  • Deploying EAR file in Sun App Server having problem with proxy server setttings

    When I am deploying certain vendor EAR file to Sun App Server, I encountered a connection timeout errror. I thought the reason might be proxy settings need to be defined so I actually defined the following -Dhttp.proxyHost=hostname -Dhttp.proxyPassword=password -Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 -Dhttp.proxyUser=username After setting these and restart domain then redeploy I encountered 407 error. Anyone have any idea what could be the issue here?

  • MySQL app with Cassandra in mind

    I am planning to make a web app which will eventually use Cassandra. But now that I don't have it and don't have server(s) to run it from, I'd like to start by using MySQL. The question is, is it possible to structure data and queries in such a way that it would be fairly easy to later port it to Cassandra? Main idea, I guess, would be writing MySQL queries that would be possible to change to same Cassandra queries. Maybe you have a better suggestion?

    Hi all, I was developing an C++ application using OpenCV2.0 under Windows 32bits OS, I recently moved to a Windows 64 bits OS and now it's not working anymore. Compilation does not recognize the *.lib set in the project properties Then when I change their name - what I think I should not be supposed to do - It crashed at my first assignment : Vector.push_back(tmp) Does anyone has an idea ?

  • How can the subView detect that the mainView is rotating?

    I have a mainView. To this view, I am adding a view of the same size. When the mainView(the background) rotates, its being detected but the subview doesnt have any idea about being rotated. And its functions are not even being called. Even when the program launches too, if I am in landscape mode, its the same way. How can I make the subView know that the device is being rotated?

    Does anyone have any idea why annotate does not work anymore in rails 3.1 ? When trying to run it with : $ rvmsudo bundle exec annotate --position before and given I've got the following in my gemfile: gem "annotate", '2.4.0' I get the following error: /usr/local/rvm/gems/ruby-1.9.2-p180@rails31/gems/activerecord-3.1.0/lib/active_record /railties/databases.rake:3:in `<top (required)>': undefined method `namespace' for main:Object (NoMethodError) I'm using RVM with a gemset dedicated to rails 3.1 with Ruby 1.9.2

  • mapping Field with variable type using Hibernate Annotaion

    Hi. how can I have a field with variable type in my class? I use hibernate annotation for mapping to DB. I tried to use java.io.Serializable as field's type, but it mapped to database as a 01 amount which is true if I get it's object and cast it to it's true type. but I need to run a query on this objects that needs true amount of field.(right now I can't compare an integer field with a number) Does anyone have any idea how can I do this? I tried on the clean method to do this : if self.tags.count()>3: raise ValidationError(_(u'You cannot add more than 3 tags')) But self.tags returns not the current updates... only saved objects.   • Confluence not showing tips on wiki markup

    After an upgrade, our confluence installation doesnt show the "Help Tips" on wiki markup (a box on the right side of the edit pane which give basic informations on wiki markup). If I view the source, I see that the div is there, but with a display:none attribute. This lead me to think that there is an option somewhere to activate or deactivate this, but I cant find it. Any idea ?
