• Color Schemes don't look right in CLI vim

  I was having a bit of trouble reading the dark red strings of Vim's default color scheme, so I decided to switch to a different one. http://code.google.com/p/vimcolorsch...kboard.vim?r=2 http://files.werx.dk/wombat.vim However, when I set my color schemes to these, not only do they not come out correctly (for example, comments are bright blue), but these 2 somehow come out looking exactly the same! Am I doing something wrong, or are these colors restricted in the terminal so default colors are being chosen?

• Celery - minimize memory consuption

  We have ~300 celeryd processes running under Ubuntu 10.4 64-bit , in idle every process takes ~19mb RES, ~174mb VIRT, thus - it's around 6GB of RAM in idle for all processes. In active state - process takes up to 100mb of RES and ~300mb VIRT Every process uses minidom(xml files are < 500kb, simple structure) and urllib. Quetions is - how can we decrease RAM consuption - at least for idle workers, probably some celery or python options may help? How to determine which part takes most of memory?

• Secure email crashes Outlook 2007

  I have a number of secure emails sent to my Outlook 2007 client. Most arrive fine and display the prompt with regards to granting access to the certificate and then open. Today I received two that crash Outlook whenever I try to open them. I've tried restarting Outlook and my computer but still have the same problem. Any ideas what might be causing this, and how I can fix it? I'm working on Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

At the moment I am having a problem with some users having mixed case user names in active directory. Would it be possible to change all users with mixed case user names to be all lowercase instead?   Ok probably a bit of an odd question, but is there a way to enable "finger" like functionality on a Windows network? we'd basically like the ability to find out where a user is logged in on a network and possibly which users are logged onto a workstation if possible. We're currently on AD2003 functional level, with the intent of going to AD2008 very soon, so compatibility in that arena is preferable.

• How to replicate wwwroot over multiple IIS web servers with NLB without NAS?

  We're adding a second server with Windows NLB for a bit of redundancy (ie the power goes on one of the servers - I know its not the best solution). How can we keep the data identical between the servers? Dont want to use a SAN or NAS as thats just something else to go wrong.   Hello, I've just installed ubuntu 10.10 on my laptop its all great but the screen resolution is a bit crap i have it set 1200:800 and when i do xrandr it indicates that the i can have a bigger screen resolution but i dont seem to to be able to increase it more 1200:800. another interesting thing is that xorg.conf does not exist on the /etc/X11/ is there a way to increase the screen resolution for Sony laptops? the graphics card is Intel Graphics Please help!

  Windows 7 64 bit. The only recent change was I installed two updates for MS Office, and a cumulative security update for IE. As soon as I choose a user and login, after loading my user profile it states the preparing your desktop message, and then powers off. I have used DaRT to check the event log, but nothing is recorded. Ideas?

  I have little experience with Windows systems. Coming from a Linux background I was wondering if there is a way that I can ssh to powershell from a Linux shell? If this is not possible, is there a key exchange like way to connect from powershell to powershell? I prefer it if I do not need to enter a password for every single server every time. When I play live TV in Windows Media Center, it's very choppy and uses 500+ MB of RAM, I'm guessing due to the hard drive buffering functionality.
