  • mysql select column from view problem

    i create a view table like : CREATE VIEW ViewManager AS SELECT us.UserId AS 'Account Manager', ......... after that, when i run a query to select data from this view like : SELECT 'Account Manager' , .. from ViewManager then the data i get in this column is the text 'Account Manager' and not the value of the this columns. Is there a way to solve this ? Of course I can change the field name , but i want to know if there is another solution, thanks.

  • How to use linked resource with eclipse CDT ?

    I found it very difficult to configure linked resource in Eclipse CDT. Folder "wspolne" is located somewhere in the system, I'd like to use .cpp .h files from it in my current project, but avoid copying it. From what i read about Linked Resources is a solution, but I can't build a projct :/ I followed instuctions described here with out any result: stackoverflow.com/questions/1907275/in-eclipse-cdt-shared-resource-folder-that-is-built-differently-for-the-project.     Hello, Does anyone one know of a CDN (Content Delivery Network) with true South American peering points or edge nodes? This seems to be quite rare. It seems that most CDNs serve Central and South America from Texas. However, our application requires low latency in Brazil, so this is not a good solution for us. We would like to avoid having to set up servers in South America just for this piece of the application, but may end up doing that. Thanks, Bill

    What do I have to do to disable all system pop-ups in WinCE 6 R2? I read Mike Hall's post about Kiosk mode [1] but that's not going to work for us because we still want the standard graphical Explorer shell.     I use paypal for my payments. For verification i use IPN. Can i review my INP History in the Paypal Sandbox? At the documentation i see Instant Payment Notification History in the History tab. (https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=developer/e_howto_admin_IPNOperations) After googling i see "IPN History" chapter in the History tab (http://goo.gl/myZKF) At the real sandbox i don't see any IPN history.     I have been pondering why it is recommended that we should not release managed resources inside finalize. If you see the code example at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.gc.suppressfinalize.aspx , and search for string "Dispose(bool disposing) executes in two distinct scenarios" and read that comment, you will understand what I mean. Only possibility I can think of is that it probably has something to do with the fact that it is not possible to predict when finalizer will get called. Does anyone know the right answer ? thanks, mishal
