  • Safari Back button not honouring PHP logout session

    I've got a logout.php page which ends a user's session and works well and does the following: session_start(); session_unset(); session_destroy(); I've just noticed when testing with Safari that when you logout you can click the back button to return to the previous page which requires authentication but are not prompted. You cannot navigate away from this page without entering the navigation but it should not be displaying the previous page in the first place. So far in my testing this is only an issue with Safari on Mac OS X and there are a number of other reports about this but with no resolution that I could find: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Web_Development/Web_Languages-Standards/PHP/Q_23702691.html I would love to be able to disable this behaviour with Safari's back button - surprised that this is happening in the first place.   • Sharepoint calendar webpart change views

    Hi there, I created a calendar list, and I added the calendar web part in another web part page. I noticed that i can not change the view without going to edit mode, then go to modify shared web part. But in the home page of the calendar. There is a same calendar web part with a drop down menu to change views. Also, there is a small calendar connected to the main calendar web part in the left navigation area. I don't know how to add it to my web part page. How can i make it look the same on my web part page? Thanks, Jason

    Hi guys, I'm trying to create a bandwidth monitor - I've done most of it, but I want to have a notifyicon that changes dependent on the bandwidth. The same as when you open task manager and then minimise it, there is a little animated bar graph by the clock showing CPU usage... How do I do that??? Any help would be appreciated.

    I want to do a database-side string concatenation in a Rails query, and do it in database-independent way. SQL-92 specifies double-bar (||) as the concatenation operator. Unfortunately it looks like MS SQL Server doesn't support it; it uses + instead. I'm guessing that Rails' SQL grammar abstraction has solved the db-specific operator problem already. If it does exist, how do I use it?

    Hi, I have a screen with a webView in my navigation controller stack and when I navigate from this view back to a previous before the page completely loaded I get a EXCEPTION_BAD_ACCESS. Seems, that the view with a webView being released before it comes to webViewDidFinishLoad function. My question is how to overcome this problem? I don't expect from the user to wait till the page loads... The strings might look like this: string1 = "{[Surname]}, some text... {[FirstName]}" string2 = "{Item}foo.{Item2}bar" And I want to extract the tokens in the curly braces (so string1 gets "{[Surname]}","{[FirstName]}" and string2 gets "{Item}" and "{Item2}") this question is quite good, but I can't get the regex right: poor mans lexer for c# Thanks for the help!

  • Trouble setting IE8 browser mode to IE7

    Inspite of putting the following meta tag I am not getting the expected result: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" > I open the developer tool window. In the same bar where the menu appears there is an item called Browser Mode: it still shows IE 8 by default. Even doing document.documentMode in the console window shows "8". Am I doing anything wrong?

Currently I have the action set to: "On click open in new window without browser navigation." The problem is this this always opens in a full screen size with the widget showing up in a corner.   • TableView frame not resizing properly when pushing a new view controller and the keyboard is hiding

    Hi, I must be missing something fundamental here. I have a UITableView inside of a NavigationViewController. When a table row is selected in the UITableView (using tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath:) I call pushViewController to display a different view controller. The new view controller appears correctly, but when I pop that view controller and return the UITableView is resized as if the keyboard was being displayed. I need to find a way to have the keyboard hide before I push the view controller so that the frame is restored correctly. If I comment out the code to push the view controller then the keyboard hides correctly and the frame resizes correctly. I have added NSLog statements and see things happening in the log file as follows: Show Keyboard ViewWillDisappear: Hiding Keyboard Hide Keyboard Keyboard Hide Finished PushViewController (an NSLog entry at the point I push the new view controller) From this trace, I can see things happening in the right order, but It seems like when the view controller is pushed that the keyboard hide code does not execute properly. Any ideas would be really appreciated. I have been banging my head against the keyboard for a while trying to find out what I am doing wrong.
