    Let's say I have this input: I can haz a listz0rs! # 42 # 126 I can haz another list plox? # Hello, world! # Welcome! I want to split it so that each set of hash-started lines becomes a list: I can haz a listz0rs! <ul> <li>42</li> <li>126</li> </ul> I can haz another list plox? <ul> <li>Hello, world!</li> <li>Welcome!</li> </ul> If I run the input against the regex "/(?:(?:(?<=^# )(.*)$)+)/m", I get the following result: Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 42 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => 126 ) [2] => Array ( [0] => Hello, world! ) [3] => Array ( [0] => Welcome! ) ) This is fine and dandy, but it doesn't distinguish between the two different lists. I need a way to either make the quantifier return a concatenated string of all the occurrences, or, ideally, an array of all the occurrences. Ideally, this should be my output: Array ( [0] => Array ( [0] => 42 [1] => 126 ) [1] => Array ( [0] => Hello, world! [1] => Welcome! ) ) Is there any way of achieving this, and if not, is there a close alternative? Thanks in advance!

    Hi I'm having a bit of a problem with a cron task generated by rails whenever plugin that should store remote data in the rails cache for display. What I have is this: schedule.rb set :path, '/var/www/apps/tuexplore/current' every 1.hour do runner "Weather.cache_remote", :environment => :production end calls this model class Weather def self.cache_remote Rails.cache.write('weather_data', Net::HTTP.get_response(URI.parse(WEATHER_URL)).body) end end Calling whenever returns this PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/home/deploy/.gem/ruby/1.8/bin 0 * * * * /var/www/apps/tuexplore/current/script/runner -e production "Weather.cache_remote" This doesn't work. Calling the weather model method from a controller works fine, but I need to schedule it hourly. The cron task causes a "Cache write: weather_data" entry to appear in the production log but data isn't stored nor output into the page. Additional information, I can log into production console and run Weather.cache_remote, then read the data from the rails cache. I'd be really appreciative if someone could point out the error of my ways. If further explanation is needed please ask. Thanks in advance for any pointers.

  • Building XCode From Command Line Issues (Updating Entitlements file location)

    The first error is a warning for complier 'com.apple.compilers.gcc.4_0' I don't know if this is okay and I can just not worry about it. The second tells me that my entitlements file is no longer at that location. I know this and I thought I had correctly updated it in Xcode's info window. This project builds fine in Xcode.   • Memeory Leak in Windows Page file when calling a shell command

    I have an issue on our Windows 2003 x64 Build Server when invoking shell commands from a script. Each call causes a "memory leak" in the page file so it grows quite rapidly until it reaches the maximum and the machine stops working. I can reproduce the problem very nicely by running a perl script like for ($count=1; $count<5000; $count++) { system "echo huhu"; } It is independent of he scripting language as the same happens with lua: for i=1,5000 do os.execute("echo huhu") end I found somebody describing the same issue with php at http://www.issociate.de/board/post/454835/Memory_leak_occurs_when_exec%28%29_function_is_used_on_Windows_platform.html His solution: Firewall/Virus Scanner does not apply, neither are running on the machine. We can also reproduce the issue on other Developer Machines running XP 64, but not on XP 32 Bit. I also found an article describing a leak situation in page file at http://www.programfragment.com/ The guilty guy for the allocation is C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs which runs all the basic Windows services. Does anybody know the issue and how to resolve it ?

    I have a pov-ray file, which defines a lot of cylinders and spheres. Sometimes these shapes are defined to have "color@", which makes the povray unrenderable. One solution I've found is to delete the offending cylinders and spheres. So a file that contains this text cylinder { < -0.17623, 0.24511, -0.27947>, < -0.15220, 0.22658, -0.26472>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } sphere { < -0.00950, 0.00357, 0.00227>, 0.00716 texture { color@ } } cylinder { < -0.00950, 0.00357, 0.00227>, < 0.00327, 0.00169, 0.00108>, 0.00716 texture { color@ } } sphere { < 0.15373, 0.00601, 0.18223>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } would turn into this text cylinder { < -0.17623, 0.24511, -0.27947>, < -0.15220, 0.22658, -0.26472>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } sphere { < 0.15373, 0.00601, 0.18223>, 0.00716 texture { colorO } } Is there some way to do this replacement with a shell script?     I'm attempting to debug a command line CMake failure. The same CMake file works in Qt Creator, with the arguments in the Qt Creator window matching what I have entered on the command line. This makes me think Qt Creator is adding some extra arguments, which makes sense since the generator drop down has several options that specify architecture and CMake version. Is there a way to get the CMake command that Qt Creator executed to produce the desired result, specifically the arguments passed to the CMake executable? I found one post that talks about viewing the CMakeCache files to do some forensics, but this only proves there are differences, it doesn't quickly show me what arguments to change.

    I am trying to build a graph that will change resolution depending on how far you are zoomed in. Here is what it looks like when you are complete zoomed out. So this looks good so when I zoom in I get a higher resolution data and my graph looks like this: The problem is when I zoom out the higher resolution data does not get cleared out of the graph: The tables below the graphs are table display what is in the DataTable.     Hello, Sometimes I break long conditions in IFs to several lines. The most obvious way to do this is: if (cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Isn't very very appealing visually, because the action blends with the conditions. However, it is the natural way using correct Python indentation of 4 spaces. Edit: By the way, for the moment I'm using: if ( cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Not very pretty, I know :-) Can you recommend an alternative way ?

  • Passing a formula field value into a Crystal Reports command

    Hello eveybody! I have a report, in which I calculate starting date via Formula Fields. Then I need to pass calculated value into a subreport, where I can use it as one of the parameters for the stored procedure in my database. The problem is that for some reason value of the corresponding parameter when the database is queried is empty (or null, I am not sure exactly). What can be wrong in my report template? The formula I use is: ToText( ShiftDateTime ({@StartDate}, {?TimeZone}, "UTC,0")) Name of this formula field is StartDate I pass it into subreport as a Pm-?@StartDateUTC (also tried Pm-@StartDateUTC). I am sure, that @StartDate has correct value (tested in preview with this field in report), also Pm-?@StartDateUTC does has a value, but when CR is accessing DB - the result is empty field value...

    Is there any short way to achieve what APT does in Python ? I mean, when the package manager prompts a yes/no question followed by "[Yes/no]". The scripts accepts YES/Y/yes/y or "enter" (defaults to Yes as hinted by the capital) The only thing I find in the official doc is input/raw_input.. I know it's not that hard to emulate, but it's annoying to rewrite :|
