  Hi All Visual studio allow you to create "inlined" classes (if I am not mistaken with the name). So class header and implementation all in one file. H. file contain definitions and declarations of the class and functions, there is no .cpp file at all. So I was wondering if there is any penalty for doing it that way? any disadvantages ? • How can I get the correct headers automatically given a filetype in PHP?

  A few times I've run into situations where I'd like to be able to include a file using PHP, and depending on the included filetype, output the appropriate headers. In the past I've just done this manually by switch/casing the extension type with the appropriate content-type headers. However what I'm wondering now is if there's a function like get_header($filename) or maybe get_contenttype($extension) For example if I wanted to route all requests for media through a php file, I could use that function to output the correct headers.

  I'd like to censor some words in a string by replacing each character in the word with a "*". Basically I would want to do String s = "lorem ipsum dolor sit"; s = s.replaceAll("ipsum|sit", $0.length() number of *)); so that the resulting s equals "lorem ***** dolor ***". I know how to do this with repeated replaceAll invokations, but I'm wondering, is this possible to do with a single replaceAll?

• returning aligned memory with new?

  I currently allocate my memory for arrays using the MS specific mm_malloc. I align the memory, as I'm doing some heavy duty math and the vectorization takes advantage of the alignment. I was wondering if anyone knows how to overload the new operator to do the same thing, as I feel dirty malloc'ing everywhere (and would eventually like to also compile on Linux)? Thanks for any help

I am working with a bunch of strings, and feel like it would be terribly inefficient to have to use c_str() each time I want to compare them with strcasecmp().   I was wondering how to save PHP variables to a txt file and then retrieve them again. Example: There is an input box, after submitted the stuff that was written in the input box will be saved to a text file. Later on the results need to be brought back as a variable.
