  • Drupal: how to apply plugins to modal lightbox content

    - by Patrick
hi, I'm using a lightbox on a page of my website to display my nodes. I'm using some plugins such as an external simpletooltips plugin and the drupal plugin jQuery Media (to load flash video player for some video file-fields). All this stuff stop to work for the content of the lightbox, I guess because the content is not parsed... how can I solve this ? Should I trigger the plugins again ? Thanks

  • Help with shopping cart in javascript

    - by user228390
    Hey guys, I'm having problems with my shopping cart. What I am trying to do is make a function that will add an item the cart and then and function that will view the cart and show the details. But what I have got so far does not do that, it just simply adds and goes straight to view cart. Also I wanted to store the name of each items in different global arrays (name, price and sum) but I can't get it work that way. Can any help me overcome this problem? Edit: I've tried to get it to work by adding some more items and attaching it to another html page, but now the code does not seem to work at all , before it showed the price and total and now I get nothing . javascript code function round_total (c) { var pennies = c * 100; pennies = Math.round(pennies); var strPennies = "" + pennies; var len = strPennies.length; return parseFloat(strPennies.substring(0, len - 2) + "." + strPennies.substring(len - 2, len)); } // End of round_total function. /* Start of generate_page function. */ function generate_page (form) { tax = 0.08; delivery_p = 2.99; var odate = new Date(); var qty = form.quantity.value; var product_v = new String(form.product.value); var total_price = product_v.substr(product_v.indexOf("$") + 1, product_v.length - product_v.indexOf("$")); var price_without_tax = round_total(qty * total_price); var ttax = round_total(price_without_tax * tax); var delivery = round_total(qty * delivery_p); var total_p = round_total(price_without_tax + ttax + delivery); document.writeln("Quantity: " + qty + "<br>"); document.writeln("Price: $" + total_price + "<br>"); document.writeln("Delivery: $" + delivery + "<br>"); document.writeln("Total: $" + total_p + "<br>"); document.writeln("Order placed on: " + odate.toGMTString()); } function calculate() { round_total (c)(); generate_page (form)(); } HTML code: Shopping cart Welcome, Guest Login Sign Up Stay Updated: Subscribe via RSS Email Updates <div id="header"> <div id="branding" class="container"> <h1>The Finest Toy<br /> Store Online</h1> <p class="desc">If you're looking for a toy shop then look no further.<br/> Go on, treat the kids with our huge selection of<br/>online toy shops selling toys for all ages.</p> </div><!-- end branding --> <div id="navigation"> <ul id="menu" class="container"> <li><a href="#">HOME</a></li> <li><a href="#">ABOUT</a></li> <li><a href="#">Online Store</a></li> <li><a href="#">CONTACT</a></li> </ul> </div><!-- end navigation --> </div><!-- end header --> Shopping Cart Nintendo DS Xbox Product: Console £149.99 Console + Games £169.99 Quantity: Product: Console £149.99 Console + Games £169.99 Quantity:     Playstation 3 Wii Product: Console £149.99 Console + Games £169.99 Quantity:   Product: Console £149.99 Console + Games £169.99 Quantity:        <input type="submit" value="Add to cart" name="submit" onClick="cart()";/><input , type="reset" value="Reset" name="reset" Copyright © 2010 shopping cart.   • mod_rewrite with anchor link

    - by Graham
Hi, thanks for looking. I know you can't redirect anchor URLs to another page, but is it possible to redirect a URL to only a single anchor? So http://www.example.com/video/{title} always gets sent to http://www.example.com/video.php?title={title}#player The only thing that changes is the title, anchor is always the same... I need to redirect to a certain slide on a coda slider

On Core 2 Duo 1.83ghz, integrated video (only one core is used) - 1500 (older java) vs 700 fps On Athlon 64 3500+, discrete video - 120 (older java) vs 55 fps The app is a simple game with a moving rectangle. I'm using Graphics2D to draw from a loop.

  • How to reconcile my support of open-source software and need to feed and house myself?

    - by Guzba
I have a bit of a dilemma and wanted to get some other developers' opinions on it and maybe some guidance. So I have created a 2D game for Android from the ground up, learning and re factoring as I went along. I did it for the experience, and have been proud of the results. I released it for free as ad supported with AdMob not really expecting much out of it, but curious to see what would happen. Its been a few of months now since release, and it has become very popular (250k downloads!). Additionally, the ad revenue is great and is driving me to make more good games and even allowing me to work less so that I can focus on my own works. When I originally began working on the game, I was pretty new to concurrency and completely new to Android (had Java experience though). The standard advice I got for starting an Android game was to look at the sample games from Google (Snake, Lunar Lander, ...) so I did. In my opinion, these Android sample games from Google are decent to see in general what your code should look like, but not actually all that great to follow. This is because some of their features don't work (saving game state), the concurrency is both unexplained and cumbersome (there is no real separation between the game thread and the UI thread since they sync lock each other out all the time and the UI thread runs game thread code). This made it difficult for me as a newbie to concurrency to understand how it was organized and what was really running what code. Here is my dilemma: After spending this past few months slowly improving my code, I feel that it could be very beneficial to developers who are in the same position that I was in when I started. (Since it is not a complex game, but clearly coded in my opinion.) I want to open up the source so that others can learn from it but don't want to lose my ad revenue stream, which, if I did open the source, I fear I would when people released versions with the ad stripped, or minor tweaks that would fragment my audience, etc. I am a CS undergrad major in college and this money is giving me the freedom to work less at summer job, thus giving me the time and will to work on more of my own projects and improving my own skills while still paying the bills. So what do I do? Open the source at personal sacrifice for the greater good, or keep it closed and be a sort of hypocritical supporter of open source?

  • Redirect on a SWFObject when Full Screen is clicked?

    - by maguidhir
I am using JavaScript to display a swf video, and I want to override the Full Screen button if possible, so that it redirects to another url instead of making the video full screen. Is there a parameter that I can pass to the SWFObject that will allow me to do this? I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

  • YouTube .Net API - Not getting correct View Counts

    - by Ardman
I've managed to plug away through the YouTube documentation, and have managed to successfully implement the majority of what I want to work. My question is, I get the video View count and it comes back lower than the actual video on YouTube. It was fine this morning and both showed correctly, but now my version is out by 4 views. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can tell me if they update the values every 5/10/15/24 hours?

If source of data is httpS ://domain.com/1.flv - it works httpS ://domain.com/view.php - it doesn't work HTTP ://domain.com/view.php - it works again. • C++ for small, individual projects (i.e. hobby programming)

    - by Ygam
I recently started C++. I am using PHP right now and decided to take a look at C++. Web programming had me working with a couple of languages, with a couple of people. I wanted to do programming where I only had to bother with one language and create small utility apps (mostly not web-based). I wanted a compiled, strongly-type language without memorizing a tome of classes. Basically I wanted to learn C++ for the following: mobile programming (I don't ever want to go touching Java, and I don't have a Mac for Objective C or IPhone SDK) small desktop apps like DTRs, POSs creating small desktop-based games creating small Air-like applications that can access the web for additional content I heard that C++ is not beginner-friendly and is mostly used for huge projects with lots of calculations and fine details (like 3D games). Is it practical or even possible for me to use C++ for the above cases? (Sorry, I haven't delved on C++ that much yet, so aside from "huge, monolithic project", I don't know any other uses for it)
