    Hi Were now testing our application with a few friends. Sometimes there are some errors which dont throw an exception. So I don't really know whats the problem was. So i thought it would be a good idea to implement a menu item which allows to send the logcat file to a email adress, so that we can examine the logcat. Unfortunately I didnt found a hint in the Internet how to extract the Logcat from a phone. How to send a email shouldn't be the problem.

  • Using java to send/receive different objects through UDP

    Hello everyone, I am writing a program in Java where there are communications between two or more machines using UDP. My application sends objects after serializing them through the network to the other machine where it will be deserialized and dealt with it. I was successful in sending one kind of objects so far. My problem is that I want the sender to be able to send different kind of objects, and for the receiver to be able to receive them and cast them again to their appropriate types. However, since UDP allocates a byte buffer then receive the data into the buffer, it is impossible to cast or detect the type of the received object as different objects have different sizes. Is there is a way that I can use to send different kind of objects using UDP and then receive them at the other end? (I don't ask for code here, just some ideas) Thanks

    I have a feature in my web app like I have to send mails from the server to many email ids (some kind of notification stuff) my web application is implemented in struts2. Possibly I have to use javamail api i guess. I am completely new to this javamail and sending mail from server. what basic steps I need to do to setup a mail server in windows, contact the server from my java web app. What api i should I use ? The web has very limited tutorials on javamail and they are damn complicated too. Is there any other api other than javamail by which I can send mail from my java struts2 web app. thanks

  • Need help in understanding the mapping of user-space send, sendto, sendmsg to kernel-space sendmsg

    Hello, I am trying to implement my own transport layer protocol in Linux for an experiment. I am going to use socket interface and add my protocol using sock_register. For the proto_ops i can see that the parameters for the sendmsg and recvmsg are (struct kiocb *iocb, struct socket *sock, struct msghdr *msg, size_t len, int flags). But there are three types of user api's send, sendto, sendmsg. Of these three only sendmsg contains a parameter for msghdr. I find that the other two api's are incompatible with the parameters supplied by the kernel to my kernel-space sendmsg function. So what happens when we use send and sendto user-space api's?     I wish to send text between processes. I have found lots of examples of this but none that I can get working. Here is what I have so far: for the sending part: COPYDATASTRUCT CDS; CDS.dwData = 1; CDS.cbData = 8; CDS.lpData = NULL; SendMessage(hwnd, WM_COPYDATA , (WPARAM)hwnd, (LPARAM) (LPVOID) &CDS); the receiving part: case WM_COPYDATA: COPYDATASTRUCT* cds = (COPYDATASTRUCT*) lParam; I dont know how to construct the COPYDATASTRUCT, I have just put something in that seems to work. When debugging the WM_COPYDATA case is executed, but again I dont know what to do with the COPYDATASTRUCT. I would like to send text between the two processes. As you can probably tell I am just starting out, I am using GNU GCC Compiler in Code::Blocks, I am trying to avoid MFC and dependencies.

    So, I'm trying to send an smtp email from my website as a confirmation that their order has been place. The site is hosted on godaddy and I have no idea what's going on. I'm getting all kinds of error messages. The current one is: "System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: sorry, your mail was administratively denied. (#5.7.1)" My code is: string body = "Your order was placed"; MailMessage objEmail1 = new MailMessage("[email protected]", userEmail, "Confirmation Email", body); objEmail1.IsBodyHtml = true; SmtpClient client = new SmtpClient(); client.Host = "relay-hosting.secureserver.net"; client.UseDefaultCredentials = false; client.Send(objEmail1); I think the problem lies in the from address not belonging to godaddy or with the client.Host. Ideas?

    I have a derived TextBox where I intercept the userinput to manipulate it. However I have to preserve the original typed input. So my idea was to hold an inner TextBox within my derived class and send the user's input to that TextBox before manipulating it. The reason for this approach is that I do not want to take care of all this special actions like: typing something, ctrl+a, [del], type something else, [backspace] and so on ... However I do not know how to send a single keystroke (keycode, ascii, char) to a TextBox. Maybe you have another idea without an inner TextBox at all? Thank you!

    I'm following the tuitions on XMLHttpRequest 2 from : https://developer.mozilla.org/en/DOM/XMLHttpRequest/Sending_and_Receiving_Binary_Data and http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/file/xhr2/#toc-send-arraybuffer They're great tutorials for the client side, and here is a working extract from my script: var imagebuffer = new ArrayBuffer(size); // create the readonly memory buffer var imagedata= new Uint8Array(imagebuffer); // create a view to manipulate data // do some cool stuff with imagedata var exchange=new XMLHttpRequest(); exchange.open("POST",url,true); exchange.send(arraybuffer); So far so good, and I can see from the both client and server control panels that plenty of data is being transferred. Here's my problem: how do I access the ArrayBuffer with PHP at the server? I'm used to the $_POST superglobal wanting parameters passing from a HTML form so it can be accessed as an array but I can't find any reference for how to access this binary array and stick it in my MySQL database.

    i have this controller(visits.php) that use 3 models to build page, then it pass 4 vars to a view. this view contain a form that submit to another page (add_user.php) my question is how can i send the user back to visits.php in case the for_validation is false ? do i have to reload visits.php allover again ?-waste of resourss- or i should just send him back in history with js or php header for example ? can u plz show me an example of how u best handle false result of form_validation ? Note that when i user header('Location: ' . $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER']); i couldnt echo validation_error() :( thanks for help

    hi, i need to send a request to a website when a user submits their url, i tried using curl but it uses server ip which i dont want i have seen a website that is doing a similar job by using applet, users need to open a popup which contains the applet after they leave it open allow it to run it uses a port and then uses the localhost ip like so 127.0.0.1:64653 to send request and basicly curl by the user ip. i decompiled the applet the website was using and they were using java.net.ServerSocket and some other java code but i do not know anything about java. I would to know how this can be done.

    I would like to implement a 'Send Feedback' option in a Java desktop application. One which will pop up a box for the user to enter a comment, then send it to us along with a screenshot of the application window. How would be the best way to communicate the data to us? Two obvious solutions spring to mind: Email - I'm thinking that the application would connect to an SMTP server set-up by us, with the username/password somehow hidden in the code. SMTP over SSL for security (not of the data being sent, but of the SMTP username/password). Web service - pretty self explanatory. Which of these would be best, or is there a better alternative?

    I am able to send html form data to database using hibernate. I am using mySQL, Hibernate, Java 1.6, Spriong 3.0. But I would like to send that same data to multiple tables in the database. My issue is that I want to use only one html form not multiple html form. I have these tables: name, address, email, login, phone_num. From this one html form I want data to go to different tables depending on what the data is. I want to do it using Hibernate so that I am not manually taking form data and inserting it in the database. Please let me know if this is possible.

  • Send Confirmation Email with Google Forms / Spreadsheets

    I know that Google Spreadsheets includes a mass mailout option with its MailApp.sendEmail function, but, as far as I know, it can only run once a form is opened, or by manually clicking "run". I have a Google form which includes an area for someone to put their email address. Is there a simple solution to send this data to its Google Spreadsheet and send it as a confirmation to the specified email address? It would be great if I could somehow incorporate MailApp.sendEmail into the form, instead of into the spreadsheet (which would be after the fact and manual, instead of instant and automatic). Also, note that I will be posting with jQuery. Any ideas?

My questions are : Can I send mail through the Lotus Notes client, or something related to Lotus Notes ( a command line tool maybe? )? If so, where could I find information related to this? I would prefer not having to do it in C/C++, but if no other options' present, that would do. How can I find out the server's address? The GUI is not intuitive, and I can't find the server address.     Hi. I want to send mouse clicks and keyboards keys to a window running a virtual machine such as VMware or VirtualBox. I want to pilotate it from the host OS, from an application written in C#. I can move and click the mouse. But I can't send keyboard input. I tried with SendKeys but it doesn't work. With every other "normal" window, it works. But I think it's related to how VMware or Virtual BOx intercept keyboard events. Any idea?
