  I am trying to setup a zf1 + doctrine mongo odm 1.0.0BETA4-DEV project.   Here is what I do: 1) Create New UIViewController subclass , tick with NIB for interface builder 2) In the header: @interface QuizMainViewController : UIViewController { UILabel* aLabel; } @property (nonatomic, retain) IBOutlet UILabel* aLabel; @end 3) In the .m #import "QuizMainViewController.h" @implementation QuizMainViewController @synthesize aLabel; - (void)dealloc { [aLabel release]; [super dealloc]; } @end 4) Open the NIB In interface builder, drag a new UILabel into the view. I test the program here and it runs fine. 5) right click on file's owner, connect 'aLabel' from the Outlets to the UILabel. I run here and it crashes. Message from log: * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSUnknownKeyException', reason: '[ setValue:forUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key aLabel.'

• Load properties file in JAR?

  I'm having trouble when one of the jars that my web app depends on tries to load a properties file from within the jar. Here is the code in the jar. static { Properties props = new Properties(); try { props.load(ClassLoader.getSystemResourceAsStream("someProps.properties")); } catch (IOException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } someProperty = props.getProperty("someKey"); } The properties file is in my "src/main/resources" directory of the Maven project. When I run this code from my junit test in Eclipse, it executes just fine. When the project is built with Maven into a jar, and included as a dependency in my webb app, it fails to locate the properties file. I know that the properties file is at the base directory of the depended on jar, I don't know how to fix this. Please help!

  I have a pure ActionScript project. I'm using Flex Builder on a Mac, Flex SDK 3.4 and I've even added the playerglobal.swc from the Flash folder to the project's library path. I get autocomplete when I add import flash.net.NetStreamPlayOptions; import flash.net.NetStreamPlayTransitions; But when I run the movie, I get: VerifyError: Error #1014: Class flash.net::NetStreamPlayOptions could not be found. I don't get it.. What must I do to use those classes?

  Hi everyone, is it possible to change external class field accesses in Java to getter / setter calls automatically, and also hide the exposed fields? I'm using Javabeans and I want change notifications when a field property changes (this is important). I've found cglib which can automatically insert the property change call to the PropertyChangeSupport field. I'd like this question to be a discussion of the issues posed and their solutions. I know about Project Lombok, but this appears to modify the source code, and additionally doesn't support field access modification.   console.log takes a string and replaces tokens with values, for example: console.log("My name is %s, and I like %", 'Dave', 'Javascript') would print: My name is Dave, and I like Javascript I'd like to wrap this inside a method like so: function log(msg, values) { if(config.log == true){ console.log(msg, values); } } The 'values' arg might be a single value or several optional args. How can I accomplish this? If I call it like so: log("My name is %s, and I like %s", "Dave", "Javascript"); I get this (it doesn't recognize "Javascript" as a 3rd argument): My name is Dave, and I like %s If I call this: log("My name is %s, and I like %s", ["Dave", "Javascript"]); then it treats the second arg as an array (it doesn't expand to multiple args). What trick am I missing to get it to expand the optional args?

I have created two end points for both the contracts. But I'm not able to access the service from client code. It displays a big error when i try to update the service reference as: Metadata contains an error that cannot be resolved.... There was no endpoint listening at ... etc. I know that you can't have two OperationContracts with the same name but is it possible to have two operation contracts in different service contracts with same name but different signature? • NSKeyedArchiver save method ( that i made) crashed the iphone simulator

  i saw this approach on a tutorial, and the message is working for their example but when i implement this it does not work. from what i can tell the iphone simulator crashes when i do a [ self saveSettingsData]. TheSettings is class object that i declare and initialize in the appdelagate with these methods. the error says terminating due to uncaught exception. i am new to the iphone sdk and objective, so i really can't figure out what is going on thanks to any one who can help, i am ready to literally pull my hair out. • Creating Instance of a DataContract Class on the client side

  I'm not sure, if it's right to do this, but I'd like to ask this question again ( http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2498644/creating-instance-of-a-service-side-datacontract-class-on-client-side-in-wcf ). The main question is - why there's difference between creating instance on the client side and creating it on the server side? Why there're some properties, that lose their values when you create them on the client side and pass it to service's functions? What could be the issue? Any version will be appreciated.   Is it possible to get a method's return value in the Visual Studio debugger, even if that value isn't assigned to a local variable? For example, I'm debugging the following code: public string Foo(int valueIn) { if (valueIn > 100) return Proxy.Bar(valueIn); else return "Not enough"; } Since I'm not setting any local variables in Foo, and assuming I'm not setting a break point in whatever's calling Foo, is there a way to see what the return value is if I have a breakpoint inside of Foo (or another way)? I don't have much experience with the Autos or Intermediate windows, so I'm not sure if those are even a valid option or not.

  This is mostly just out of curiosity, and is potentially a silly question. :) I have a method like this: public void MyMethod(string arg1, string arg2, int arg3, string arg4, MyClass arg5) { // some magic here } None of the arguments can be null, and none of the string arguments can equal String.Empty. Instead of me having a big list of: if(arg1 == string.Empty || arg1 == null) { throw new ArgumentException("issue with arg1"); } is there a quicker way to just check all the string arguments?
