The example at the bottom of the MSDN page on MSBuild Inline Tasks already provides pretty much all you need for that with a TokenReplace task that receives a file path, a token and a replacement and uses string.Replace with that. Similar in spirit but way more useful in its implementation is the RegexTransform in NuGet’s Build.tasks. It’s much better not only because it supports full regular expressions, but also because it receives items, which makes it very amenable to batching (applying the transforms to multiple items).     I'd like to know whether it exists a way to put the following HTML tags in a regex. What I want is a regex that can match all the start tags with their corresponding closing tags. E.g., Hello There might be more tags inside. I had thought of something like this: ^<([a-z]+)([^<]+)(?:(.)</\1|\s+/)$/, but it wont work. Sorry if this question doesnt belong to this section.   • Bash prompt doesn't print until I interact with console again

    I don't even know where to begin to diagnose this one. Usually, when a command finishes, the prompt prints itself for the next command. However, that is not happening. Hard to explain with words, I'll just use an example: User@Machine:~$ cp /mnt/mountname/directory/textfile.txt . After waiting several seconds (far too long for this operation on a small file) I press Enter, and see: User@Machine:~$ cp /mnt/mountname/directory/textfile.txt . User@Machine:~$ User@Machine:~$ So clearly the operation had finished, but the prompt didn't display... until I pressed enter, and then BOTH prompts instantly displayed. This error does not happen with commands like cd.

  • Windows 8 - IE 10 Metro - How to print or save a webpage

    I'm running Windows 8 Pro. My default browser is Internet Explorer 10 (and hence opens as a Modern Windows 8 app). I want to know how to print or save a webpage. There are no related settings available in the browser. The only option is to select "View on Desktop" and the browser interface familiar to IE 9 opens up on the desktop, through which I could access the above said options and additional settings. I know the Desktop is not going away anytime soon and that its still an important part of Windows. But if Microsoft is pitching for the Modern Windows UI, why would they leave out important options such as print & save from it and force a user to access the "old" Desktop mode for the same? Even Windows 8 RT supports plug-and-play access to Printers & Peripherals. So not being able to Print from a tablet or access the File System is definitely not an answer.

  • If Expression True in Immediate Window But Code In if Block Never Runs

    I set a break point in my code in MonoDevelop to break whenever I click on a surface. I then enter the immediate window and test to see if the the if statement will return true in comparing two Vector3's. It does return true. However, when I step over, the code is never run as though the statement evaluated false. Does anyone know how this could be possible? I've attached a screenshot. Here is the picture of my debug window and immediate window. You can see where the immediate window evaluates to true. The second breakpoint is not hit. Here are the details of the two Vector3's I am comparing. Does anyone know why I am experiencing this? It really seems like an anomaly to me :/ Does it have something to do with threading?

  • SRSS Client Print Module must be downloaded every use

    I am currently having an issue with SQL Server Reporting Services. Everytime a user clicks the print button for the report, the user must install the ActiveX client print module. The issue is that our clients are not admins on their computers. So therefore they can not install the module. I have gotten around this roughly by adding the SQL address to trust sites, setting "Download signed Active Controls" to enable, and then giving the users permission to write to "C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files". However, this is fix is not easy to distrubute to our user base. I am using SQL Server 2008 SP3 CU3 running on Server 2008 R2. I believe the browser thinks the version is newer than what is on the server. I have tried downloading the print module CAB file from the SQL server and installing manually. That did not work either.     Scenario: Multiple printers hooked up to a printer server (2008r2) including this HP LaserJet Pro 400 Color M451dn. All machines that are using the printer are based on Windows 7 Enterprise x64. Problem: Every couple of days the users who frequent this printer let me know that a few dozen pages with random characters down one side of the paper print out. This happens usually during the evening when no one is around to send print jobs to it. What I have done: Provided the below screen shot of the printer log with what I assume is the print jobs in question. I have looked into the printer driver compatibility and found no issues. Question: Is there a known issue with this printer or similar printers, and is there a solution that people are familiar with when they see multiple pages of gibberish printing out?

Examples: http://mysite.com/invite/tickle-party http://mysite.com/invite/pajama-party http://mysite.com/invite/puppy-party To allow for such dynamism, I provided this url for step one: \invite(.*) My goals work but the funnel visualization report shows 0 for everything. I know this problem is due to the regex in the funnel step because I copied this entire goal except I replaced \invite(.*) with /invite/puppy-party When I hardcoded /invite/puppy-party the funnel worked as expected. Why is my funnel report not working with my original funnel step url parameter?

I wish to print onto lots of envelopes: A few thousand as a one of task (may repeat each year) Good quality colour photo and graphics that has solid colour (plus some black text) Be painless to operate, I don’t wish to have to clear jams often As I need to put the envelopes into batches, I don’t need an input try that will take hundreds of envelopes.     Camera phones get a lot of grief for being underpowered but in this video tutorial the crew at SLR Lounge shows how basic technique and a good eye overcome all. Last year over at the photo blog FStoppers they put together a video showing off how you could use the iPhone as a fashion camera–essentially arguing that the camera wasn’t as important as the photographer. A lot of people said “Well yeah, but you had professional models and thousands of dollars in lighting equipment!” in reaction to the video. In turn the crew at SLR Lounge decided to make their own video showing that using only an iPhone camera and two reflectors (as well as an attractive but informal model). It of course helps to have some side kicks to help hold up your reflectors but the point still stands about modern camera phones being perfectly capable of good photos.     XRegExp is an open source JavaScript library. It extends JavaScript’s regex syntax with features such as free-spacing, named capture, mode modifiers, and Unicode categories, blocks, and scripts. It also provides its own test(), exec(), forEach(), replace(), and split() methods that eliminate most cross-browser inconstencies and bugs. Anyone using non-trivial regexes in their JavaScript code should seriously consider using XRegExp. Last month’s update of the Regular-Expressions.info website added full coverage of XRegExp to the regex tutorial and regex reference sections. But the tools & languages section was missing the XRegExp page, resulting in broken links in the tutorial and reference sections. This page has now been added.

  • OKI-B2540 printer doesn't print?

    There is a driver for the OKI-B2520, and it is automatically selected when the printer is connected. From looking at various websites, it seems like the B2500, B2520, and B2540 all work perfectly fine with the OKI-B2520 driver, so I let it install that. Everything went smoothly, the printer shows up as available, and I can queue jobs without any problems, and they disappear after a few seconds. However, nothing actually comes out. There is no error message on the printer display, or from Ubuntu. This is the output from the CUPS error log: http://pastebin.com/S6ifZAup So my question is: What is wrong??
