    Hello, Environment: Windows Server 2008 R2 fully patched, working as Domain Controller in Win 2003 native domain. Users started to report problems with share, it turned out that server service won't start. I've scrambled google but can't find a thing. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance :) Service fails to start, then when starting service I get: Windows could not start the Server service on SERVERNAME. Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process. In System Event Log: Event 7023 The Server service terminated with the following error: The account used is a server trust account. Use your global user account or local user account to access this server.

    I am getting: Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument this seems to happen when Text(1).SetFocus is called. However, I dont see this run time error for all the cases where I have used SetFocus. Just 2-3 places it is causing this error. Text(1).SelStart = 3 Text(1).SelLength = 1 Text(1).SetFocus I tried: Text(1).Enabled = True Text(1).Visible = True just above .SelStart, but it didn't fix the issue.

    Users attempting to check out files from a particular Subversion 1.4.x repository with Apache 2.2 on Windows 2003 have suddenly begun getting an error message in their log windows upon checkout with TortoiseSVN 1.4: Error REPORT request failed on '/[path_to_repo]/!svn/vcc/default' Error REPORT of '/[path_to_repo]/!svn/vcc/default': 200 OK (http://[server_name]) This started following an hd crash on the server and subsequent restore of about 10 subversion repositories. Only one repository is having this problem after an attempted working directory reconciliation. The repo owner reconcile their working directory with the repository by modifying/deleting the hidden .svn directories (though this was not advised). I can't find anything on the Internets that represents my situation. The restored server is exactly as the original and no other repositories on this server are throwing errors. Any ideas on 1) what this error is and 2) how to fix it?

    I am running ubuntu 10.10 as my host with Windows 7 as the guest. About a couple weeks ago I started getting error pop-ups from vmware reporting inability to read or write to a particular file. On futher investigation, I've noticed that I cannot copy that particular file from the linux command line even as root. I get the same input/output error. The SMART utility tells me I have 69 bad sectors on the disk (it is 1 TB) So my question is 1) How do I tell if that HD is going bad? 2) How can I move the VM files to a different part of the disk if I get read/write errors when I try to copy?

Then in Routing and Remote access selected Configure and Enable Routing and Remote Access. There selected custom configuration, vpn. Then created user in active directory and allowed network access permission. After this I tried to connect to vpn from windows 8. I get the following error: Error 720: A connection t the remote computer could not be established. You might need to change the network settings for this connection. What should I do?

    I have a problem with closing the SQLconnection in my application. My application is in VB.net. I have a reference in my application to a class with code to open and close the database connection and to execute all sql scripts. The error occurs when i close my application. In the formClosing event of my main form I call a function that closes all the connections. But just before I close the connections I perform an SQLquery to delete a row from a table with the function below. Public Function DeleteFunction(ByVal mySQLQuery As String, ByVal cmd As SqlCommand) As Boolean Try cmd.Connection = myConnection cmd.CommandText = mySQLQuery cmd.ExecuteNonQuery() Return True Catch ex As Exception WriteErrorMessage("DeleteFunction", ex, Logpath, "SQL Error: " & mySQLQuery) Return False End Try End Function In my application I check the result of the boolean. If it returns True, then i call the function to close the database connection. The returned boolean is True and the requested row is deleted in my database. This means i can close my connection which I do with the function below. Public Sub DatabaseConnClose() myCommand.CommandText = "" myConnection.Close() myCommand = Nothing myConnection = Nothing End Sub After executing this code I receive an error in my logfile from the DeleteFunction. It says: "Connection property has not been initialized." It seems very strange to receive an error from a function that was completely executed, or am i wrong to think that? Can anyone tell me why I receive this error and how I can solve the problem?

What does that imply? I do not understand the error message ... invalid initialization of a non-constant? I declared the prototype function above with two parameters to take, one a reference of an integer and one just an integer value itself. I passed the reference of the int (see line 10), yet this error keeps being thrown at me. What is the issue?

    Hi I have a Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 running and I need to have a WDS with mixed mode so I can deploy Windows 7 & Windows XP images. I went to setup the first image and after the wizard was done copying the correct files I got: Single Instance Storage Groveler: Service did not start (or something like that). I checked event viewer and got this: Event Type: Error Event Source: Service Control Manager Event Category: None Event ID: 7023 Date: 3/26/2012 Time: 7:03:21 PM User: N/A Computer: SERVER2 Description: The Single Instance Storage Groveler service terminated with the following error: The service has not been started. This server is needed very soon because we just got a shipment of several Windows XP capable laptops and need to deploy Windows XP over PXE and this is keeping us from proceeding.     I am trying to strip everything between a key phrase and ending tag but for some reason it is not working. I always get blank data. I've tried many different ways but no luck. Basically I have a script that connect to IMAP and store emails into MySQL as service tickets. It works great but I am trying to strip off everything except for user reply because currently if a user reply to an email it re-inserts the entire email into MySQL. I added a key phrase at the top of all outgoing emails . Structure is as below: --Reply below this line to respond-- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Email body message... When replying to the message, it becomes: New Message reply...... --Reply below this line to respond-- old message body. I would only like to insert the new reply message only. This is what I've got so far: $message = strip_tags($message, "<br><div><p><u><hr></section>"); $message=preg_replace("</p>", "br /", $message); $message=preg_replace('#--REPLY above this line to respond--(.*?)</section>)#s', ' ', $message); $message=clean("<br/><hr><u>Received On $rep_date / $from_email</u><br><br/>$message"); It inserts the Received On date and From but $message is blank. If I remove $message=preg_replace('#--REPLY above this line to respond--(.*?)</section>)#s', ' ', $message); it inserts the entire email. Any suggestion on what i am doing wrong?

    I can't get virtual host to work on my Windows 8. I restart, stop, start Apache, but I get a popup dialog that says: The requested operation has failed! I know it's the line that produces the error, but how can I enable vhost if I don't uncomment the line in httpd.conf? # Virtual hosts Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf The only thing I did was edited C:\Apache24\conf\httpd.conf by removing the comment on Include conf/extra/httpd-vhosts.conf and edited the file located in C:\Apache24\conf\extra\httpd-vhost.conf.     I am trying to work on a project that will work on 4 orientations. I set it on AndroidManifest.xml android:screenOrientation="sensor", it works but it only does 3 orientation. So i set it to android:screenOrientation="fullSensor" for 4 orientation. Unfortunately, i got this error error: Error: String types not allowed (at 'screenOrientation' with value 'fullSensor'). Anybody knows how to make this work?

    I am attempting to implement the Google Play Services into my Game to add a Leaderboard. However, whenever I try to connect, I get the following error message: I have correctly imported google-play-services_lib into my project, and AdMob is working perfectly. This error message comes up after it tries to login. The account with which I am logging in, is authorized as a Test account so that shouldn't be the issue. There are no error messages in the LogCat window either. All I got was that Error Message from the image. Project hierarchy : I am assuming that simply Extending the Activity from BaseGameActivity should handle everything for me right?
