  • two AES implementations generated different encryption results

    I have an application that uses an opensource "libgcrypt" to encrypt/decrypt a data block (32 bytes). Now I am going to use Microsoft CryptAPI to replace it. My problem is that the libgcrypt and cryptApi approaches generate different ciphertext contents as I use the same AES-256 algoritjm in CFB mode, same key, and same IV, although the ciphertext can be decrypted by their own correspndingly. Could some tell me what is the problem? Thanks.

  • Thread sleep and thread join.

    hi guys, if i put a thread to sleep in a loop, netbeans gives me a caution saying Invoking Thread.sleep in loop can cause performance problems. However, if i were to replace the sleep with join, no such caution is given. Both versions compile and work fine tho.   • How do I preserve folds in VIM when cutting and pasting?

    In vim, you can create a fold with zf, so if is %, you can neatly fold a delimited block. is there a way to select some text in visual mode and automatically fold that? I've noticed that if I select a closed fold and use dd to delete it, then go somewhere else and use P to paste it, the fold will disappear and the fold will be expanded. I want to cut the folded stuff and paste it and have it paste with the folds still intact and closed.

    Hi, I have an UITextField object in my view and want to launch a method when user press backspace button and textField is empty. First I have to do is to create a cursor storing text length, so when cursor changes from 1 to 0 there is nothing to do. The only way to launch the method is when text length is 0 - press backspace - remain to 0. How to catch the event of pressing the backspace key in my UITextField ? Thanks in advance !

How would it be any different from throwing in a label in the UI and populating the errors on the server side?     I have a navbar fixed to the bottom and I have page that has a title and a giant svg (created by d3.js). I would like the svg to take up the entire screen (whatever is left over), but it always seems to have some part appear behind the bottom nav bar. I've tried: 1) using viewBox to auto-resize, setting the parent div and the svg to be block elements 2) adding padding-bottom to the body element But the svg still appears behind the navbar on wide screen monitors.

    When I use VIM or most modeless editors (Eclipse, NetBeans etc.) I frequently do the following. If I have similar text blocks and I need to change them all, I will change one, copy it (or use non-deleting yank), select next block I need and paste the changed version over it. If I do the same thing in emacs (select region and paste with C-y), it doesn't replace the region, it just pastes at the cursor position. What is the way to do this in emacs?
