  • One registry key for many products not deleted on uninstall

    My company has many products, we want to create a registry key Software\$(var.Manufacturer)that will have all of our products if our customers have installed more than one (which is likely) I then want to have a secondary key for each of our products which get removed on uninstall but the main one does not. I have tried to achieve this like below but my main key gets deleted so all of my other products also get deleted from the registry.     I'm trying to make a horizontal menu/list. It has a mix of independent buttons and buttons that are wrapped in their own individual forms. With much hacking I got all of the buttons, in forms and not in forms to align horizontally. I haven't been able to get the whole thing to center on the page though.     I have an activity that I want to run every time the user goes to an xml (specifically rss) page in the browser (at least assuming the user get's it from the list of apps that can support it). However, when I ad the line: <data android:mimeType="application/rss+xml"></data> to make it: <activity android:name=".activities.EpisodesListActivity" android:theme="@android:style/Theme.NoTitleBar"> <intent-filter> <category android:name="android.intent.category.BROWSABLE"></category> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT"></category> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW"></action> <data android:scheme="http"></data> <data android:mimeType="application/rss+xml"></data> </intent-filter> </activity> The application no longer claims to be able to run rss files. Also, if I change the line to: <data android:mimeType="application/xml"></data> It also won't work (for generic xml file even). So what intent filter do I need to make in order to claim that the activity supports rss. (Also, bonus points if you can tell me how I know what URL it was the user opened. So far, I've always sent that information from one activity to the other using extras). Thank you for your help

How can I do this in Jquery so that jquery can accomplish this task for me. Is it possible?

The number of countdown clocks varies from day to day so I need to call javascript several times from within "while" code in php to produce different clocks. I don't know how to call the javascript several times and increment the variable cd1 within the javascript. Had the data been a list, it would have looked something like this: Level 1 -- Level 2 ---- Level 3 Level 1 -- Level 2 ---- Level 3 I'm not looking to implement drag-and-drop sorting functionality, make it possible to rearrange the level 1 and two rows. The tricky part is that once I start moving a row, the corresponding children (and grand-children, if any) should move along with it.   • jQuery - Need help stopping animation on click command.

    With a few of your help I was able to get the jquery I wanted to work flawlessly, except for one thing.. the animation doesn't stop when i click on the buttons. Scenario: I have an Image, and 3 buttons underneath labeled "1","2", and "3". The jquery will automate the click function every 4500ms and switch from 1 to 2, then 2 to 3 and continuously loop. However the problem is, if I manually click on a 1,2,3 button the animation does not stop.   • IE7 rendering bug: Heading before a floated list

    Can somebody please explain this IE7 bug to me? It occurs in Standards and Quirks mode rendering, it does not occur in Firefox, Chrome or IE8 (though switching the rendering engine via IE8 developer tools will provoke it). There's an unexplained gap between the <div> and the <ul>. Now do one of the following: Uncomment the CSS rule for <h1>. The gap disappears and the list is rendered tight to the <div>, but also very close to the <h1>. Alternatively, uncomment the CSS rule for <ul>. Now a narrow blue border is rendered above the <ul>, but the gap disappears. My questions: How can the <h1> margin (I suppose any block level element with a defined margin will do) affect the space below the list? Can I prevent this from happening without having to set header margins to 0 or messing with the <ul> borders (setting border-width: 0; does not work BTW)? I suppose it is connected to the <ul> having no width because it has only floated children. Maybe someone with more insight into IE7 peculiarities than I have can explain what the rendering engine is doing here. Thanks!
