• Equivalent to produce field glow in other browsers?

  I was long using this to add a glow to focused fields, I accessed my page from Firefox for the first time and realized it doesn't work on it, and most likely not on explorer either. border: 1px solid #E68D29; outline-color: -webkit-focus-ring-color; outline-offset: -2px; outline-style: auto; outline-width: 5px; I had copy pasted it from another page so I'm not quite sure how it works. What is the equivalent for Firefox or Explorer? I mean how do I make a similar glow in other browsers? Thanks

• Breaking change October: Status waiting when create custom audience with add user data file?

  In my system, I create a custom audience - data file - mobile advertiser ids with 10k user. After I created it, I refreshed API link to get information about the audience which I've just created: https://graph.facebook.com/act_xxx/customaudiences?fields=id,account_id,name,lookalike_spec,retention_days,subtype,approximate_count,rule,delivery_status,operation_status,data_source,permission_for_actions&limit=500&access_token=xxx. (After breaking change in October 2014, status field not return. So I see operation_status) I see that: "operation_status": { "code": 410, "description": "No file has been uploaded for this audience, or the previous upload has failed due to system error. Please try uploading the file again." } But after about 10s, I refresh again, and operation_status change to: "operation_status": { "code": 200, "description": "Normal" } My quetions is: how to check this audience's status is waiting ( uploading file) , like when I create on facebook not my our system. • Basic SQL query question

  Hello, I have the following query: SELECT Base.ReportDate, Base.PropertyCode, Base.FirstName, Base.MiddleName, Base.LastName, Person.FirstName, Person.MiddleName, Person.LastName FROM LeaseT INNER JOIN Base ON LeaseT.LeaseID = Base.LeaseID INNER JOIN Person ON LeaseT.TenantID = Person.ID works fine, except there could be 0 to 'N' people in the 'Person' table for each record in the Base table, but I only want to return exactly 1 for each 'Base' record (doesn't matter which, but the one with the lowest Person.ID) would be a reasonable choice. If there is 0 rows in the person table, I still need to return the row, but with null values for the 'person' fields. How would I structure the SQL to do that? Thanks. Edit: Yes, the tables are probably not structured properly, but restructuring at this time is not possible - got to work with what is there.

• Quickest way to clone a GregorianCalendar?

  I'm trying to make a deep copy of an object, including a GregorianCalendar instance. I'm always wary of using clone() and it doesn't seem to have been overridden here, so I'm just doing the copy field by field. Ideally, there'd be a copy constructor, which I could use like so: GregorianCalendar newCalendar = new GregorianCalendar(oldCalendar); Unfortunately I can't find any such functionality in the API and am stuck trying to figure out which fields I need to get an exact copy. So, to make a copy of one of these calendars, how would you do it? Am I missing some simple shortcut here?

• dymanic columns in mysql tables?

  i want to add dynamic columns in a mysql table. but i dont know exactly how. i want to let the user add some columns (fields) in a thread. eg. let him add a integer field and a value (eg. price: 199) or a string field and a value (eg. name: teddybear). the user can add as many field/value-pairs as he wants. i thought i could create a many-to-many table: thread <- thread_field <- field thread: id, title thread_field: field_id, thread_id, value field: id, name is this a good structure? but in this way i have to set a specific column type of thread_field.value. either its an integer or a string. i want to have the possibility to have it dymanic, let the user choose. how can i do this? thanks!

  So let's say at the last minute (in the view) I decide I want to specify a default for a field and make it hidden, like so: form.fields['coconut'] = forms.ModelChoiceField(label="", widget=forms.HiddenInput(), queryset=swallow.coconuts.all(), initial=some_particular_coconut) My question is this: Do I really need to specify queryset here? I mean, I already know, from initial, exactly which coconut I'm talking about. Why do I also need to specify that the universe of available coconuts is the set of coconuts which this particular swallow carried (by the husk)? Is there a way I can refrain from specifying queryset? Simply omitting causes django to raise TypeError. If indeed it is required, isn't this a bit damp?

The mybb_userfields is the table that contain custom profile field data that they are able to customize & change in their profile. Now, all I want to do is display all users in rows with the custom profile field data that they provided in their profile(which is in the mybb_userfields table) How can I display these fields correctly together?   Hi, I have made a leaderboard table on my site, which returns the users in the MySQL database with the highest scores (score is a separate field). The fields in the leaderboard table are 'rank' 'username' and 'score'. I would like to link each username in the table to it's own profile page. The profile pages are in the format /profile.php?user=$username. How would I go about adding an <a href> within the table (which is echoed in php): echo '<tr><td>' .$a. '</td><td><a href="profile.php?user=' .$row['username']. '">' .$row['username']. '</a></td><td>'.$row['count'].'</td></tr>'; I've tried the above, but it doesn't seem to work. It shows the usernames, but they don't have any hyperlinks. Thanks

  I'm about to change my application to include tool tips for all buttons, combo boxes, etc. I was wondering if there are any recommendations on doing this. For every control I'd like the tooltip to show the control's name in bold, followed by the description. I want to keep the style separated from the control, so I can change the tooltip style globally. What I would like to have, unless there's a better suggestion, is two additional fields per button/combobox/etc: 1-ToolTipName and 2-ToolTipDesc, both containing a string. How can I accomplish this (and is it even possible?).

  Hello, I have MSSQL 2008 Ent and OLTP database with two big tables. How I can move this tables to another filegroup without service interrupting? Now, about 100-130 records inserted and 30-50 records updated each second in this tables. Each table have about 100M records and six fields (including one field geography). I looking for solution via google, but all solutions contain "create second table, insert rows from first table, drop first table, bla bla bla". Can I use partitioning functions for solving this problem? Thank you.

  i am exploring the option of whether DoCmd.TransferText will do what i need, and it seems like it wont. i need to insert data if it does not exist and update it if it does exist i am planning to read a text file line by line like this: Dim intFile As Integer Dim strLine As String intFile = FreeFile() Open myFile For Input As #intFile Line Input #intFile, strLine Close #intFile i guess each individual line will be a record. it will probably be comma separated and some fields will have a " text qualifier because within the field itself i will have commas my question is how would i read a comma delimited text file that has double quotes sometimes as text qualifiers into a table in access?

  I have a simple list of strings, which may be of arbitrary length. I'd like to be able to use this list of strings as I would use a rowset. The app in question is running against SQL Server. To be clearer, if I do SELECT 'foo', 'bar', 'baz' I get 'foo', 'bar', and 'baz' as fields in a single row. I'd like to see each one of them as a separate row. Is there a SQL (or SQLServer-specific) function or technique that I'm missing, or am I going to have to resort to writing a function in an external scripting language?

• How can I make the keyboard disappear after entering the text ?

  I have two text fields in my view. I did it using IB. My problems are After entering the text in textField1 I am entering text in textField2. When I click in textField1 again the previous text is disappeared in the textField1. After entering the text in both the textFields, I need the keyboard to disappear. But, even I touched the return key in the keyboard layout or I touched the screen outside the text field the keyboard is not disappearing. How can I make this. Thank you.

  I'm implementing an app using spring security 3.0.2 with OpenId login and registration. I can login succesfully, but if the user isn't registered i want to do: 1) Get some OpenId attributes like email and name. 2) Show to the user a registration form with just these two fields and the OpenId URI filled. I've been searching a lot but i didn't find an "ellegant" way of doing this. I wonder if some of u can come out with a solution to implement this strategy in my app. Thanks in advance.

  I am writing HTML to an ASP.NET page (from a web service response), and the HTML has tags. Unfortunately, because the ASP.NET page already has a wrapped around it, a lot of the buttons on the page break. Does anyone know how I can nest the form inside the ASP.NET page without breaking the top-level form? Note: the HTML I am bringing in is a form with a bunch of hidden fields inside of it, and it has to be placed within the ASP.NET page, and thus nested in the top-level form. Thanks

In the dropdown you picked the desired number of cars and then it reiterated input fields according to the number of cars chosen. I believe this was done through javascript and a loop was involved. • Setting a form field's value during validation

  I read about this issue already, but I'm having trouble understanding why I can't change the value of a form's field during validation. I have a form where a user can enter a decimal value. This value has to be higher than the initial value of the item the user is changing. During clean(), the value that was entered is checked against the item's previous value. I would like to be able to re-set the form field's value to the item's initial value when a user enters a lower value. Is this possible from within the clean() method, or am I forced to do this in the view? Somehow, it doesn't feel right to do this in the view... (To make matters more complicated, the form's fields are built up dynamically, meaning I have to override the form's clean() method instead of using the clean_() method).
