    in .net Claim-based identity framework If i wanted to restrict users to do an operation (view or edit) on let's say an account, a particular account #123456.(i am talking about business entity, like a bank account.) Is it a good idea to create a claim for each account they can view or edit? Any disadvantages of having a lot of claims in a set? a system admin might have access to all accounts in the system thus creating hundreds of claims (maybe more than one for each account)

    I've been trying to implement a mySQL Proxy solution that can separate out the queries into per-database logs. Everything I've Googled has pointed to mySQL Proxy but I can only seem to capture the database a connection was opened to, not which the current query is being issued against. Is it even possible? Is there a better and more understandable way to check for leaks with explanations that pinpoint the exact line and/or offer suggestions?     Hey Guys Im looking for a jquery or ajax file uploader, Im currently using the FancyUploader which worked great until Flash brought out their update making all flash progress bars absolete, now whenever I try to upload large files... it will fill the progress bar to 100% in a matter of seconds even though the actual upload finished minutes after. So im now looking for a new uploading script that DOESNT require flash but can still display the progress. Any suggestions?

I tried creating calculated column TestDate and formula is : =TEXT(([Date Submitted]),"mm dd yyyy h:MM:SS") result is 04 28 2010 0:00:00 I wanted to be 04/28/2010 10:50:34 Is it possible to achive this?     Hello, I was wondering if there is an easy way to convert the javafx.util.Properties object to a java.util.HashMap. There is the obvious way of getting each value from the Properties object and putting it in a Map. But with a large number of properties it seems like there should be a way of just getting the Map that backs javafx.util.Properties (if it is a Map). Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing.     I have a silverlight application that is set to use 100% browser height. As I dynamically add controls to a canvas (which can be dragged around), I would like the expand the canvas vertically. Ideally show the browser scrollbar so the user can move up or down, if that can't be done, use the scrollbar control. I would also need to handle the user changing the size of the browser.   • OnDataBinding firing before OnLoad of a CustomGridViewControl in a UserControl?

    Hi, I have a CustomGridViewControl that is on a UserControl, the UserControl is loaded outside of the Page_Init when a treeview in the page is clicked that changes the view, than on subsequent postbacks the UserControl is loaded in Page_Init. The custom gridview is bound to a dataview that is dynamically retrieved. Problem is that the OnDataBinding of the CustomGridView is firing before the OnLoad of the CustomGridView, which is causing me to not be able to get embedded resource urls. Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Is it verified that iPad cannot create ad hoc wifi networks?

    Has anyone been able to verify that the iPad cannot create an ad hoc network? It has different radio hardware (the fact that it does 802.11n demonstrates this) than the iPhones, which I thought was the reason that the iPhones could not create WiFi networks. I know this was sort of answered elsewhere, but I wanted it to get proper attention with its own question and by more tag coverage. Jeff, your god of biscuits. ;)
