  • Move database from sql server 2008 to 2005

    I have a database currently in SQL Server 2008 to be moved to SQL Server 2005. I would like to backup the 2008 db to a bak file and import it to 2005, but couldn't find any options in SSMS 2008 while taking backup. Has anyone had a similar need in the past? How did you manage this through?

  • Windows7 Installer takes priority how to move it back during installation using C#?

    I've a custom Action on Deployment project of .NET Applicaiton, which contains custom dialogbox to enter certain parameters, on invalid parameters I've shown MessageBox.Show - but its being hide by installer window, I tried windows forms too with Activate, TopMost, Focus,bring2front, etc serveral options but it comes by default behind the windows installer window and due to this user is not able to identify why installing process is not finishing - because actually its waiting for user to read the MessageBox and press OK. I've tried to implement IWin32Window with the handler of MsiExec Process, and shown the Messagebox but still its not working, anyone has idea ???     I have tried a few options, none of which seem to work (if I have a simple multipart form with a named field, it works well, but when I don't know the name I can't just grab all files in the request...). I have looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/81451/upload-files-in-google-app-engine and it doesn't seem suitable (or to actually work, as someone mentioned the code snipped it untested).

  • Blending pixels from Two Bitmaps

    I'm beating my head against a wall here, and I'm fairly certain I'm doing something stupid, so time to make my stupidity public. I'm trying to take two images, blend them together into a third image using standard blending algorithms (Hardlight, softlight, overlay, multiply, etc). Because Android does not have such blend properties build in, I've gone down the path of taking each pixel and combine them using an algorithm. However, the results are garbage. Any help would be appreciated. Below is the code, which I've tried to strip out all the "junk", but some may have made it through. I'll clean it up if something isn't clear.     I'm thinking of a web app that uses CouchDB extensively, to the point where there would be great gains from serving with the native erlang HTTP API as much as possible. Can you configure Apache as a reverse proxy to allow outside GETs to be proxied directly to CouchDB, whereas PUT/POST are sent to the application internal logic (for sanitation, authentication...)? Or is this unwise -- the CouchDB built-in authentication options just seem a little weak for a Web App. Thanks

    According to the MSDN, you can specify an access type parameter to InternetOpen. Two of the options for the dwAccessType parameter are: INTERNET_OPEN_TYPE_DIRECT - Resolves all host names locally. INTERNET_OPEN_TYPE_PRECONFIG - Retrieves the proxy or direct configuration from the registry. Which of these should I use? I don't know which would be "better". We don't want our application to do anything clever, all we want it to do is access the internet in a normal way.

    Hi all, I am looking to implement a WebDAV server in ASP.Net. the app will be deployed to IIS 6. I have seen a few frameworks that provide this functionality, but I can't seem to identify how they're able to accomplish it without (apparently) modifying IIS settings. My specific question is how do I configure IIS and ASP.Net so that a IHttpModule/IHttpHandler might have an opportunity to handle any of the additional WebDAV verbs (i.e. LOCK, OPTIONS, PROFIND, etc.)

    Hello, I have this code in my .htaccess: Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^(.*)\+apple\+fruit/$ ?q=$1 [L] this turns the searchquery in /keyword+apple+fruit/ thats ok.. the only problem is, if I type in /keyword+apple+fruit +any+text+haha+ apple+fruit/ the htacces is showing content - but I don't want that. is there any command to say - ok apple + fruit only one time in the url and the second time send a 404 or show nothing.. thank you!!

(dont ask why, long story, I need them for each with different settings involving Audio Recording) I am very keen to install the new Ubuntu and get into a new OS, out of interest but I don't want to mess with my current 2 windows installations? If I install Ubuntu, will this simply add to my list of OS boot options when you set it, like I did when I install my 2nd Windows 7 Any comments or help would be great? Thanks Bill
