  I have created a subdomain for a town in San Diego that's ranking very well for it's keywords: http://carmelvalleymortgage.loanrebateinc.com/ I want to replicate this subdomain's content for another town in San Diego: http://sandiego.mortgage.loanrebateinc.com/ I will edit the text, tags, image files specific to each town, otherwise the verbiage will be identical. Question: Will Google penalize the main site? Will Google penalize the subdomains and list the content as spam? If yes to either 1 or 2, what strategies can I implement to prevent this? I'm using WordPress.

• Manchester UG Presentation Video

  In July I was invited to speak at the UK SQL Server UG event in Manchester.  I spoke about Excel being a good data mining client.  I was a little rushed at the end as Chris Testa-ONeill told me I had only 5 minutes to go when I had only been talking for 10 minutes.  Apparently I have a reputation for running over my time allocation.  At the event we also had a product demo from SQL Sentry around their BI monitoring dashboard solution.  This includes SSIS but the main thrust was SSAS Then came Chris with a look at Analysis Services.  If you have never heard Chris talk then take the opportunity now, he is a top class presenter and I am often found sat at the back of his classes. Reason I ask, I wish to change the A record. So this will eliminate the .htaccess file, and thus null and void the redirect. How long must I wait prior to the undertaking? Thank you.

  We have a large database of items which are viewable as individual items (they are plants) (url example http://www.plantify.co.uk/Abelia-chinensis/plant-5087) or in a list view (url example http://www.plantify.co.uk/page-1/plant). There is a link on the individual page to the list view. We want to index in google for the term Abelia chinensis. My question revolves around the list view and its impact on SEO.
