  • Download from http server all directories,files and subdirectories and so on

    I want to download from remote http server all files directories,files and so on. I found some solutions to ftp server,but doesn't work to http. Until now no luck with wget -r or -m. It download all direcotories in the root and the respective index.html. Not all files and sub-directory under such it(note the sub-directory may have another directory and so on) not sure on tags fix for me if needs. Note: I'm not a native english speaker,sorry for bad english.

  • Second Monitor "Input Not Supported"

    I have two identical monitors (new Acer s211hl) with a native resolution of 1920x1080. When enabling dual monitor support in Windows 7, the primary monitor works as expected, but the second monitor says, "Input not Supported" and fails to display anything. If I change the resolution of the second monitor to 1440x900, it works as expected. Likewise, if I set it to 1920x1080 with a refresh rate of 30hz, the monitor displays video. However, neither of these are solutions, because the output looks very blurry, and the content is stretched. I am using the following hardware: Monitors: Acer s211hl Motherboard: Asus F1A75M-Pro CPU/GPU: AMD A8-3850 with integrated Radeon HD 6550D graphics I suspect that there is probably an issue with the integrated graphics or motherboard not being able to output to two 1920x1080 monitors, but I am hoping for official confirmation.

  • Cannot install wireless lan service on windows 2012 RTM offline

    I'm having trouble installing the wireless lan service offline with a fresh installed windows 2012 server RTM. I tried "install-windowsfeature wireless-networking" in the non-gui mode and using the server manager in the gui mode to enable the wireless lan service, but both of them show a "failure configuring windows updates" message after the installation restarted the system. I checked the event log and I think messages about "The WLAN Autoconfig service depends on the following service: nativewifip. This service might not be installed" are the source of the issue. Google shows it is a service called "native wifi filter", but I cannot find anywhere to install that service. I don't have a Ethernet adapter for that computer, so have to install everything offline before the wifi's working.

  • What's a good web-based application for storing your book collection?

    Hi all! I'm looking for a (better if web-based; i.e., something I can install in my home server on my LAN) software to keep track of my books/DVDs/etc. I already know of Readerware offerings, which I find quite interesting, but I'd like something that is Web-based, so I can run it on my MacMini on the living room, and access it from any of the comuputers in the house. I've been googling around, and I've been quite surprised to NOT find any clear option. Alternatively, good "native" software for Windows/MacOSX will be more than welcome. Thanks a lot PS: Given the # of interesting suggestions for Web 2.0, ASP-Hosted type sites, I've clarified the question a bit: I'd prefer some software that I can install and use in my systems, not something "in the cloud" (although I'll check the suggestions out!)

    What things should I check to confirm that compression is actually happening on our tape backup system? Although the tapes are marked as 200G/520G (native/compressed) capacity, they seem to fill up before the 200G mark (some less than 100G).   • force connection using USB adapter

    Hi all I am new to Linux, so even though this is probably a simple problem it remains unsolved after more then 3 hours of googling :-( I run running ubuntu 10.04 LTS on an Acer Aspire 5520G . the laptop has a wireless adapter, but since I wanted better range I got an Edimax EW-7711USN USB adapter. now , when running ifconfig I am able to see both adapters where as the laptop native adapter is listed as wlan0 and the usb adapter is listed as wlan1. but listing available networks from the wireless network applet , all the connection are listed under wlan0 , the usb adapter is costencly listed as disconnected. this is what I have been trying to do so far 1) ifconfig wlan0 down - I got disconnected from the net but still was not able to get the usb to connect 2) used the wireless connection dialog to connect to a hidden network with the usb adapter - I was able to connect to the network but with no Internet access 3) disable wireless using the laptop function button - both wireless adapters where disabled can anyone suggest a way to connect to to the wireless network using the USB adapter rather then the built in one ?     I'm using grails 2.3.5 with mongodb 3.0.1 and no hibernate installed. I've a domain class which uses mongo's ObjectId. import org.bson.types.ObjectId class Category { ObjectId id String name } And has a record in mongo database: { "_id": ObjectId("53f6c34c33a429240e2ab471"), "name": "art", "version": NumberLong("41") } When I do, Category.get(new ObjectId("53f6c34c33a429240e2ab471")) somewhere in grails app, it returns null but when I do Category.get("53f6c34c33a429240e2ab471") it then actually returns the result. Why, get() method does not process ObjectId type?

    Installed Drupal 7 using the Web Platform installer on Windows 2008 For some reason, the file module, when you upload a file, uses the first few letters of the filename as the unique key to store in the database, which of course causes problems very fast. I'm wondering does anybody have a workaround for this? An AJAX HTTP request terminated abnormally. Debugging information follows.     Not sure if this is bad style, but I'm asking this question here because I couldn't find the answer elsewhere, and then I worked out one solution on my own. I'd be interested to see other people's solutions, but after a few days I'll post my own. In my specific case, I'm running on Windows 7, but I'd be interested in answers for other/older versions of Windows. I realise that one answer is "install a version of Unix find, and then solve as for Unix", but I wanted a more "native" solution. EDIT 2012-07-17: Clarification: by "automatically" I ideally mean something I can run as part of a script, rather than a GUI tool which does all the work at the press of a button, because I'll want to do this unattended.
