    I'm trying in an asp web application to code a function that would loop through a list of files in a multiple upload form and send them one by one. Is this something that can be done in ASP? Because I've read some posts about how to attach several files together, but saw nothing about looping through the files.     Ok, so I am using (or trying to use) two primary mod_rewrite rules, and they seem to be conflicting with one another RewriteRule ^/?help$ index.php?page=help [L] and RewriteRule ^/?([a-zA-Z0-9._-]+)$ index.php?user=$1 [L] If I get rid of the period -. in the second rule, my help page is displayed, and I can display a user page as well, but when I add the period, my help page doesn't display, but instead (I think) gets processed as a user page. Anyone have any pointers?

What's a fast way to find the first bit that is set in this bit array? All the related solutions I have looked up find the first least significant bit, but I need the first most significant one.     in my .htaccess i've got these lines: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond $1 !^(index\.php|images|robots\.txt) RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1 [L] i tried to include js files with this line: <script type="text/javascript" src="system/application/media/js/jquery/jquery.js"></script> but it doesnt work since the rules dont let it pass. it works when i turn the rewrite engine off. how can i change the rules so it allows url with a /js, /css and /img? thanks

    As a very novice Java programmer, I probably should not mess with that kind of things. Unfortunately, I'm using a library which have a method that accepts a ByteBuffer object and throws when I try to use it: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NullPointerException: Unable to retrieve native address from ByteBuffer object Is it because I'm not using a non-direct buffer? edit: There's not a lot of my code there. The library I'm using is jNetPcap, and I'm trying to dump a packet to file. My code takes an existing packet, and extract a ByteBuffer out of it: byte[] bytes = m_packet.getByteArray(0, m_packet.size()); ByteBuffer buffer = ByteBuffer.wrap(bytes); Then it calls on of the dump methods of jNetPcap that takes a ByteBuffer.

    Hello, I have a buffer in class 'bufferClass' that will generate a signal to tell 'fileClass' that buffer is full and now write data to file? And when 'fileClass' is done writing to file, it will generate a signal to tell 'guiClass' that data can be read from file. Is this possible? I have been reading http://www.gnu.org/s/libc/manual/html_node/Signal-Handling.html but not too sure how to generate such a signal? I don't need the exact code, just an idea. Much appreciated. i am using mac os X, x-code.
