    hi friends I am making a game in cocos2d , In that while updating score the old score values get on the label and the new value get overwritten. I m using following code to display the score, LblScore = [CCLabel labelWithString:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d",score] dimensions:CGSizeMake(100, 300) alignment:UITextAlignmentCenter fontName:@"Arial" fontSize:32.0]; Because of this the score value are not shown and all things get massed up, If any one having idea how to update new score?

    Hi, The following code is generating a runtime error and I have no idea why. from o in Orders group o by o.Employee into employeeOrders select new { employeeOrders.Key.EmployeeID, employeeOrders.Key.FirstName, Orders = from eord in employeeOrders orderby eord.OrderID select new { eord.OrderID, eord.OrderDate, OrderTotal=eord.OrderDetails.Sum (od => od.UnitPrice) } } The error is Member access 'System.Decimal UnitPrice' of 'LINQPad.User.OrderDetails' not legal on type 'LINQPad.User.Orders I've also tried this in VS2010 with a standard drag and drop data context and same thing.   • MySQL app with Cassandra in mind

    I am planning to make a web app which will eventually use Cassandra. But now that I don't have it and don't have server(s) to run it from, I'd like to start by using MySQL. The question is, is it possible to structure data and queries in such a way that it would be fairly easy to later port it to Cassandra? Main idea, I guess, would be writing MySQL queries that would be possible to change to same Cassandra queries. Maybe you have a better suggestion?

  • mapping Field with variable type using Hibernate Annotaion

    Hi. how can I have a field with variable type in my class? I use hibernate annotation for mapping to DB. I tried to use java.io.Serializable as field's type, but it mapped to database as a 01 amount which is true if I get it's object and cast it to it's true type. but I need to run a query on this objects that needs true amount of field.(right now I can't compare an integer field with a number) Does anyone have any idea how can I do this?   • How can the subView detect that the mainView is rotating?

    I have a mainView. To this view, I am adding a view of the same size. When the mainView(the background) rotates, its being detected but the subview doesnt have any idea about being rotated. And its functions are not even being called. Even when the program launches too, if I am in landscape mode, its the same way. How can I make the subView know that the device is being rotated?
