Shadowbox.js and dailymotion videos

Hi there. I have a site set up with some thumbs and links to videos hosted on vimeo. I show them in a overlay using shadowbox.js. This works perfect. Now I want to add a video hosted on dailymotion, but it doesn't work. The working link to vimeo video: <a rel="shadowbox;height=636;width=956" href="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=11377863&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=1&color=00ADEF&fullscreen=1" class="player_text">thumbnail here</a> The non working link to dailymotion video: <a rel="shadowbox;height=636;width=956" href="http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/xd6g8y?related=0&autoplay=1" class="player_text">thumbnail here</a> When the href is pasted in a browser, both links work fine. Both are played in a swf as far as I can see. So I can't see why shadowbox won't show it. Unless its a permission problem on the dailymotion video. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Adding a UIPickerView over a UITabBarController

I'm trying to have a UIPickerView slide from the bottom of the screen (over the top of a tab bar) but can't seem to get it to show up. The actual code for the animation is coming from one of Apple's example code projects (DateCell). Javascript: Multiple mouseout events triggered

I'm aware of the different event models in Javascript (the WC3 model versus the Microsoft model), as well as the difference between bubbling and capturing. However, after a few hours reading various articles about this issue, I'm still unsure how to properly code the following seemingly simple behavior: If I have an outer div and an inner div element, I want a single mouse-out event to be triggered when the mouse leaves the outer-div. When the mouse crosses from the inner-div to the outer-div, nothing should happen, and when the mouse crosses from the outer-div to the inner-div nothing should happen. The event should only fire if the mouse moves from the outer-div to the surrounding page. <div id="outer" style = "width:20em; height:20em; border:1px solid #F00" align = "center" onmouseout="alert('mouseout event!')" > <div id="inner" style = "width:18em; height:18em; border:1px solid #000"></div> </div> Now, if I place the "mouseout" event on the outer-div, two mouse-out events are fired when the mouse moves from the inner-div to the surrounding page, because the event fires once when the mouse moves from inner to outer, and then again when it moves from outer to the surrounding page. I know I can cancel the event using ev.stopPropagation(), so I tried registering an event handler with the inner-div to cancel the event propagation. However, this won't prevent the event from firing when the mouse moves from the outer-div to the inner-div. So, unless I'm overlooking something, it seems to me this behavior can't be accomplished without complex mouse-tracking functions. In the future, I plan to reimplement a lot of this code using a more advanced framework, like JQuery, but for now, I'm wondering if there is a simple way to implement the above behavior in regular Javascript.

.net Class "is not a member of" Class .. even though it is?

Hi, Looking over some older code, I've run into a strange namespace error. Let's say I have two projects, HelperProject and WebProject. The full namespace of each - as given in application properties - is myEmployer.HelperProject and myEmployer.Web.WebProject. The pages in the web project are full of statements that use classes from the helper project. There are no imports/using statements but there is a reference to the helper project added in the bin. A few example lines might be: myEmployer.HelperProject.StringHelper.GetFixedLengthText(Text, "", Me.Width, 11) myEmploter.HelperProject.Utils.StringHelper.EstimatePixelLength(Text, 11) However every line that is written in this manner is throwing the error 'HelperProject' is not a member of 'myEmployer'. If you declare the statements like this: HelperProject.StringHelper.GetFixedLengthText(Text, "", Me.Width, 11) HelperProject.Utils.StringHelper.EstimatePixelLength(Text, 11) Everything seems fine. In the solution object browser and the bin folder, HelperProject appears with its full namespace, myEmployer.HelperProject. I don't want to have to change all the statements, and besides I suspect this is masking a more fundamental problem here. But I have no idea what's going on. Can anyone offer any pointers please? Flex 3 - Issues with textArea "editable" property

Hello Community! I'm having issues with the property "editable" of textArea control. I have a component: OrderView.mxml and it's associated data class OrderViewData.as. Orderview.mxml is inside a viewStack to enable navigation from a component to another. In this particular case, OrderView.mxml is called by another component: SearchResult.mxml. I can thus navigate from SearchResult.mxml to OrderView.mxml, and back to SearchResult.mxml... OrderView.mxml has textArea and textInput control, that have to be editable or nonEditable depending on the property var isEditable:Boolean from OrderViewData.as. When the application is launched, isEditable = true. So, all textInput and textArea controls are editable the first time the user gets to OrderView.mxml. When the user clicks on the button order from OrderView.mxml, isEditable = false. When the user goes back to SearchResult.mxml, isEditable = true (again) -- Until here, everything works fine. The thing is: when the user goes back to OrderView.mxml for the second time (and beyond), even if the property isEditable = true, textArea controls are still non editable... But the textInput controls are editable! Implementing subtables in JSF 1.1

We're looking for a way to implement subtables in JSF 1.1. We cannot use Rich Faces due to the fact that out target server is WebSphere 6.1. I've tried JSTL and Tomahawk to no avail. Also, our project is using JSP's and not facelets. Horizontally and Vertically Center Modal Div IE Issue

I'm trying to horizontally and vertically center a modal window inside a div. I want it to be cross browser compatible. You can see from the picture below that when I resize IE8 then click, "show modal" button it displays not exactly horizontally centered. This does not seem to be an issue with Chrome. Any thoughts? new Facebook Like button for Blogger

I want to add the new facebook like button to my blogger website. http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I have to pass the url to the blog posts in the iframe src tag. I can get the blogger posts url from <data:post.url/> but I can't put that in a src string because Bloggers template system is weird. I want to do this:<iframe allowTransparency='true' frameborder='0' scrolling='no' src='http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=<data:post.url/>&layout=standard&show-faces=true&width=450&action=like&colorscheme=light' style='border:none; overflow:hidden; width:450px; height:px'/>but blogger complains: "Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The value of attribute "src" associated with an element type "null" must not contain the '<' character." Anybody have this working yet?

cocoa hello world screensaver

I have been studying NSView and as such I thought I would give a shot at a screen saver. Right way to center a <div> in xhtml?

Im working with a XHTML 1.0 Transitional doctype html file, and I want to have a main div with 800px width and make it appears centered (not the div content, but the div itself). I've used this on the past: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <title></title> <style>  </style> </head> <body> <center> <div id="main-container"> Content </div> </center> </body> </html> But I am not sure if this is cross-browser compatible, or if its valid xhtml.

asp.net calendar control appears below textfield

I ma using an image button to display an asp.net calendar control (this control comes with VS 2008). However, when I click the image button, the calendar controls is displayed "below" the textfield that it is suppoed to populate. How can I get the control to appear on the right side of the textfield? Dropdown in PHP

Hi, I am using PHP 5.2 on SUN OS server. Having problems with the following piece of code that for a drop down: echo '<form action="" method="get">'; echo '<p>Information:<br />'; echo '<select name="acctno" style="width: 100px;">'; foreach ($this->account_names as $acctno => $acctname) { echo '<option value="'.$acctno.'">'.$acctname.'</option>'; } echo '</select> <input type="submit" value="view" />'; echo '</form>'; Worked perfectly fine on Firefox and Chrome; however there is a problem with Internet Explorer. In IE the dropdown width is limited to the size i.e 100px. So only the first 15-16 characters of the account name are displayed all the time. However in chrome or firefox, even if only 15-16 characters are displayed initially, when the drop down arrow is clicked upon, it show the entire name (however long it may be). This does not happen with IE. So if the account name is, lets say, "1223456789abcdefghijkl" then: For IE: shows only "123456789" all the time Ffor chrome or firefox: shows "123456789" and when it is dropped down it show the full name as "123456789abcdefghijkl". Any help here would be much appreciated. Thanks, VP

i had table inside the another table, my inner table display the image, if i enter the text after the inner table,The text should display right side of the table and the bottom of the inner table.how do i do this??? How do you ensure a <td> is exactly 200px tall?

I have a table with an image inside: <table style="border: 3px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); width: 800px; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border-collapse: collapse;"> <tbody> <tr> <td style="text-align: center; padding: 0px; margin: 0px;"><img style="width: 800px; height: 200px; border: 0px;" alt="Logo" src="logo.png"> </td> </tr> </tbody> </table> No matter what I do, there is still a little sliver of white at the bottom of the image. A quick check with Chrome's Inspector reveals that the td has a height of 204px! How can I force the td to be the same height as the image? As you can see above, I've tried all sorts of things...
