) that will avoid any unwanted delays during install. then at the same screen (top) Click Add > Archive > select downloaded ADT-X.X.X.zip > follow on screen installation steps But had the same problem when it was to finish the installation.. no option to click ''next'' then i try this one : Help – Install New Software in the ADT menu. Type https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/site.xml in “Work with:” and Enter. You can see the “Developer Tools” item. Select it and click Next. Click Next one more. Click Finish accepting the terms of the license agreements. Click OK in the “Security Warning” window. Let the installer restart ADT after installing the tools.     We are developing an application that involves a substantial amount of XML transformations. We do not have any proper input test data per se, only DTD or XSD files. We'd like to generate our test data ourselves from these files. Is there an easy/free way to do that? Edit There are apparently no free tools for this, and I agree that OxygenXML is one of the best tools for this.

  • Undetected Virus? I study at College, and Now all of the school computers have paint.exe -autocheck

    "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Paint.exe" -autocheck is added to the registry every time its removed. This is like global. All the lab PCs(more than a hundred), personal laptops have this file. I really have no expert help to turn to.. as jotti says this file is clean. Here's the dropped file [removed] It seems that we all had this game cheating tool on our PCs called "Garena Maphack". Everytime it was run it would drop paint.exe into the system dir. Paint.exe is diguised as the real paint.exe from windows. Having the same icon and such.     Hello! We currently use smartd to monitor SMART health on our disks. I would like to set the 'thresholds' that smartd uses to report. For example: 197 Current_Pending_Sector 0x0012 100 100 000 Old_age Always - 9 198 Offline_Uncorrectable 0x0010 100 100 000 Old_age Offline - 9 I would like to be able to set a threshold for these two attributes to only report if they are above 10. I haven't been able to find a way to set this via smartd.conf, and I'm also not looking to actually shutdown the daemon. Has anyone ever tried this, or know how I might be able to accomplish this better then throwing a script into cron.hourly?

    Is there a good way to do this? I'm writing an extension that interacts with a website as a content script and saves data using localstorage. Are there any tools, frameworks, etc. that I can use to test this behavior? I realize there are some generic tools for testing javascript, but are those sufficiently power to test an extension? Unit testing is most important, but I'm also interested in other types of testing (such as integration testing).

    When an external JavaScript file is referenced, <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.4.4.min.js"></script> is the JavaScript source (lines of code before interpretation) available from the DOM or window context in the current HTML page? I mean by using only standard JavaScript without any installed components or tools. I know tools like Firebug trace into external source but it's installed on the platform and likely has special ability outside the context of the browser sandbox.

    I'm trying to compile a program called hiQlab on OSX 10.8 g++ -g -O2 -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/lua/include -I`echo /Users/.../Documents/hiQlab/hiqlab-2006-07-20/tools/`/tolua++/include -c cscmatrix.cc cscmatrix.cc:13:12: fatal error: 'umfpack.h' file not found #include "umfpack.h" but I just installed SuiteSparse through macports which includes umfpack and umfpack.h is in fact present in default directory /opt/local/include/ do I need to add the path or something? Thanks!

    I believe Adobe tools like CS5 have ways to output as an iPhone app, but what about a regular AS3 or Flex project? Are there any tools to auto-port, or AS3/Flex iPhone implementations out there? Out of interest, how does the CS5 thing work? Is it a totally different code-path or something less drastic? For instance Flash supports Shapes and Timelines, etc... do they in fact provide an iPhone Flash runtime of some sort?
