    This is really confusing and I have never had this occur. For my computer, it is fine. But for anyone else's computer I have tried, it screws up. So on my site, designatease.com , the second bar down, it places the fifth item down below the first four. I am not sure why it is doing this. I want them to span across the bar but the stop at about half way. Help me out SOF.     Hi, I've a JEditorPane inside a JDialog. I'm loading a web page when this JDialog is loading. This web page is larger then the JEditorPane size. So I want to display a certain position in the web page by default. For example, I've a 175x200 size jdialog and JEditorPane. I want to display the web page sontent around 150 pixels down. Is there any solutions for this? Or is there any other component which I can used to display web pages and can move to a certain position of the web page at loading time.

  • Why is this jquery dialog window not displaying?

    I've got a form that is using jquery validation. When the user clicks the submit button, I've got some jquery that intercepts the submit and should display a dialog window asking the user to verify the information they entered on the form. This dialog window should only display if the form has validated. Here is my code: $('#form').submit(function(){ fillVerificationDialog(); /* This loads up the dialog with form data */ if (('#form').valid()){ $('verification_dialog').dialog('open'); return false; } }); My dialog window is not displaying. It just submits the form. And I've verified that the form is valid by using an alert that checks the value of $('#form').valid() If I remove the if statement and just have the line that opens the dialog, the dialog displays. However, it will display even if the form has errors which is what I'm trying to prevent.

  • Is WinForms ListView in VirtualMode limited to 100,000,000 rows?

    I have some grid scenario with 500,000,000 rows I would like to display in ListView. If I artificially limit my ListView to display 100,000,000: _listView.VirtualListSize = _data.Count; if (_listView.VirtualListSize > 100000000) _listView.VirtualListSize = 100000000; Everything works fine (In VirtualMode naturally). When I change my code to: _listView.VirtualListSize = _data.Count; if (_listView.VirtualListSize > 100000001) _listView.VirtualListSize = 100000001; The ListView display an empty grid... Is this a Microsoft Bug? Where is this coming from? Is this a Win32 ListView limitation? Most importantly, why is this not documented?

May I know B c = new C() creates object of B or C? What I understood is, it creates object of B. Then why we say "new C()"?   • How do i hide html until its processed with javascript?

    I am using some JS code to transform my menu into a drilldown menu. The problem is before it runs the JS you see a BIG UGLY mess of links. On their site its solved by putting the js at the top. Using recommendations by yahoo/YSlow i am keeping the JS files at the bottom. I tried hiding the menu with display:none then using jquery to .show(), .css('display', ''), .css('display', 'block') and they all lead up to a messsed up looking menu (i get the title but not the title background color or any links of the menu) How do i properly hide a div/menu and show it after being rendered?

    I'm using jQuery to write a simple utility app that's just run locally. It'll read from a list of files using jQuery.get and then display them along with some meta-data (which resides in a separate file). The images and meta files live in ../scored_images/*.[jpg|meta] I can load the file list with jQuery.get just fine (it's in the current directory), and I can load up the images and display them without a problem. However when I go to load the meta file for display, jQuery.get seems to silently fail. I can load them fine if the path doesn't have ../ in it. Is there a way to work around this behavior?

  • [Qt] How to make another window pop up that extends QWidget as opposed to QDialog?

    So far I've only had my main window pop up other windows that were QDialogs and I'm not getting it to work with a QWidget. The other window I want to display was designed with the Form Editor, then wrapped in a class called ResultViewer which extends QWidget (as opposed to QDialog). What I want is to have the ResultViewer show its ui in a seperate window. Now when I try to display it the ResultViewer ui just pops up in the main window on top of the mainwindow ui. The code I'm using to display it is this (in my mainwindow.cpp file) ResultViewer * rv = new ResultView(this); rv->show(); The constructor for the ResultViewer looks like this ResultViewer::ResultViewer(QWidget * parent) : QWidget(parent), ui(new Ui::ResultViewer) { ui->setupUi(this); } I've looked through the QWidget documentation a bit but the only thing I can find that may be related is the QWidget::window() function, but the explanation isn't very clear, it just gives an example of changing the title of a window.

    Hello comunnity! I am filling a div using JQuery. This div has the CSS property 'overflow' set to 'auto' (to display scrollbars because the div has a lot of HTML inside). But the DIV doesn't display the scrollbars. I think that the problem is that I'm setting the CSS property using CSS and the DIV is filling dynamically. How can I do to display scrollbars if the HTML inside the DIV doesn't fit, but dynamically? I'm trying to set the property manually after fill the div, but didn't work: function createWB(tag){ // Fill the div // ... // Set the scrollbars $('.tab_content').css('overflow','auto'); } If a set the property to 'scroll', the scrollbars appear, but disabled. I'm using os.kill to do this: os.killpg(selenium_server_process.pid, signal.SIGTERM) selenium_server_process.wait() This does not work. The reason is that the shell subprocess spawns another processfor the java program, and the pid of that process is unknown to my python code. I've tried killing the process group with os.killpg, but that kills also the python process which runs this code in the first place. Setting shell to false, thus avoiding the java program to run inside a shell environment, is also out of the question, due to other reasons.     What design pattern might apply to logging? What is normally used in this type of situation? Any good tutorials? I am writing a client-server application using C89 and gcc 4.4.4. I now need to implement some logging feature that will display log messages on the screen as well as log to a file. However, I don't want to display all log messages (warning, error, critical, unrecoverable, debug, etc). Maybe I can set so that it will display just errors and nothing else. For example, the user might not be interested in the debug messages on the screen output.

  • MySQL : Calculate business day difference between two dates column

    My sql query returns back two columns, first column is "date created" and second column is "date updated", first column has a prior timestamp with respect to second column. I need to add a third column which can display business day hrs (9:00am to 5:00pm) response i.e. if date created is 2012-01-01 09:00:20 and "dated updated" is 4:00pm same day then third column should display 7 hrs If date created is 2012-01-01 16:00:20 (4:00pm) and "date updated" is 10:00m on 2012:01:02 (2nd Jan) then third column should display 2 hrs. It should exclude Saturday and Sunday. Can you please suggest appropriate SQL query for this.

    Does anybody know how to center align a DIV that has the display set to inline-block? I cannot set the display to block because I have a background image that needs to be repeated, and it needs to expand based on the content. It sits inside of a parent div, in which is larger when it comes to width. So all in all. Does anyone have a fix to center align a div with the display set to inline-block?   • View OS X Desktop on windows remotely at higher resolution then hosting machine

    I have a new macbook air 11, which I do some web based programming on, I have a windows box with a 1920x1200 display which I'd like to use to view the mac desktop and keep working at home when I can - taking advantage of the higher resolution screen and full sized keyboard/mouse. I don't think VNC or such is the answer I'm looking for as it would restrict the display to the airs 1366x768 - negating the main benefit more lines of text on screen. From some rudimentary googleing I think I'm after some sort of x-windows / x-11 remote display. But I'm not a Linux user and any discussion seems to be about linux os x or windows Linux setups. Can anyone provide a clear set of instructions on how to do this or an application that can do this.
