  • How to add next and previous buttons to my pager row

    - by eddy
    Hi folks!! How would I add next/previous buttons to this snippet, cause as you can see ,it will display as many links as it needs, so if you have a high number of pages then this might not be the best solution <c:choose> <c:when test="${pages >1}"> <div class="pagination art-hiddenfield" > <c:forEach var="i" begin="1"end="${pages}" step="1"> <c:url value="MaintenanceListVehicles.htm" var="url"> <c:param name="current" value="${i}"/> </c:url> <c:if test="${i==current}"> <a href="<c:out value="${url}"/> " class="current" > <c:out value="${i}" /></a> </c:if> <c:if test="${i!=current}"> <a href="<c:out value="${url}"/> " > <c:out value="${i}" /></a> </c:if> </c:forEach> </div> </c:when> <c:otherwise> <div align="center"> </div> </c:otherwise> </c:choose> CSS: .pagination .current { background: #26B; border: 1px solid #226EAD; color: white; } .pagination a { display: block; border: 1px solid #226EAD; color: #15B; text-decoration: none; float: left; margin-bottom: 5px; margin-right: 5px; padding: 0.3em 0.5em; } .pagination { font-size: 80%; float: right; } div { display: block; } This is what I get with my current code: And this is what I'd like to display, with ellipsis if possible Hope you can help me out.

  • How to quit / terminate / stop a j2me midlet?

    - by hsmit
    Surprisingly terminating a midlet doesn't work in my application. Maybe it is because I'm using Threads, but destroyApp() and notifyDestroyed() are not sufficient. Take for example the following code: protected void destroyApp(boolean arg0) throws MIDletStateChangeException { System.out.println("destroying"); notifyDestroyed(); } protected void startApp() throws MIDletStateChangeException { try { // init modules controller.initialize(); }catch (Exception e) { viewer.showAlert("error in startApp() init controller"); destroyApp(true); } }

  • how to detect escape characters in a string

    - by mix
    Given a string named line whose raw version has this value: \rRAWSTRING how can I detect if it has the escape character \r? What I've tried is: if repr(line).startswith('\r'): blah... but it doesn't catch it. I also tried find, such as: if repr(line).find('\r') != -1: blah doesn't work either. What am I missing? thx!

  • Preferred Options for Webservice to Android

    - by Tim Almond
    I need to get an Android app to interface with an XML webservice (it's really just a request which returns XML), but as the data is large and includes some things I don't need (like a huge description block), I was thinking of transforming it via a server into a format that would be good for Android, and also to be reduced considering it will be used in a low bandwidth area. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good lightweight protocol? I'm especially thinking about libraries for Android that already exist for say REST or even delimited data.

  • generate image of basic figures with perl

    - by jonny
    I am using jalava library as a diagram drawing tool. It displays firgures as images in order to maintain compatibility with majority of browsers. When diagram block is being resized a request is being made and new gif image is generated and send to browser. What I need is generating image of basic blocks, like rounded rectangle, circle, diamond with specified parameters (height, width and color). I want to do all server-side; my server part is written on Perl.

We have a number of documents that are the same size i.e. 488x320mm, the content within these documents is always positioned relative to the top right of the document but varies in size i.e. 210x330mm, 240x350mm etc. What i need to do is 'find' the content block and move it from its current position to the centre of the sheet. Please help!

To describe my problem, everytime my location changes, it redraws the center maker on the map.... Only catch is that it doesn't delete the previous one. I can get it to delete the previous one when the location is changed, but I have no idea how to pass the original overlay in-between classes. Also, pastebin here Thanks in advance, hwrd

How do I do the following in C#: Initial state: semaphore counter = 0 Thread 1: // Block until semaphore is signalled semaphore.Wait(); // wait until semaphore counter is 1 Thread 2: // Allow thread 1 to run: semaphore.Signal(); // increments from 0 to 1 It's not a mutex because there is no critical section, or rather you can say there is an infinite critical section. So what is it?

  • two AES implementations generated different encryption results

    - by YCL
    I have an application that uses an opensource "libgcrypt" to encrypt/decrypt a data block (32 bytes). Now I am going to use Microsoft CryptAPI to replace it. My problem is that the libgcrypt and cryptApi approaches generate different ciphertext contents as I use the same AES-256 algoritjm in CFB mode, same key, and same IV, although the ciphertext can be decrypted by their own correspndingly. Could some tell me what is the problem? Thanks.

  • Challenging question find if there is an element repeating himself n/k times

    - by gleb-pendler
    here how it's goes: You have an array size n and a constant k (whatever) you can assume the the array of int type tho it kind be of whatever type but just for the clearane let assume it's an integer. Describe an algorithm that finds if there is an element/s that repeat itself at least n/k times... if there is return one - do it in linear time running O(n) Imortent: now the catch do this algorithm or even pseuo-code using a constant usage of memory and running over the array only TWICE!!!

  • How can I connect to MSMQ over a workgroup?

    - by cyclotis04
    I'm writing a simple console client-server app using MSMQ. I'm attempting to run it over the workgroup we have set up. They run just fine when run on the same computer, but I can't get them to connect over the network. I've tried adding Direct=, OS:, and a bunch of combinations of other prefaces, but I'm running out of ideas, and obviously don't know the right way to do it. My queue's don't have GUIDs, which is also slightly confusing. Whenever I attempt to connect to a remote machine, I get an invalid queue name message. What do I have to do to make this work? Server: class Program { static string _queue = @"\Private$\qim"; static MessageQueue _mq; static readonly object _mqLock = new object(); static void Main(string[] args) { _queue = Dns.GetHostName() + _queue; lock (_mqLock) { if (!MessageQueue.Exists(_queue)) _mq = MessageQueue.Create(_queue); else _mq = new MessageQueue(_queue); } Console.Write("Starting server at {0}:\n\n", _mq.Path); _mq.Formatter = new BinaryMessageFormatter(); _mq.BeginReceive(new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0), new object(), OnReceive); while (Console.ReadKey().Key != ConsoleKey.Escape) { } _mq.Close(); } static void OnReceive(IAsyncResult result) { Message msg; lock (_mqLock) { try { msg = _mq.EndReceive(result); Console.Write(msg.Body); } catch (Exception ex) { Console.Write("\n" + ex.Message + "\n"); } } _mq.BeginReceive(new TimeSpan(0, 1, 0), new object(), OnReceive); } } Client: class Program { static MessageQueue _mq; static void Main(string[] args) { string queue; while (_mq == null) { Console.Write("Enter the queue name:\n"); queue = Console.ReadLine(); //queue += @"\Private$\qim"; try { if (MessageQueue.Exists(queue)) _mq = new MessageQueue(queue); } catch (Exception ex) { Console.Write("\n" + ex.Message + "\n"); _mq = null; } } Console.Write("Connected. Begin typing.\n\n"); _mq.Formatter = new BinaryMessageFormatter(); ConsoleKeyInfo key = new ConsoleKeyInfo(); while (key.Key != ConsoleKey.Escape) { key = Console.ReadKey(); _mq.Send(key.KeyChar.ToString()); } } }

  • dynamic xpath expression

    - by Ferol
    Good day, colleagues! Tell me please, how to make a dynamic xpath-parsing: for example, instead of writing $domXPath-query('//[(@id = "article-id-18")]'); - write something like that $domXPath-query('//[(@id = "article-id-*")]');, because in my case, the site's script generate (every time) a new id for block, that contains article's text? So question, is above.
