    Hi there, I need to make a program that writes some data to an excel spreadsheet. Something basic along the lines of First name, last name, phone number, e-mail per row with each category in its own column. I don't even know where to start. If someone could tell me which assemblies to reference and maybe point me to a website or a book that covers writing/reading data from an excel spreadsheet via a c# program that would be great.     int myInt; cout << myInt; // Garbage like 429948, etc If I output and/or work with unitialized variables in C++, what are their assumed values? Actual values in the memory from the "last user"? e.g.: Program A is closed, it had an int with the value 1234 at 0x1234 - I run my program, myInt gets the address 0x1234, I output it like above - 1234 Is it just random garbage?

To do so, I thought it might be convenient to convert this program into a function or a class. One way I can think of is to add a def Main(): line at the top and indent every line manually within it. But becides shell, program have a gui interface, so I need to run editline's readline() function in separate thread, because it blocks until Enter pressed. Is there a way to use readline() function without blocking, so I could avoid separate thread usage?

  • Else without if

    I'm trying to write a code for my computer programming class for a project due Monday, and I'm pretty new to Java, but I'm trying to write a program that will first determine if a number the user inputs is even or odd and then determine if the number is prime or not. I'm not sure if I did the algorithm right or not, so if anyone has any corrections on the program to my algorithm or anything else please say so, but my real issue is that the program is refusing to compile.
