  • JavaScript returns Access Denied

    Hello, I'm running into a scenario where at random times I am getting "Access Denied" when executing javascript. It is not repeatable and occurs in random places of my application. There is not indication of what is causing it in the logs and I'm really at a loss on this. It seems to be UI problem only. However, there is no reason it should appear as I do not have any such permission checking to could be getting triggered. Thanks in advance

  • Resuming MySQL indexing

    Hello All, I have been building index on a 200 million row table for almost 14 hours. Due to resource over-consumption on the machine (because of a separate incident), the machine cashed. Clearly, I want to avoid another 14 hours to re-construct the index. Is there a way that I can resume the construction of index from the point (or slightly back) where the machine crashed? I can see the temporary files created. Thanks

This may sound easy, but I've been trying - in vain, apparently - to figure out how I can make a query with MySQL that checks if the value (string $haystack ;) ) in a certain column contains certain data ( $needle ;) ), like this: mysql_query(" SELECT * FROM `table` WHERE `column`.contains('{$needle}') "); In PHP, the function is called substr($haystack, $needle), so maybe: WHERE substr(`column`, '{$needle}')=1 Thanks in advance!

    Hello, I want to use either http://onehackoranother.com/projects/jquery/tipsy/ or http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-tooltip/ and I was wondering if lets say I have a div on my page that has a class 'item_info'. Can I have my tooltip that is created output the div inside the tooltip and formatted properly according to my css? Is there another plugin I should be looking into? Thanks. I have a task - draw smooth curve input: set of points (they added in realtime) current solution: I use each 4 points to draw qubic Bezier curve (1 - strart, 2 and 3rd - control points, 4- end). End point of each curve is start point for the next one. problem: at the curves connection I often have "fracture" (angle) Can you tell me, how to connect my points more smooth? Thanks!

I know you can use IE to analyse the xml log file, and we get a visual generate by the xsl file, but my xml log file have 97 MO and the IE performance is not got.     I'm writing a mapping class which uses SQLite as the storage backend. I am currently allowing only basestring keys but it would be nice if I could use a couple more types hopefully up to anything that is hashable (ie. same requirements as the builtin dict). To that end I would like to derive a deterministic serialization scheme. Ideally, I would like to know if any implementation/protocol combination of pickle is deterministic for hashable objects (e.g. can only use cPickle with protocol 0). I noticed that pickle and cPickle do not match: >>> import pickle >>> import cPickle >>> def dumps(x): ... print repr(pickle.dumps(x)) ... print repr(cPickle.dumps(x)) ... >>> dumps(1) 'I1\n.' Another option is to use repr to dump and ast.literal_eval to load. This would only be valid for builtin hashable types. I have written a function to determine if a given key would survive this process (it is rather conservative on the types it allows): def is_reprable_key(key): return type(key) in (int, str, unicode) or (type(key) == tuple and all( is_reprable_key(x) for x in key)) The question for this method is if repr itself is deterministic for the types that I have allowed here. I believe this would not survive the 2/3 version barrier due to the change in str/unicode literals. This also would not work for integers where 2**32 - 1 < x < 2**64 jumping between 32 and 64 bit platforms. Are there any other conditions (ie. do strings serialize differently under different conditions)? (If this all fails miserably then I can store the hash of the key along with the pickle of both the key and value, then iterate across rows that have a matching hash looking for one that unpickles to the expected key, but that really does complicate a few other things and I would rather not do it.) Any insights?
