I want to know if there is a way to show the context menu for each element on a key press(preferably the menu key). To rephrase my question, how can I trigger the context menu and not the options menu by pressing the menu key(or any other key).

Suppose we are modeling a blog application and we have this classes: Post (Entity) Comment (Value object) Tag (Value object) PostsRespository (Respository) I Know that when I save a new post, its tags are saving with it in the same table. But how could I load all tags of all posts. Has PostsRespository got a method to load all tags? I usually do it, but I want to know others opinions

Anyway, I'd like to know if there's any real-life example (with sources) of NHibernate in C#, to learn best practices etc.?     Sorry, I don't know where to open this subject. This is not the first time we have faced with a massive DDOS attack from one of servers in RedStation.com and even after we had contacted with their abuse department with it's log there is no cooperation and they don't even like to bother themselves about it. and we don't know how to stop such activity. Do you know how to file complaint against this datacenter? we could not be patient anymore and see they are not care about such things on their network ? it seems like they are heaven for attackers now since they close their eyes to gain more money. I guess some global organization is missing in this matter to investigate such activity and make sure providers are responsible for their services.   • How do I calculate the average direction of two vectors

    Hi, I am writing and opengl based iphone app and would like to allow a user to translate around a view based on the direction that they move two fingers on the screen. For one finger I know I could just calculate the vector from the start position to the current position of the users finger and then find the unit vector of this to get just the direction, but I don't know how I would do this for two fingers, I don't think adding the components of the vectors and calculating the average would work so I'm pretty much stuck... thanks in advance

They've never really caused me major problems (although I first learned about them back in the Neolithic).     The title is obvious, I need to know if methods are serialized along with object instances in C#, I know that they don't in Java but I'm a little new to C#. If they don't, do I have to put the original class with the byte stream(serialized object) in one package when sending it to another PC? Can the original class be like a DLL file?

    When generating a strongly-typed Index view for my model I always get the following: <%= Html.ActionLink("Edit", "Edit", new { /* id=item.PrimaryKey */ }) %> I am using a POCO class for use with our ORM. As I understand it when using LINQ to SQL the view code will know which field is the primary key. Is there a way that I can an attribute to the property (or class) that will let the View Generator know that the ID property if the primary key?

    I seem to have two options on how to implement arrays, and I want to know which I should go with: Use the ARRAY data type and (from what I understand) effectively serialize data objects into the database (which in my case are just wrapped primitive types; don't know of another way to make this work). Use a separate table and map with foreign keys for each array item. If you have experience with this (especially with H2), which would you recommend?

    If I have a cube divided into 8 smaller cubes, each of which may be subdivided into a further 8 cubes, ad infinitum, what is the name of my system? I know that it's a special case of a tree, where each brance contains exactly 8 other leaves/branches. I remember the name starting with "Oct", and there was a wikipedia article on it, but I honestly can't find it! Does anyone know what such a data structure is actually known as?

    On iOS, I am looking for the proper way to return the URLs for a list of files that are in a directory. /images 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg ... I know the URL for the directory and know all the files in the directory will be of type jpeg. It is not clear to me how to properly format the NSURLRequest to return the list of files in the images directory. Once the list is returned, I will iterate through it to return the individual images.

  • Problems with starting windows service on windows xp SP3

    I'm currently facing a problem which I can not resolve and I really don't know what to do anymore. When I'm trying to start the service I receive the message: "The service is started but again also stopped, this because that some of the services will stop if they have nothing to do, for example the performance logs and the alerts service". I've looked into the Windows Logs but nothing is written there which could describe why my service is all the time stopping. I've also tried to fire the windows service via the command prompt which gives me the message: "The service is not started, but the service didn't return any faults.". I've tried to remove all keys which references to my service, which didn't resolve the issue. I've searched on google (maybe not good enough) to find an answer but I didn't found any. I did found some websites which describes what I could do, but all of these suggestions didn't work. This is kinda ** because I do not know where to look. I do not have any error message, i do not have any id which i can use to search on. I really don't know where to start and I hope you guys can help me on this one. Detailed explanation about the windows service OS: Windows XP SP3 .Net Framework: .Net 4.0 Client Profile Language: C# Development environment: Visual Studio 2010 Professional (but Visual Studio 2012 RC is installed) Communications: WCF (Named Pipes), WCF (BasicHTTPBinding) Named Pipes: I have chosen for this solution because I wanted to communicate from a windows service to a windows form application. It worked now for quite some time but suddenly my windows service shuts it self down and I couldn't restart it anymore. There are two named pipes services implemented: An event service which will send any notification to the windows form application and an management service which gives my windows form application the possibility to maintain my windows service. BasicHTTPBinding: The basic http binding makes the connection to a central server. This connection is then used for streaming information from the client to the server. I do not know which additional information you will need, but if you guys need something then I'll try to give it as detailed as possible. Thank you in advance.
