• What are the differences between the Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 and the S1300?

  Please can you tell me what the technical differences are between the Fujitsu ScanSnap S300 and the S1300 scanners? S300 = http://www.fujitsu.com/emea/products/scanners/scansnap/tmpl_scanners_scansnap-S300.html S1300 = http://www.fujitsu.com/emea/products/scanners/scansnap/tmpl_scanners_scansnap-S1300.html The only difference I can see is that the S300 has a CCD Image Sensor and the S1300 has a CIS Image Sensor. Other than that, the resolutions, pages per minute and physical sizes of both models are exactly the same. If so, is there a reason why I would want the S1300 instead of the cheaper S300? I just want a scanner for duplex document scanning, for home use (documents, receipts, etc.).

After saving I can see and use it within Visual Studio, however, the code is suddenly trunctated after about 120 lines and there appears some garbled text at the end. Is there a size limit to code snippets? If yes, is this a visual studio, or a Snippet Editor "feature"?

  Hi, I am a newbie with VTK and C++ (but am well versed in the concepts/Java etc). I will eventually need to use both QT and VTK for my project. (1) I would like to know if there is a "development environment"/"editor" for VTK (using C++) ? (2) Something similar to VTK Designer (http://www.vcreatelogic.com/products/vtkd/) ? With VTK Designer, I am very disappointed that there is no feature to convert the VTK output into C++ code. Thanks in advance

• TFS2010 - Correctly setting up Host Header

  We have a TFS2010 install on a Win2008R2 Server running IIS7. I've created a host header for TFS and want to use that instead of machineName:8080. I am getting weird behavior from it now. Every other time I log in I get: TF31002: Unable to connect to this Team Foundation Server: http://web2/tfs. Team Foundation Server Url: http://web2/tfs. Possible reasons for failure include: - The name, port number, or protocol for the Team Foundation Server is incorrect. - The Team Foundation Server is offline. - The password has expired or is incorrect. Technical information (for administrator): The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found. I force a reconnect and voila - there it is. Also, connecting to the web site rarely works but connecting via VS2010 works 50% of the time. What do i need to change to stabilize this?

I add a new property to a class in the class library, then, from the web app, I expect to be able to use it immediately w/o errors and with full intellisense. It used to work in 2008. When I compile the class library, it becomes available but not until. Was this nice feature taken away, perhaps in the interest of speed?

• How do I create drop lines while dragging a menu item on a WinForm?

  I want to mimic the functionality of Google Chrome/FireFox for example, when rearranging your bookmarks, when you are dragging the menu item, it creates a black line at the proposed drop point, like this: I've already implemented the Drag/Drop functionality to rearrange the menu, but I would like to add these separator lines as an additional feature. Is there a way to do this within the .NET Framework (3.5) or shall I have to resort to Win32 api calls? Just wanted to ask before I went down that path.

• What is the holdup on PHP 6?

  I've read in multiple places, including highly recommended PHP books published several years ago, that PHP 6 was just over the horizon, and would fix several of the BIG outstanding issues with PHP (namely unicode support). However, its been several years even since I've read those books, and PHP 6 is still not considered kosher for production use. • Is there a way to export reports from Microsoft CRM4?

  I'm setting up a proper dev environment for my client (dev/qa/stage/prod). I'd like to find a way to export reports so we can cleanly move from one environment to the next. Custom RDL type reports are easy (just import the RDL in the next environment), but the reports that are built inside CRM don't appear to export anywhere. Am I missing something? So if you are looking at an abstract class (such as List) then you would be able to see all classes that inherit/implement the class/interface you're looking at.   hi guys, Just Wondering how [session] timeouts are(or can be) implemented when using Comet? I'm using Long polling Comet solution and want to implement a kind of Timeout feature. Example : If the user is on a comet enabled page and doesn't respond to server events/notification for a period of time say 10 mins then invalidate his session and remove his request from server and redirect the user to a timeout page? Will this require Javascript XHR requests to check for a timeout explictly? Using ASP.NET 3.5 / C# Thanks
