• Boost in Visual Studio 2010, IntelliSense error

  Hello, I would like to see if you could orient me. It happens that I compiled and referenced the boost libraries in order to use them with Visual Studio 2010. When building my test project I get these two IntelliSense errors 1 IntelliSense: #error directive: "Macro BOOST_LIB_NAME not set (internal error)" c:\boost_1_43_0\boost\config\auto_link.hpp 2 IntelliSense: #error directive: "some required macros where not defined (internal logic error)." c:\boost_1_43_0\boost\config\auto_link.hpp Checking the auto_link.hpp header file the first error is in this line #ifndef BOOST_LIB_NAME # error "Macro BOOST_LIB_NAME not set (internal error)" #endif Tracing the definition of BOOST_LIB_NAME, it seems that is defined in config.hpp by boost_regex, which code I am including below #if !defined(BOOST_REGEX_NO_LIB) && !defined(BOOST_REGEX_SOURCE) && !defined(BOOST_ALL_NO_LIB) && defined(__cplusplus) # define BOOST_LIB_NAME boost_regex # if defined(BOOST_REGEX_DYN_LINK) || defined(BOOST_ALL_DYN_LINK) # define BOOST_DYN_LINK ... more code and strangely when I point to BOOST_LIB_NAME it defines BOOST_LIB_NAME and the IntelliSense errors disappear. My program builds and executes fine using the Boost:Regex library -- with or without the Intellisense errors; however, I do not understand why these IntelliSense errors appear in the first place, and second why pointing the macro in the config.hpp defines BOOST_LIB_NAME. • Synchronizing an ERWin model with a Visual Studio 2008 GDR 2/2010 db project

  I am looking for options to get our vast collection of DB objects across many DBs into source control (TFS 2010). Once we succeed here, we will work toward generating our alter scripts for a particular DB change via TFS build. The problem is, our data architecture group is responsible for maintaining the DB objects (excluding SPs), and they work within a model centric process, via ERWin. What this means, is that they maintain the DBs via ERWin models, and generate alters from them that are used to release changes. In order to achieve our goal of getting the DB objects (not just the ERWin models) into TFS, I believe the best option is to do this via Visual Studio DB projects. From what I can tell, there is very little urgency for CA to continue supporting an integration between ERWin and Visual Studio, that no longer works as of Visual Studio 2008 DB Ed. GDR. If I have been mislead in this regard, please feel free to set me straight. One potential solution is to: Perform changes in the ERWin model. Take the alter script generated from ERWin, and import the script into the appropriate Visual Studio DB project, updating the objects in the in the DB project Check the changed objects in the DB project into TFS. TFS Build executes to generate the alter scripts that will be used to push the changes through our release process. My question is, is this solution viable, or are there any other options?

  So I have the below VB that creates an access file in the default workspace, creates a table, create some fields in that table...just need to know the syntax for setting the first data type/field to autonumber...GUID, Counter, etc will not work as in Access SQL ' error handling usually goes here dim ws as workspace dim dbExample as database dim tblMain as TableDef dim fldMain as Field dim idxMain as Index set ws = workspace(0) set dbExample = ws.CreateDatabase('string file path') set tblMain = dbExample.CreateTableDef("tblMain") set fldMain = tblMain.CreateField("ID", 'right here I do not know what to substitute for dbInteger to get the autonumber type to work ) tblMain.Fields.Append fldMain etc to create other fields and indexes so in this line: set fldMain = tblMain.CreateField("ID", dbInteger) i need to replace the dbInteger with something that VB reconizes as the autonumber property. i have tried GUID, Counter, Autonumber, AutoIncrement....unfortunately none of these work anyone know the syntax I am missing here? • Connect Access 2007 to SQL Server 2008 Database

  Hi, I've seen numerous answers to similar questions like this one. I haven't seen on the web many people have asked the seemingly simple question "How do I connect Access 2007 to an SQL server 2008 database" - but all of the answers describe how you can migrate from access 2007 to an sql server 2008 database, or they describe how to connect access 2007 to an sql server 2005 database. I can't find any simple solution to my problem (and probably this is a problem for many others). Here is the question (sorry for the over emphasis): How do I connect to an sql server 2008 database (and I mean 2008, not 2005 :) ) from access 2007? Apologies again for the over emphasis, but this very simple question, and what I thought should be a very simple task seems, yes, ... impossible! I tried running sql server browser, enabling pipes, TCP etc, but it seems that with 2008 SQLEXPRESS just isn't recognised! Please can someone help with this. Peter

• Unable to remove master -> child subform links in microsoft access 2003

  Hi, I am having an issue removing the master - child link fields in an access subreport data form. I have tried every avenue to remove them, using the properties window of the subreport as well as the link wizard. I have also deleted the subreport from the database and then gone as far as re-importing the existing objects into a new access instance. As soon as I re-added the subform back in and name it the same name the link fields show back up. Something is apparently corrupt, but I have run out of ideas at this point on how to clear them. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks Doug

Among them are listed forwarding enums and strongly typed enums but they are listed as "partial". The main text of the article says that this means they are either incomplete or implemented in some non-standard way. So I've got VS2010RC and am playing around with the C++0x features. I can't figure these ones out and can't find any documentation on these two features. • Mysql latin1 turkish data and delphi 2010 utf8

  Hello, I have tables collating latin1_general_ci and have turkish character values. And i can use this data on delphi 7+zeos with no problem. but i want to upgrade my delphi to 2010 version but zeos too slow as i saw. so i want to use odbc+ado or dbexpress solution. dbexpress solution works fine , display my data as entered and write as entered table without any change to column charset. but dbexpress has problems as i saw. for example when i select * from table which has column types as varchar,decimal,int,tinyint,text give av errors on xp systems. vista and 7 does not give any error and work fine(not fully tested). ado solution(dbgo) works fine but its not show my data as entered.its want everything be utf. but i don't want to convert my data to utf before test everything. how can i see my data as entered and write client side utf and store latin1(as zeos or dbexpress do). i was tried many other options. eg. mysql side collation and charset parameters. sorry for my bad english. i hope someone understand me. thanks.

But I'm having two problems: I want to display a messagebox to tell the user the contact was successfully added If the contact was not successfully added because A contact with this name already exists A different issue Then display a message box "Contact already exists" or "error occured" respectively. My idea of doing this is: If recSet.Update = true Then MsgBox "Paolo Bernasconi was successfully added" Else if RecSet![FName] & RecSet![LName] 'already exist in table MsgBox "Contact already exists" Else MsgBox "An unknown error occured" I know this code is wrong, and obviously doesn't work, but it's just to give you an idea of what I'm trying to achieve. If a task has ([A-Z]) next to, that defines the task's priority. • Access 2007 VBA : Building a listbox with selection choices from another list box

  So there are 8 categories that may be associated to each order, but not necessarily all of them. So i was going to build a list box that allowed the user to double click each of the category they wish to associate when they have an "Order Detail" form opened up (unbound form that has hidden text boxes with all needed ID numbers). I want to have another empty text box right beside it that will allow me to append the selections (up to 8) so the user can see that they have been added. So one list box with the default choices, and when a choice is double clicked, it adds that choice to the second list box to see the tally so to speak. • SharePoint 2010 / ASP.Net Integration - Looking for advice

  I have been Googling a problem that I have with trying to integrate the web application that I am working on with SharePoint 2010. The web application is a wiki style tool that allows users to log in via forms authentication or WIA against Active Directory and create content for themselves and others. What we would like to do is to allow a user have a page with the content they have created in our web application mixed in with content that they have living on the SharePoint server. For example, they may want to see a list of documents that they have on the SharePoint server mixed in with some of their content. To accomplish this, we would like to take the credentials the user has logged into our web application with (for example MYDOMAIN\jsmith) and be able to query SharePoint for the documents of that same user (MYDOMAIN\jsmith) WITHOUT the user being prompted to re-enter their credentials to access the SharePoint server (we are trying to avoid the double-hop problem) We have come up with some options for how we want to do this, but we are unsure of what the best approach is. For example, we could - Have a global user, shared by all users to get information we need from SharePoint. The downside is that we cannot filter SharePoint content to a particular user - We could store the users credentials when they log in, but that would only work for users authenticating via forms auth and would be a security issue that some users/clients would not like - Writing a SharePoint extension using WCF to allow us to access the information we need, however we'd still have the issue of figuring out how to impersonate the user we want. Neither of these options are ideal and in our investigation we came across the Claims Authentication/STS option which seems like it is trying to solve the problem we are having. So my question is, based on what I have written, is Claims/STS the best approach for us? We have not been able to find much direction on how to use this method to call into SharePoint from a Web Application and pass along the existing credentials. Does anyone have any experience with any of these issues?

• Problem consuming Exchange Web Service 2010 with jax-ws metro

  I am trying to consume the Exchange 2010 Web Service interface using JAX-WS. I'm using JAX-WS 2.2 RI (Metro 2.0). 2.1 exhibited the same problem. I am running into trouble with Exchange, which returns "HTTP/1.1 415 Cannot process the message because the content type 'text/xml;charset=utf-8' was not the expected type 'text/xml; charset=utf-8'." as a reponse (2.1 quoted the charset value, otherwise same response). Apparently I need to dictate the exact Content-type header for Exchange to be happy. Is there a way for me to do this without forcing me to manually rebuild the dependency? I currently rely on published maven artifacts, and would like to continue doing this if at all possible. The consuming process is a regular J2SE app, with no containers in sight. I have control of the application and can add pretty much anything required to the applications scope, but can not add out-of-process items like proxy servers. The client classes were generated from local WSDL, but the charset specification is derived from constants declared in the jaxws RI implementation, not the generated code. The resulting HTTP transport is thus handled by the standard http/https client from Sun JRE5 or JRE6.

The Help says: "You tried to link a Paradox table that was created with an international sort order that is not the same as the one you are using". What am I doing wrong?   In an auto-generated chart based on a query (I dragged the chart object onto a blank form to start it), the chart itself is displaying and updating properly, datawise, but I want to change the Legend from reading "SumOfAvgOfield1" and "SumOfAvgOfield2" to regular words suitable for final presentations. • Cannot log in to the desktop on ubuntu 11.10?

  The problem is, I could log in under the terminal, i could ifup eth0, i could do anything I want in the terminal, but if I use ctrl+alt+f7 goto the gnome login screen, after I input the correct password, the system just send me back to same login screen again. I have created a new user, but it didn't work. I have change all the files under ~/ to jichao:jichao(which is my username) with chown -hR jichao:jichao /home/jichao, but it didn't work too. I searched the internet, somebody said I should see the logs under /var/log/gdm, but there is not a /var/log/gdm directory in my box.   I have a VBA function IsValidEmail() that returns a boolean. I have a query that calls this function: Expr1: IsValidEmail([E-Mail]). When I run the query, it shows -1 for True and 0 for False. So far so good. Now I want to filter the query to only show invalid emails. I'm using the Query Designer, so I just add a value of 0 to the Criteria field. This gives me a "Data Type Mismatch" error. So does "0" (with quotes) and False. How am I supposed to specify criteria for a boolean function?

I plan to achieve this by putting [pFirstRun] = False as my first WHERE condition with the parameter pFirstRun tied to the value isPostBack. How do I achieve this? Alternatively, is there a better way to achieve this goal?
