  My exim4 don't send any message. The logs says 2011-03-09 15:59:57 1PxKrl-00038i-BT malware acl condition: clamd: ClamAV returned /var/spool/exim4/scan/1PxKrl-00038i-BT: lstat() failed: Permission denied. ERROR I supose that clamav (running clamd) does'nt have access rights on the mentioned file, but clamav is in the same group as Debian-exim (running exim4). Even changing the folder permissions to a+rwx has no effect. Any idea where to look for failure reason ?

• Problem with slow hard disk

  We bought some new PCs in my company with the new iCore 7 and 8GB memory and the following hard disk: WESTERN DIGITAL WD8000AARS 800GB CAVIAR GREEN SATA2 The problem we have is that after installing windows XP64 SP2 the write speed of the hard disk is extremely low!. The windows system monitor shows that the Average Disk queue length is always at 100% and a winzip extract of 350mb takes about 8min. Is there any idea on where to start looking for the cause of that? Thanks

• Wine + InstallShield can't find a locale challenged .msi file

  I am trying to install this cheap old Japanese game I've bought but I can't get past the Installer. The CD contains a File named D:\[Japanese Characters].msi and Installshield running under wine is unable to find it giving me error 1155. I have tried mounting the CD with iocharset=sjis as well as the default utf-8 and also running the installer with and without LANG=ja_JP.Shift-JIS, but it doesn't make a difference. Also the file really is in D:. Any idea?

When I am in the Accounts screen, I don't see the user listed, but when I try to add it, I get the error message "Name is used by another user". This user name is not listed in /etc/passwd. I don't know if I get this right, but there seems to be a set of Roland Sound Canvas samples used in XP's wavetable synthesizer. I looked for a SoundFont based on these samples, but either there is none in my Windows installation, or the MIDI playback works in a different way. Anyone has an idea where to look for it?
