Using StructureMap, how can I inject the dependency on the IMatchRepository and set the initial state? Or is this one of those cases where struggling against the framework is a sign the code should be refactored?

  I see answers to similar questions and I'm sure I may just not be familiar enough with Git and Github terminology to know if they apply to my question. What I need to do is to clone an existing Github remote repository (a private repo under another person's username that I have contributor access to) and create a new private remote repo under my account. The existing repo user is going to make significant alterations to the repo, delete, and re-push, before they do that they want me to clone and create a duplicate so we can continue working from the repo under my user. I want to preserve the commit history with the repo if possible. I've cloned locally but don't can't seem to figure out how to push it to a new remote that isn't origined to the original user.

  I have a form that is showing a MessageBox using MessageBox.Show, and trying to receive events from the Help button on the MessageBox so I can execute my own code. The Microsoft documentation shows how to do this; however, using what is suggested does not work. Put it in other words, is there a way to know if m_val has been initialized/defined or not? Something along the lines of the defined operator in Python, I suppose. (But correct me if I'm wrong.) I have a simple pojo form object, the problem is that many properties will be taked from drop down lists that are populated from lookup entities, so I return the entity ID to the form object. public NewCarRequestForm { private makeId; // this are selected from a drop down. private modelId; } Should I just send this lookup entity ID to the service layer? or should I validated that this ID is correct (Somebody can send any random ID through the request) before and how? Now there is a problem if I want to validated something based on some property of the lookup entity. Do I perform a database lookup of the entity just to perform the validation? thanks.

  Hi guys, I'm trying to do something like the following: enum E; void Foo(E e); enum E {A, B, C}; which the compiler rejects. I've had a quick look on Google and the consensus seems to be "you can't do it", but I can't understand why. Can anyone explain? Many thanks. Clarification 2: I'm doing this as I have private methods in a class that take said enum, and I do not want the enum's values exposed - so, for example, I do not want anyone to know that E is defined as enum E { FUNCTIONALITY_NORMAL, FUNCTIONALITY_RESTRICTED, FUNCTIONALITY_FOR_PROJECT_X } as project X is not something I want my users to know about. So, I wanted to forward declare the enum so I could put the private methods in the header file, declare the enum internally in the cpp, and distribute the built library file and header to people. As for the compiler - it's GCC.
