  I have no problem plotting the following cumulative frequency graph plot like this. library(Hmisc) pre.test <- rnorm(100,50,10) post.test <- rnorm(100,55,10) x <- c(pre.test, post.test) g <- c(rep('Pre',length(pre.test)),rep('Post',length(post.test))) Ecdf(x, group=g, what="f", xlab='Test Results', label.curves=list(keys=1:2)) But I want to show the graph in forms of the "reverse" cumulative frequency of values x ? (i.e. something equivalent to what="1-f"). Is there a way to do it? Other suggestions in R other than using Hmisc are also very much welcomed.

In the controller, I created a collection called @campaigns. • Implement Combobox/Option Menu funcionality on an iPhone interface?

  I want to give a list of choices on an iPhone GUI that works like a Combobox/Option menu. It needs to display the current selection, but on tapping it you should be able to change the current selection which will trigger a refresh of the screen. The option menu is letting the user choose which category a search is being performed under. So there is a default category and there are about 6 other choices. Idea 1: Use a label or button and when clicked on a new screen overlays that has all 6 options in a tableview, clicking on one closes the overlay screen and goes back to the main page with the updated value displayed. Idea 2: Should I use a totally different but native iPhone GUI widget like a Navbar at the bottom of the screen to reflect the different options?

  I have several strings in my site that don't belong to any app, for example {% block title %}{% trans "Login" %}{% endblock %} or a modified authentication form used to set the locale cookie class AuthenticationFormWithLocaleOption(AuthenticationForm): locale = forms.ChoiceField(choices = settings.LANGUAGES, required = False, initial = preselectedLocale, label = _("Locale/language")) Now when I execute django-admin.py makemessages --all -e .html,.template in the site directory, it extracts the strings from all Python, .html and .template files, including those in my apps. That is because I develop my apps inside that directory: Directory structure: sitename myapp1 myapp2 Is there any way to extract all strings that are not in my apps? The only solution I found is to move the app directories outside the site directory structure, but I'm using bzr-externals (similar to git submodules or svn externals) so that doesn't make sense in my case. Moving stuff that needs translation into a new app is also possible but I don't know if that is the only reasonable solution.

  I'm experimenting with jquery and svg, I make up my path but now I want to change that (based on some user input) I do something like var dpath = $('path').attr("d"); $('path').attr("d",dpath.replace("150 150", "450 450")); which works fine, but this not useful when my path grows, so I wonder is there a possibility to put a label or a comment in the path to serve as a replace hook? searching for svg path comments gives me all.   Hi all, Consider this dot language code: digraph graphname { subgraph clusterA { node [shape=plaintext,style=filled]; 1 -> 2 [arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot]; 2 -> 3 -> X2 -> 5; 6; 7; label = "A"; color=blue } } In the above example, only the 1 -> 2 connection will have the arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot style applied; all the other arrows will be of the "default" style. My question is - how do I set the arrow style (for the entire subgraph - or for the entire graph), without having to copy paste "[arrowhead=normal,arrowtail=dot];" next to each edge connection? The user should be able to check the checkboxes of the images they want to appear in their "shopping cart". The images, checkbox label, and list are populated by an XmlList. How can I do this in Flex 3.5 and Actionscript and have a button that when clicked, display a list of the checked items??

  Not sure why my code is defaulting to this elif. But it's never getting to the else statement. Even going as far as throwing index out of bound errors in the last elif. Please disregard my non use of regex. It wasn't allowed for this homework assignment. The problem is the last elif before the else statement.   I am trying to make an effect on a button that when I mouse over it, it keeps jumping up and down smoothly and when mouse out it stops. • Is c++ explicit conversion really that bad?

  My knowledge in c++ at this point is more academic than anything else and in all my reading thus far, the use of explicit conversion with named casts (const_cast, static_cast, reinterpret_cast, dynamic_cast) has come with a big warning label (and it's easy to see why) that pretty much implies explicit conversion is symptomatic of bad design and should only be used as a last resort in desperate circumstances. So i have to ask: Is explicit conversion with named casts really just jury rigging code or is there a more graceful and positive application to this feature? Is there a good example of the latter? I am using this label in TableViewCell along with UILabel.i set UILabel & StyleLabel background color is set to clearColor. UILabel works fine, but StyleLabel shows background in blackColor. I am not sure what is the problem with the following code.   hi i have a simpel tkinter window. consists of a small window, a timer, and a button for set timer. dont want to go in details with the code... Now all the widgets in my windows eg. button, Label Ect. will have to change color. EG. i Have a global variabel wich i will set as color "red" fx... All the widgets BACKGROUND option is associated with the global variabel. Now on button press i will change the global variable to "green" so that the background of all widgets ect. will change color, but they DONT. i thought the .mainloop() sort of UPDATED the window. how can i have the widgets to change background color when my variable change WITHOUT restarting my application??? ty Xanthar

• Wrapping pre-made elements using GWT?

  Hi, I've been working with GWT for awhile, I can't find a way to integrate it with a preexisting website which is a real downer. My page content is already generated for me using jsp, like: <div id='A'></div> <div id='B'></div> etc. there is no way for me to do something like this though: public void onModuleLoad() { SimplePanel spA = new SimplePanel( Document.getElementById("A")); spA.add(new Label("hello")); SimplePanel spB = new SimplePanel( Document.getElementById("B")); spB.setWidth("200px"); etc .. } seems like there's no way to just wrap a pre-existing element. Is this true, or am I missing how to do this? I need be able to wrap a bunch of elements like this, to manipulate them later on. • SVN Export in Eclipse removes labels on tabs

  I have a very strange effect when using subclipse with eclipse. Whenever I use Team-Export to export a file from the editor the export works fine, but the label of the tab of the file is removed. Effect can be seen here: http://www.daspferd.de/img/tabs.png Strangely enough it happens with php-files, css-files, html-files but NOT with javascript-files. So I'm assuming it's some kind of setting that I haven't found yet and not a bug in subclipse. Anyone know where I can shut down this behaviour?

  I have a model called Movie, which has a ManyToManyField called director to a model called Person, and I'm trying to create a form with ModelChoiceField like so: class MovieSearchForm(forms.Form): producer = forms.ModelChoiceField(label='Produced by', queryset=movies.models.Person.producer_set, required=False) but this seems to be failing to compile (I'm getting a ViewDoesNotExist exception for the view that uses the form, but it goes away if I just replace the queryset with all the person objects), I'm guessing because '.producer_set' is being evaluated too 'early'. How can I get this work? here are the relevant parts of the movie/person classes: class Person(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=100) class Movie(models.Model): ... producer = models.ForeignKey(Person, related_name="producers") director = models.ForeignKey(Person, related_name="directors") What I'm trying to do is get ever Person who is used in the producer field of some Movie.

  I'm using System.Net.Mail to send out a few emails. The emails are being sent by our internal mail server to local addresses. However all of the messages are going straight to junk in Outlook. The messages are being sent from valid email addresses. What would be causing our our servers to label it as junk? • Is using .h as a header for a c++ file wrong?

  Is using .h as a header for a c++ file wrong? I see it all over the place, especially with code written in the "C style". I noticed that Emacs always selects C highlighting style for a .h header, but c++ for hpp or hh. Is it actually "wrong" to label your headers .h or is it just something which annoys me? EDIT: There is a good (ish) reason why this annoys me, if I have project files labelled, 'hpp & cpp' I can get away with 'grep something *pp' etc. otherwise I have to type '.h cpp'

What can be the issue? Almost forgot when I check in debug mText filed of that button in both cases, when it is displayeed and when it is not, it equals "".
