    I have a complex URL rewriting scheme which breaks the built in Forms Authentication ReturnUrl mechanism. I would like to grab the requested URL for later redirection away from my login.aspx. I can get this URL in Application_BeginRequest via HttpContext.Current.Request.AppRelativeCurrentExecutionFilePath. However, Session state is not available in Application_BeginRequest. How can I store this URL prior to ASP.NET redirecting me to login.aspx?

The application logs show that on login, we can authenticate the user and get their roles via LDAP, but the login fails because the User Details cannot be found in the application's database. Is there a way to auto create and save a basic User Details domain object if one doesn't already exit?

    hi all I have mycorp.com, ch1.mycorp.com, mycorp2.com domains (it is all windows) I am configuring sso-kerberose-negotiate authentication My server running in mainaaa3.mycorp2.com, I have created spn "http:/mainaaa3.mycorp2.com" for it, and I have set trusts between domains, but if users from mycorp.com, ch1.mycorp.com domains that browser do not send negotiate-ticket, and then I have created spn in each domains for "http:/mainaaa3.mycorp2.com", and now I have error: Mechanism level: Integrity check on decrypted field failed (31) what am I doing wrong?

    Trying to share cookies accross 2 domains in asp.net, for some reason 1 domain has a '.' before the domain, and the other doesn't. Why is that? e.g: .staging.example.com and staging.example.com Is this something to do with how I create the cookie, or a web.config change? I am not using forms authentication, just creating a cookie manually.

Like why not just pass the username and password through the parameters instead? Is it more secure to do it like the way the guy is in the tutorial verus just using passing it through as parameters?     Hi, I receive HTTP PUT requests on a server and I would like to redirect / forward these requests to an other server. I handle the PUT request on both server with PHP. The PUT request is using basic HTTP authentication. Here is an example : www.myserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml redirect to www.myotherserver.com/service/put/myfile.xml How can I do this without saving the file on my first server and resending a PUT request using CURL?     So I have a database that is setup sort of like this (simplified, and in terms of the tables, all are InnoDBs): Users: contains based user authentication information (uid, username, encrypted password, et cetera) Contacts: contains two rows per relationship that exists between users as (uid1, uid2), (uid2, uid1) to allow for a good 1:1 relationship (must be mutual) between users Messages: has messages that consist of a blob, owner-id, message-id (auto_increment) So my question is, what's the best MySQL query to get all messages that belong to all the contacts of a specific user? Is there an efficient way to do this?

For authentication via mobile phone using the link http://m.facebook.com/tos.php?api_key=2461ce...7e76&v=1.0&next=http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge&cancel=http://beta.my_servicet.net/account The user gets to FB and enter your username and password, then it should redirect to http://beta.my_servicet.net/fb_connects/new_merge But instead we see a screen with the text "Redirecting ...". Nothing else happens. My phone is iPhone.
