  • Error while running Scheduled Task from MSBUILD script

    I am running a MSBUILD script which disables and enabled a scheduled task from command line. I am getting following error. No idea, what 'exited with code 1' means. When I try to copy paste the line in command prompt, it works perfectly. I doesnot run in MSBuild script which is in turn called by CruiseControl.NET SNIPPET FROM MSBUILD file is ERROR is The command "C:\WINDOWS\system32\schtasks.exe /S servername /Change /RU SYSTEM /TN "MyScheduledtask" /DISABLE" exited with code 1.

    I can't for the life of me figure this out, even though it should be very simple. How can I replace all occurrences of "(" and ")" on a string with "\(" and "\)"? Nothing seems to work: "foo ( bar ) foo".gsub("(", "\(") # => "foo ( bar ) foo" "foo ( bar ) foo".gsub("(", "\\(") # => "foo \\( bar ) foo" Any idea?

    As I understand it, C# passes parameters into methods by reference. In vb.net, you can specify this with ByVal and ByRef. The default is ByVal. Is this for compatibility with vb6, or is it just random? Also, how can I specify what to use in C#? I kind of like the idea of passing parameters by value.

    Hi, I need to do some printing using TPrinter. The problem is I can not, for varoius reasons, use Global object Printer. I want to be able to create my instance of TPrinter and print using that one. I tried with: MyPrinter := TPrinter.Create; MyPrinter.BeginDoc; but this generates AV.   • Iframe Facebook application and cookies [Internet Explorer]

    I have downloaded the IBM P3P editor, created files and uploaded them to my server. And cookies are still not recognized in Internet Explorer. I've checked the P3P validation tool and it seems to validate. The application can be viewed here: apps.facebook.com/naplesnews and the iframe points to www.naplesnews.com/facebook/app/. Again www.naplesnews.com/facebook/app/ seems to validate with no issues as well. Any idea what I'm missing here?

  • Asp Dot Net : IHttpModule + m_context.Server.Transfer = session state error

    I have an IHttpModule that implements IRequiresSessionState. The session state is at "on" on the page directive and I also added it to the web.config. In the method "OnBeginRequest" in the IHttpModule, I make a Server.Transfer but I get the error : Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. When I access the page directly or with a Response.Redirect, there is no error. Any idea?

    Hello ... I created a table using ER/STudio 8.0.3 ... The table has a serial pk (SERIAL/INTEGER in ER/Studio)... But the ER/Studio Physical Model generated convert the Serial to Integer... And The generated table in database has a integer pk, without auto-increment functionality... Any idea? Table generated : CREATE TABLE test ( id integer NOT NULL ) Should be : CREATE TABLE test ( id serial NOT NULL )

    Is it possible to turn result sets obtained in LINQ through a stored procedure or function call into a "live" set of objects of which I can retrieve Foreign Key related objects? If, for example, my stored procedure returns a set of rows (= LINQ objects) of type "Contact", then I can't seem to obtain Contact.BillingAddress (which is related by Foreign Key).     We are using pl/sql profiler to collect metrics. We noticed that on one of the environment the plsql_profiler_runs table is populated with the total execution time but the finer details that gets collected in the table plsql_profiler_data is missing. Any idea why this would be happening? We do use dbms_profiler.flush_data() before stopping the profiler and have seen this work fine in another environment.

    And is there an elegant linqy way to do it? What I want to do is create string of given length with made of up multiples of another string up to that length So for length - 9 and input string "xxx" I get "xxxxxxxxx" (ie length 9) for a nun integral multiple then I'd like to truncate the line. I can do this using loops and a StringBuilder easily but I'm looking to see if the language can express this idea easily. (FYI I'm making easter maths homework for my son)
