    I am setting up an environment, where some users are on Standard SAL's, and other are on Basic SAL's. But how do I become compliant with the limitations of the Basic SAL? All they should have access to is: Personal mail folders Personal Contacts Personal Calendar Outlook Web Access Is there any powershell script that I can ran for each user, or a step by step guide to it? I am running Exchange 2010 SP2.

    Hi, My VPS mail server can get email from anywhere but other email account of the server. For example i have two accounts; email at domain.com email2 at domain.com when i send to email at domain.com from email2 at domain.com (using smtp.com relays) i cant recieve the message even though i can see it s been sent on smtp.com panel. any idea ?

    Is there a way to place EXIM smtp banner on 1 line instead of 3 lines? The banner starts with 220. I've been searching but can not find a way. under /etc/exim.conf I have #todd host's smtp_banner = "${primary_hostname} ESMTP Exim ${version_number} \ \#${compile_number} ${tod_full} \n\ We do not authorize the use of this system to transport unsolicited, \n\ and/or bulk e-mail." do i make that one line?

    Hi gurus First, I thought that this was Vmware problem : http://serverfault.com/questions/141838/vmware-problems-networking-no-packet-response But now, after testing on several physical machines, I realized certain services didn't return response data when using socat/netcat 1.1 which is supposed to the latest version since last updated. root@test3:~# netcat 192.168.1.2 25 220 762462a8c4d Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service, Version: 6.0.2600.5949 ready at Fri, 12 May 2010 18:04:20 +0600 EHLO localhost sdfsafsd ^ root@test3:~# I've tested it on both windows and linuxes.   • Can I import another users calendar into Outlook 2010 and maintain his color highlights?

    I am importing a colleagues complete Outlook 2010 calendar (sent by mail as .ics file). However, all coloring is lost: categories, automatically formatted entries, etc. are not visualized in my colleagues colors - just in a non-distinguishable standard office style.   • Thunderbird confused about EPS attachments

    Sometimes, when I receive (Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on OS X 10.5) emails with an EPS attachement sent from Mail OS X 10.4, I cannot open the EPS file. Thunderbird shows me 1 file, that can't be opened with any software but text edit. But, if I forward the email to myself, the forwarded email then has 2 files of the same name. One of the 2 forwarded files can be opened as expected. What can be wrong here?

    When I open a PowerPoint file which I received via e-mail in PowerPoint 2010, I get the following error message: PowerPoint found an error that it can't correct. You should save presentations, exit, and then restart PowerPoint. Even if you click OK the error message appears again and again and makes it difficult to quit PowerPoint. Furthermore it gives no indication what caused the problem or how to solve it.

    Could somebody be able to explain to me what the various unix_listners do in the Dovecot 2.x configuration (specifically 10-master.conf). Currently, for postfix to use to deliver mail, I have: service lmtp { unix_listener /var/spool/postfix/private/dovecot-lmtp { group = postfix mode = 0660 user = postfix } } and for auth I have: service auth { unix_listener /var/spool/postfix/private/auth { mode = 0666 } unix_listener auth-userdb { mode = 0666 user = vmail } } So what does each one specifically do? Also, does somebody know of a resource that can explain the mode setting?

I have set the file to be owned by the www-data owner and group and even set the permissions to 777. I have confirmed with phpinfo() that the error_log is correctly set, however The logging still only happens in my vhost's apache error log.   • STARTTLS issues with sendmail

    I just switch hosts and now have to configure sendmail with certificates in order to send mail. Is there anyone here that can point me to some solid documentation that is known to work? I'm on CentOS, using sendmail 8.13. I am currently trying to figure out why I am getting "Relaying denied. Proper authentication required".
