    Hey Everyone, The installation for clearance seems very straight forward (http://wiki.github.com/thoughtbot/clearance/installation). I'm following in the instructions, although I'm getting an error almost immediately. On the the fifth step "rake db:migrate" I get the following error: rake aborted! undefined method `configure' for Clearance:Module I have no idea what I should be doing differently? The question is theoretical or conceptual: Is there any way to tell an entity manager to load an entity from the DB rather than from it's cache? The problematic scenario: EM1.persist(Entity1) EM2.merge(Entity1) EM1.find(Entity1) <--- Entity1 is the cached version rather than the merged one.. Any elegant way to do it? I really don't want to call em.refresh(entity).

    I have a script that is designed to parse XML postbacks from Ultracart, right now just dumps it into a MySQL table. The script works fine if I point it to a XML file on my localhost but using 'php://input' it doesn't seem to grabbing anything.     We've been using VSS 6.0 since time began, but yesterday I nabbed VSS2005 off of our MSDN subscription, it wouldn't let me install it off the ISO through Daemon Tools (not sure why, but I submitted error report to MS...). I noticed it had a program files directory right on the ISO, so I just copied the folder onto my hard drive. Well, I opened up the client and behold, a glamorous version of VSS 6.0 connected to the exact same DB. Anyone know if I'm going to destroy everything by using it?

Therefore i need to locate two files: td_26_[username].db preferences_[username].xml I found them on windows under the folder c:\Users[account]\AppData\Roaming\TweetDeckFast.[random string]\Local Store\ But i can't find them on my ubuntu installation.     I am using freindly_id in my application. I have setup a few fixtures in my application. I want to do integration testing on them. During the tests I need the friendly_id, but the DB records created from fixtures do not have the corresponding slugs in the Slug table. Aren't the slugs automatically created from Fixture data? If not then what can be a solution?
