    I saw these lines in a demo project, but I couldn't understand why it did that. [self willChangeValueForKey:@"names"]; [self didChangeValueForKey:@"names"]; It called didChangeValueForKey immediately after willChangeeValueForKey. Does it make any sense? Furthermore, when should be the right time to call this two methods? Thanks a lot!! :)

    hello all, I have class named Shop that contain data members (NSString , NSInteger and nsmutablearray that contain another class(that have also NSString and NSInteger) Now if i use nsmutablearray to hold alist of Shops what is the best way to save the list to file and load it later? again the class Shop contain data memeber that is another class both of the classes have NSString and NSinteger (maybe also NSdata and NSdate) i heard somthing about archiver?? thanks.

    How do I get intellisense to pop up while I am coding? I know it pops up when I start typing a known type e.g.: if I type NSS it will finish it for me NSString. How do I get it to give me a bunch of options like in Visual Studio e.g.: if I type NS I want to see what my options are like NSString, NSInteger etc? And if I have not typed anything I still want a bunch of options like all the instance variables etc.

    help please. my code that change UIImageView is: - (void) viewDidLoad { background.image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"myImage.png"]; } It works good on iPhone and also on iPad but, how can I change "myImage.png" to "myImageHD.png" when I will run this app on my iPad???? I just need to show myImageHD if my app will run on iPad. IT CAN BE DONE WITH XIB FILE, BUT I NEED WITH CODE TO FIX IT. To detect if app run on iPad, and show myImageHD. Thanks.

  • detailsView title and description stays the same, not refreshing ...

    I have some values on my tableview coming from database. I simply tap one of them, navigate to detailsView then I can see the title and description of that value on my navigation controller. (title on navigation bar, description on text view in detailsView) but when I wanted to search, I click search bar, keyboard comes up from the bottom, tableview minimizes a bit then find what I want from table. I tap again but titles and descriptions show very first value of my table view .. It does not show the correct title and description. Whenever I searched, it shows the title and description of very first value on my table view..

    Hi having an issue using a NSMutableArray; In my implementation file applicationDidFinishLaunching method I have _imgArray = [NSMutableArray array]; and _imgArray is defined in my .h file as NSMutableArray *_imgArray; After populating it, it traces out correctly. The problem is, in another method in my implementation file, I can't seem to acces the _imgArray array. It traces out to _imgArray= ar.lproj What gives?

    Heya, I've added a class object to the nib file. All connections are made. But for some reason, the object is deallocated as soon as it's created.     I have a very simple get request that doesn't return data on my script. The script is fine when viewed in the web browser but the app does not pull in the data.     Hi, I have a table in which I want a dynamic image to load in at the left-hand side. The table needs to use an IF statement to select the appropriate image from the "Resources" folder, and needs to be based upon [dog types]. The [dog types] is extracted from an RSS feed, and so the image in the table cell needs to match the each cell's [dog types] tag. I suspect I need to use - (UIImage *)imageForTypes:(NSString *)types { to do such a thing. Thanks.

    Hi, I am building an app that plays multiple video files, But I would like to know How do you download a video file (100mb - 300mb) from a server into the application's documents so it can later be locally referred to in code? The reason I want this type of a set up in my app is that I don't want the app binary to be made unnecessarily large due to including videos some users may not want. Also does this violate any of apple's terms? Also would it be simple to implement a progress view with this kind of set up and if so how? Any help is appreciated.
