    Hi I am trying to make a simple search form that uses a startTime and endTime to specify a time range. The db has a datetime field time that is compared against. So far when i try to use params[:startTime] in the controller I get an array of values which wont work with :conditions = ['time < ?', params[:endTime]] Is there a simple solution to parse the form's datetime to SQL datetime?

I saved the certificate from within firefox, but the resulting .pem file has many certificates in it and net/http doesn't seem to like it.

  • Best options for image resizing

    Hi, I have resize images exceeding a max size. Methods I tried so far are not good enough :-( System.Drawing.Image.GetThumbnailImage generates very poor quality images in general. Playing with options like this one I can generate better images in quality but heavier than the original one. Probably the second option (or something similar) is the best option and I would need to resize using the proper options. Any advice?

As far as I could understand it, I can directly put the Authentication object into SecurityContextHolder. Here is how I do it: Authentication auth = new TwitterOAuthAuthentication(member, userDetailsService.loadUserByUsername(member.getUsername()).getAuthorities()); SecurityContextHolder.getContext().setAuthentication(auth); This for some reason does absolutely nothing. What am I missing and what should I do to accomplish what need?

I have got as far as : git log -- filename which shows me the commit history of the file, but how do I get at the content of each of the changes ?   • Line for signature in markdown

    I'm writing a document using markdown, which I'm exporting to a PDF using pandoc. At the end of the document I need to have space for signatures on a printed copy of the PDF. I've tried to find how to draw a line with a fixed width, but so far I only got to escaping the underscore character, which doesn't feel quite right. It's as if I'm missing something, this couldn't possibly be that unusual to want to do. Any help or pointers are greatly appreciated.
