    Hi, i have problem trying to find out the default resolution of the images taken and saved by UIImagePicker. I'm trying to merge the photo taken and another image from my library and without knowing what's the size of the image, i'm not able to merge the 2 images correctly. Another question is that: are there different resolutions for the different iphones such as 2g, 3g or 3gs?

    In one web page we use a flash upload control but becouse a flash bug in the upload event the session is lost as its posted back with a new session. We have tought of using a table with ip and old session id or a query string with the old session id in order to reassing it in the uploaded event... Knowing the old session id how can i reassign it to the client? (In C#)

    Why Nibernate HQL can not handle the following query: from Deal D where (D.ApprovalDate + INTERVAL 1 Year) < current_timestamp() < (D.RenewalDate + INTERVAL -1 Year) knowing that INTERVAL and YEAR are keywords in MySQL, so this is kind of mixing Sql within Hql (unless Hql can handle date functions like so and I don't know) . The dialect is MySQLDialect Its perfectly valid to execute this query SELECT '2005-01-01' + INTERVAL 1 Year;

  • what is the most elegant way in ruby to remove a parameter from url?

    I would like to take out a parameter from url by it's name without knowing if it is the first, middle or last parameter and reassemble url again. I guess it is not that hard to write something on my own using CGI or URI, but I imagine such functionality exists already.     I feel dumb for having been a web programmer for so long and not knowing the answer to this question, I actually hope it's possible and I just didn't know about rather than what I think is the answer (which is that it's not possible). My question is whether it is possible to make a CSS class that "inherits" from another CSS class (or more than one). For example, say we had: .something { display:inline } .else { background:red } What I'd like to do is something like this: .composite { .something; .else } where the ".composite" class would both display inline and have a red background

    KEYEVENTF_SILENT is a constant used in calls like this one: keybd_event(VK_OFF, 0, KEYEVENTF_SILENT, 0); keybd_event(VK_OFF, 0, KEYEVENTF_SILENT | KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0); But since I am using .net I don't know what the actual value of KEYEVENTF_SILENT is.     I would like to match any character and any whitespace except comma with regex. Only matching any character except comma gives me: [^,]* but I also want to match any whitespace characters, tabs, space, newline, etc. anywhere in the string. For example, I would like to be able to match all of this up until the comma: "bla bla bla" "asdfasdfasdfasdfasdfasdf" "asdfasdfasdf", Is there a simple way to do this without knowing where the whitespace may be?

  • How can I run Gcov over an installed Cocoa application?

    I have a Cocoa application which uses an installer. I want to be able to run code coverage over the code (after it has been installed). This is not the usual unit-test scenario where a single binary will run a suite of tests. Rather, the tests in question will interact with the UI and the app back-end whilst it is running, so I ideally want to be able to start the application knowing that Gcov is profiling it and then run tests against it. Any ideas?

Knowing that (Tv10DBLookup)(Sender)).EditValue is returning the value "Closed" what does this mean ?
